About: I myself have a deaf and anxious pup. From her, I have learned how to navigate certain tough situations. I have had to put so much time and effort into her training and am watching her become an amazingly happy and well behaved dog (she even knows a bit of sign language!) I also lost a buddy back in July. He was 14 years old and required medication administration many times a day. With him I learned a lot about helping the old guys feel as happy and safe as possible because they are probably scared of the changes they are experiencing in their lives. I am very active and love going on long walks, so having a dog there would just be an extra bit of fun! I am currently in school but only taking a few classes. I'll have time to play with your pups in the evening especially if you need a night off but they still need a walk! I live in an apartment so leashes are crucial. I would never let my own dog off the leash, so I would never put your dog in a situation where something could go wrong. My own dog is quite reactive on the leash, so if I sense that we are approaching a person/dog/object that might trigger her reactivity I usually steer clear of it to avoid any kind of avoidable altercation. I want every dog to feel safe so i will adjust based on what your dog’s body language is telling me.

About: I am a full time dog mom who has been blessed to have worked for a vets office doing daycare and boarding while I was in college, and found my way back to the animal world as a full time vet assistant for 6 years. I also started pet sitting for clients and friends a few years ago as favors and it has grown into years of house sitting either in my home or theirs. I love each pet as my own while understanding their different quirks and needs, while my training in the veterinary world allows me to medicate and take care of special needs babies if I need to. I am capable of taking care of all kinds of animals, as I also work at a barn part time with 12 horses. Although I am not a vet tech anymore I am in management in health care and I work full time but have available early mornings and evenings after 4:30. I also only work half days on Friday’s and have all weekends open. I workout at 5 am, 5 days a week so I start early! At one point we had 26 birds, 24 guinea pigs, 2 cats, and 3 dogs, so being around animals has always just felt natural to me. My faith is a big part of who I am and how I treat others. We live in Mocksville, NC, and I’m in the Clemmons and Winston area often, so I’m very flexible depending on your location and needs. My husband is a U.S. Navy veteran, so we have a deep appreciation for those who serve and a special place in our hearts for military families. At the end of the day, I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pet is being cared for with attention, patience, and genuine love while you’re away. I’m currently a stay at home mom, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day. On weekdays, I do school drop off between 7:45am and 9:30am and need to be home again by 3pm for pick up. Outside of those times, I’m generally very open and able to accommodate visits and walks. If a drop-in or walk falls within those school hours, my kids may come along with me. They absolutely love animals and are always gentle, respectful, and happy to give your fur baby a little extra love and attention 😊 ⸻ Note: I’ve adjusted my 30 minute drop in and walking rate because I often find myself staying a little longer to make sure your pet truly gets the attention and care they need. In my opinion, 30 minutes can feel rushed, especially for pets who have been alone for a while. I never want your pet to feel hurried, so I do my best to include extra time whenever possible so they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved on. My rate is flexible depending on your pet’s needs, so please feel free to reach out with any questions. I’m always happy to chat! I am very respectful of my home as well as others. I like to keep things clean and take pride in maintaining a well-kept space. I’m not one to pry, and I’m very self-aware, always making sure I’m being respectful of your home. I will treat your home the same way I would want my own to be treated. I’m great with following directions and instructions, and when it comes to your pets, I take my time to make sure their needs are fully met. You can definitely expect a bunch of updates and pictures while your furry or feathered babies are in my care.

My routine revolves around making sure my dog is walked, fed, and given plenty of attention throughout the day. Feel free to message me about availability! I typically am available whenever you need!! I have a very friendly and energetic Husky in my home who loves staying active. We go on walks around the neighborhood about every 2 hours for potty breaks, as well as mental and physical stimulation. We also occasionally enjoy car rides to the dog park for extra fun and exercise. Since my yard is unfenced, I have a secure outdoor lead available. If your dog enjoys spending time outside like mine, I’d be happy to accommodate that upon request. For safety and comfort, I also have a crate available and can crate your dog or mine as needed.
