I am comfortable adminstering medicine through food or using a pill pusher or pill pockets. Growing up one of my cats had issues with her kidneys and I administered her pills with a pusher as it was the only way to reliability know she received her life saving medicine every morning. I have a young cat of my own who is a bit on the spunky side but I love him reguardless of all the sass! At the SPCA I made sure all our cats in the facility were fed and had a clean kennel. I have had many dogs and many cats throughout my life as well as rescued more animals than I can count. I have a masters in mental health counseling but worked alongside a veterinarian throughout college. I currently have 6 dogs and 4 cats of my own, which most of them were strays I found. I truly believe animals are our children and they deserve to be loved and cared for as such. I am detail oriented and can ensure your baby(s) will be well taken care of. I currently am not working, so I am home full time. I recently got engaged, and my fiancé is military so I have lots of free time to help with whatever it is you may need! I have personally never crated my animals, but if it is what you prefer I will do that. We do have a very large yard with no neighbors, but I don’t even let my own dogs run around unsupervised. I did build a small fenced area in the back that attaches to a dogggy door in the house just so they can go out in emergency situations. My animals are allowed on furniture and of course sleep in the bed to get all the cuddles. I’ve been lucky to never have issues with chewing or accidents but I know all animals are different. I can truly accommodate to anything to make sure your pet is well taken care of.

About: I have had dogs, all my life, from Chihuahuas up to German Shepards. I’ve had dogs who have had diabetes and cancer from the time they were puppies up to adult seniors. My dogs are my family, and they are spoiled rotten! I am retired and stay at home most of the time. I’ve fostered multiple litters of kittens, including bottle feeding, scheduled care, and neonatal support (including stimulation for bathroom and feeding routines), so I’m very comfortable with young or high needs animals. I also have hands on experience caring for dogs, including a family chocolate lab that I regularly walked, took on beach trips, transported safely in my vehicle, and maintained consistent feeding and exercise routines for. I’m comfortable managing leash behavior, high energy dogs, and ensuring pets get both physical activity and attention. What sets me apart is my genuine compassion and attentiveness. I treat every pet like my own and take the time to understand their personality, needs, and comfort level. Treating any animal I encounter humanely is my calling. It is humans responsibility to care for them. I’m a substitute teacher, so I’m able to plan my days around the pets I’m caring for. I have a huge backyard that isn’t completely fenced, but property behind it. No smoking or people coming in/out for any reasons.
About: I absolutely LOVE cats, but I love dogs as well! I grew up with a cat that I was extremely close to, and now and I have a little one of my own. Though I have never owned a dog myself, I am comfortable around them, have petsit dogs and am more than happy to take care of one! My family used to travel for extended periods of time growing up and I would be so anxious about our pets being at home alone, even though they were being taken care of. I understand that anxious feeling and can definitely offer you peace of mind when you're away. I will be super interactive with your pet and play with them as much as they'd like! It's important to give them lots of attention and love when you are away. Though I am busy with school, I can do many things on my own time, making my schedule very flexible. This is how I am able to fit pet care into my daily routine! I will always keep my home and your home safe for pets! I am careful about what I leave in the open that pets have access to and I always refresh food and water, making sure to keep them in an appropriate location. I will always double-check fencing in the yard to make sure all pets are secure with no possibility of escaping.

About: Growing up I lived on a livestock farm so my life for animals came natural and at a very early age. I previously worked as a Vet Tech and still currently volunteer for a local rescue, which is how I got 2 of my babies! I would love to keep your loved companions safe and comfortable while you relax on vacation or take care of business for work. I have a completely open schedule at the moment. I can do potty breaks /walks or over night stays for as long as is needed. I have a fenced in yard in a quite neighborhood. Plenty of toys and blankets for everyone and only the best quality dog food and treats. I also have two very friendly dogs of my own but could keep separate if you prefered. I have no limits for space in my house so furniture and such is fair game. I just want them to be comfortable and feel safe.

About: I am an active triathlete, so your pet will have plenty of exercise and entertainment! My own dog is a pitbull mix, so I have experience with aggressive breeds and large breeds. My family dog I take care of when my parents travel is a senior, so I have experience with senior care. I work a hybrid schedule, and days I am home are very flexible as well as weekends. For a typical home sitting job I will do a morning walk and breakfast, midday walk during my lunch, and evening meal and walk. If your dog cannot sleep alone, I can bring them to my home to sleep in a large crate with a clean bed. I am very active, so whether you have a fenced in yard or a neighborhood or would allow me to drive your dog to a nearby trail, they'll have engagement while you are away. I am also proficient in belly rubs, so your dog will have cuddles and comfort. If your dog comes to my home, I have a fenced in yard they can run in while my dog enjoys his sunbathing. In my home dogs are crated while I am away for their safety.
