“Kathy and her crew took extra special care of our boy Nikko. He will be returning to his favorite spot soon. She has a wonderful outdoor area and furry friends to keep your special ones company.”

“Jamie was literally amazing! Zulu enjoyed her time THOROUGHLY! I got picture and text updates frequently on a daily basis and I think she even cut my dogs nails lol which if so was very thoughtful and highly appreciated! She came back a happy pup and also whined a little when Jamie left so we’ll definitely be returning clients! Love, Love, Loveee Jamie!”

“Brittany provided exceptional care for my two dogs, Renzo and Lolo, and the entire experience was wonderful from start to finish. She was attentive, caring, and made sure they felt comfortable and loved while they were in her care. It was clear that she genuinely enjoys working with animals and treated my boys as if they were her own. Renzo and Lolo came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for, which gave me great peace of mind. I truly appreciated the communication and attention she provided throughout their stay. I would highly recommend Brittney to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter. The boys can't wait to spend time with her again! 🐾💕”

“Rachel is amazing so knowledgeable! I am so pleased with everything my Bruno learned while with her! I could tell she paid so much attention to him because she pointed out things about him that I hadn’t mentioned, but things I knew about him. I’m so grateful for a sitter and trainer all in one! I’m very impressed with Rachel. We’ve found our person!”

“Anamika took amazing care of our dog Rocky. We were so happy with the level of care he received. I was not worried at all. I really hope he can stay with her again!!!”

About: I have spent my whole life around dogs. My dad was a dog trainer in Alaska so I was able to learn a lot from him over the years. Since then my family has had our own dog which sadly passed away a year ago after 12 sweet years together. We have dog sat for friends and family over the years as our home makes a great space for dog sitting, but have not professionally dog sat before until now. We work from home so your pup will rarely be on their own. We also have a fenced back yard so they can play outside safely! We have three daughters that love to play with dogs so they will keep them perfectly entertained. We enjoy family walks in our neighborhood that your pup would join us on! We currently have no other pets after our sweet dog passed away a year ago. We miss having a dog in our home but aren’t ready for a new permanent pup so Rover seemed like a wonderful idea for our family. Your dog will be treated as our own with our girls being able to play with your pup in our fenced back yard.
“Carrie is wonderful with my old, eccentric girl. She sends lots of updates and pics/videos, so I know my little girl is thriving. This was Minnie’s second stay with Carrie, and she settled in quickly. It’s such a relief to find such a perfect second home for our little Min!”

About: Hi! I'm a dependable and caring animal lover who treats every pet like they're my own. I've had a few pups of my own over the years, including my precious baby, Marlowe, who has taught me so much about patience, training, and the unconditional love our pets give us. Whether it's a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I'm attentive to each pet's unique personality and routine, and I'm happy to follow any special instructions, including medications, feeding schedules, and exercise needs. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member, and I would be honored to give them the same love, attention, and care l'd want for my own pets. I'm currently a stay-at-home wife, so I'm home most of the day and able to give your pet lots of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship. Dogs in our care are rarely left alone for more than 2-4 hours. Cur home is a cozy, pet-friendly single-family home with a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. We have a 2-bedroom, 1-bath home that's clean, comfortable, and designed with our own dog, Marlowe, in mind. Marlowe is an almost 2-year-old Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix who is incredibly friendly and loves meeting other dogs. We allow her on the furniture and bed because she's part of our family, but she usually chooses to sleep in her crate with the door open. We also take safety seriously by "Marlowe-proofing" areas of our home and limiting access to certain rooms when we're away. It's just my husband and me in the home, creating a calm, low-stress environment for visiting pets. While our neighborhood isn't ideal for long walks, we love taking dogs on walks in downtown areas for new sights, smells, and exercise. Whether your pup enjoys playtime in our fenced yard or relaxing indoors, they'll receive plenty of love, attention, and care while they're with us.
“Lipika was an amazing dog sitter for Oreo and Mocha! She took the time to understand their dietary needs and walking habits, ensuring they were comfortable and well cared for. Both dogs were happy, well-fed, and got plenty of exercise under her care. Her attention to detail and genuine love for animals truly set her apart. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Ashley help our grumpy old Westie feel right at home. He was so comfortable he wanted to stay! She sent updates asked questions and made us feel we good about leaving him with her. We will definitely call on her again. Thanks!!”

