“Elizabeth is absolutely AMAZING!!! We had a last minute change of plans and needed to board our pups over thanksgiving and she was quick to respond and accept the reservation. She not only came out to greet us, she helped me get both dogs and their things out of the car. Throughout the week she sent us constant updates of their shenanigans with both cute and funny pictures of them. I asked for a specific photo of one dog for instagram and she did a whole little photo shoot! Pretty much every day she took them to the greenway down the road for 1-2 mile walks and even helped work on their leash manners. If you need your dog boarded with someone you know you can trust, book with Elizabeth. We will be using her every time we go back to the mountains!!!”

A little about me--I have had a love for animals since I was young, and I find that I have always felt most at home surrounded by our furry, four-footed family over the years. We have had animals all my life, and we have raised several breeds of dogs including Dalmatian, Cocker Spaniel, Blue and Red Heelers, Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, Boxer, Standard Poodles, Great Pyranees, and many more loveable mixed breeds. I have taken care of dogs and puppies since I was 5 years old. They were always like family to me, and I have many years of experience of their care and basic command training for puppies using positive reinforcement. I have experience caring for sick and senior dogs as well as every canine that has come into our family has found their forever home and lived out their fullest lives possible. If your pup needs some freshening up, a haircut, or a pedicure, I can help with that. I am a professional pet stylist and member of the NDGAA. I have continued education through NDGAA workshops and worked full-time at a pet salon for a few years while also grooming my own dogs, Standard Poodles, their whole lives (14 years.) I can bathe or groom your dog or trim their nails if needed. I currently work part-time, and I have quite a bit of extra time to care for your pups and kitties. Wednesdays and Sundays are our busiest days, so I will not be able to offer pickup on those days, but the other days are open. I have a fenced yard, and I will leash your dog on walks for extra care. They are free to be downstairs in my home with me and our family, and I will kennel for their safety when and if we leave the home for short errands. For pet care in their home, I can take on walks, let outside into fenced yard, feed, water, and bathe/groom the dogs or trim nails if needed. I also have trained several puppies basic commands using clicker-training and positive reinforcement.

“Kim and her daughter took excellent care of our sweet cat named Alice. They visited her daily, rain or shine. Alice is very social and loves attention. They gave her plenty of petting, freshen her bowls of water, refilled dry food, gave wet food, and treats. They also scooped her litter box daily. “Going forward we’ll be leaving our dog with Danita when we come to the Smoky Mountains. It was as if our pup was spending another day in our home while we were away. Yesterday she was nervous about entering the house, but was more relaxed about it today and spent the day napping with other dogs on a rug on hardwood rather than a dank kennel with a bare concrete floor. Danita worked with us on scheduling and provided updates about how things were going with pics. Overall it was a positive experience and was much better than daycare at a vet.”

About: I have loads of experience! From fostering dogs to being a licensed vet tech of 10 years!!! I decided I wanted a different direction and starting my own business and pet sit on the side. I'm loving every second of it! I work from home so taking care of your baby will fit right into my schedule. I can do whatever is needed and more! Just ask! I prefer to care for animals in their homes where they are comfortable, but if they are good with other dogs/peope/ and cats they can come to mine. About: I’ve taken care of dogs all shapes, breeds and sizes! I’ve also taken care of a plethora of other animals. I’m comfortable bathing, dogs, and the occasional cat. I’m currently in school online and am raising a toddler alongside my husband and family on the same property. I also have 2 dogs, 2 horses and a bunch of other little critters I take care of daily. We don’t have a super set schedule, but things always get done. Although, if I’m given a schedule I will follow it to a T!