“Kim S. Did such a fantastic job boarding our baby for 10 nights! I couldn’t be happier with her service! Our Mozzie was so well cared for and had so much fun with her other pups I was worried he wouldn’t want to come home 😉 Thank you Kim for loving our boy while we were gone. He can’t wait for us to go on another trip so he can stay with you!”

“Sindhu and her family loved our boys like their own. She sent lots of pictures and a video, and our pups were clearly having a great time! We will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Omg Shaunice saved me! I learned that my current sitter was leaving the state and couldn't keep Poundcake. I was worried I wouldn't find a sitter in enough time. She came through and was amazing with my pup. She was caring and sweet with him and sent tons of pics and videos. The pics were AMAZING. It was like Poundcake was having a photoshoot. He got to go to the dog park and make new fur friends. I am excited to have found my new pet sitter and will definitely book again!”
“Nancy was a blessing 🙏We were so fortunate to be able to find her. She and her family looked after our precious little fella impeccably! She met us straight away to see if we were a good fit and kept communicating throughout with photos and comments. He adjusted so quickly and fit in like part of their family. I could see from the photos how much care and love they gave him and the freedom he always had to roam in the garden, rest anywhere and the safety he felt with them be g at home! Thank you again Nancy! I’m sure Corey is looking forward to kisses and cuddles again soon 🫶🤗🥰”

“Maggie was a great find on Rover! She is close by; very attentive to our and our doxipoo’s needs while she stayed at Maggie’s home for a week. She sent many pictures and provided updates regularly. Would definitely use her services again! 5 star!!”

“Itzel was so great with our pup. She was very communicative and sent pics every day. We could tell she loved him and he was taken care of while he was there. Thanks so much!”

About: I provide a true home-away-from-home experience. I intentionally keep the number of boarding dogs small so every guest receives personalized attention, plenty of playtime, and lots of affection. Dogs stay in a safe, family environment instead of a crowded boarding facility, and I treat every dog like one of my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your best friend, so I provide daily photo updates and make sure every dog feels comfortable, loved, and cared for throughout their stay. I am currently in nursing school and have a pretty flexible schedule. Thankfully, a lot of my schooling is done from home with the exception of in person clinicals, but your furry friend will always have someone here with them! Rather than caring for large groups of dogs, I host only one family’s dogs at a time. This creates a calmer, safer environment and allows me to provide truly personalized care. Guests enjoy supervised play in a securely fenced yard, plenty of indoor time, and the same love and attention my own dogs receive. My goal is for you to relax on your trip knowing your best friend is safe, happy, and right at home.
“Mike has watched my 2 dogs twice now and I feel they are very well taken care of. I get daily updates with pictures of my dogs out walking and getting play time. I would highly recommend Mike if you need a pet sitter, we will definitely use him again. Thank you.”

“Kevin was fantastic! Very quick to respond both leading up to the stay and throughout my dog Oscar's stay with him. He has a great backyard which was perfect for Oscar who can be a bit reactive on walks. And he really seems to have a deep love for all dogs! Oscar came back tired and happy!”

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs for over 15 years and genuinely love spending time with animals of all kinds. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or shy and prefers a quieter approach, I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. About: I’ve raised 2 dogs of my own since they were puppies and one is now a senior. I am more of a morning person for sure but I am very flexible. I have a fenced in front and back yard which makes it easy to let dogs outside. I am also very active so walking or running is no problem.
“Jeremy is great! Took good care of my two cats while I was out of town. My girl cat was even social with him and she really never likes to come out for anyone that isn’t me (she will eat once the sitter leaves). Great communication.”

We will definitely be booking again next time!”

“Kathy is so sweet & very attentive with my dog. She's also great at communication, which I've found to be a rare occurrence on Rover. She cares for other dogs while keeping mine, but I would never know if she hadn't told me! She sends pics throughout the day & promptly updates time cards. She's so compassionate & truly cares for my fur baby's wellbeing. I highly recommend Kathy!”

“Lyndsey is WONDERFUL with Molly. She’s very loving and kind and is very knowledgeable regarding proper care of our pets. Molly comes home very happy and tired. She always has a great time!!”

She also has her own Yorkie named Jethro, who has become my girls' favorite new friend. Debora has been great about working around my schedule. “Caitlin was absolutely amazing with my dog. She spent a lot of quality time with her, long walks and a lot of attention. She sent so many pictures and detailed information for each walk! This was our first time with Rover and was nervous on how our dog would respond because she was from a shelter. Well she absolutely loved Caitlin and was so happy when she would come to walk her ! I’m a veterinary assistant so I have vast knowledge about cat & dogs medical needs. I can confidently administer medications, including insulin. I have two very sweet cats at home that do well with other dogs. I have a “fear free” approach to care provided in your home, including animal pheromone therapy, patience/gradient touch, food motivation, respect of boundaries and positive vibes.
About: Hello, my name is Sophia, and I’ve grown up in a household full of pets, both big and small. I have extensive experience with cat and dog sitting and truly enjoy caring for animals. Throughout college, I cared for pets of all kinds, including puppies. I’m very active and love spending time outdoors, so your pets will receive plenty of attention and playtime. I’ve built lasting relationships with regular clients over the years and am always happy to care for returning pets, giving you peace of mind while you’re away on trips or outings. I recently graduated and currently work remotely for an internship, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I’m able to spend plenty of time with pets throughout the day, even while working on my laptop. I’m not someone who sits still for long, so your pets will receive lots of attention, care, and companionship. At home, I currently have one cat and three dogs who are all very loved and well cared for. As someone who enjoys being outdoors, I make sure my pets get plenty of walks and activity even when it’s cold or raining! We also have a backyard and access to a nearby park for extra fun. When caring for your pet, I would ensure they are well fed, comfortable, and fully adjusted to the routine you set, so they receive the care they need to be their happiest.
About: Hello! Thank you for checking out my profile. I hope you find what you are looking for here, and please feel free to reach out if you have further inquiries. I typically to respond to customers (both present and potential!) within 30 minutes between the hours of 7 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. My name is Samm, I am 29 years old & live in downtown Kannapolis, and I'm the licensed & insured sitter you've been searching for! While there are many great sitters on Rover, what sets me aside from others is I am licensed and insured (privately- beyond the "Rover Guarantee"). Your safest and most secure bet for your pet will always be with me- check out my reviews! I have been professionally using Rover since 2015. I built my client base in Charlotte and loved every single one of my clients- both pups and parents. I took a hiatus due to COVID and moved from south Charlotte to Kannapolis, and am now opening my services back up to welcome in new clients in the area. While many Rover sitters specialize in dogs, I have experience with all walks of life when it comes to pets- dogs, cats, fish (saltwater and freshwater tanks), birds (including fowl such as chickens, geese, ducks, etc.), reptiles and amphibians (yes even snakes!) so rest assured that whatever pets you have, they will be in loving and experienced hands when in my care. While I am not a paid dog trainer, I do love to work with my clients puppies (young and old) on reinforcing their training as per their parents desires. This ranges from crate training to leash pulling to general obedience, and everything in between. I understand that as a pet parent, you know best for your pup and their home environment. Please do not be afraid to add in special "requests" as such when booking with me. I have a vast amount of experience with senior dogs and dogs who live with disabilities. I am able to administer medications in a timely manner (pills, liquids, and injections) when required, and I am trained in first aid in the event of an emergency. I am currently studying engineering and have a flexible schedule outside of my studies. I would love to fill my spare time doting on your pets! 9 times out of 10, I am able to arrange to accommodate your schedule when given a sufficient notice. I am currently no longer offering overnights or daycare to new clients at my home, as we now have chickens and ducks as pets in our backyard. While our birds are acclimated and unphased by our dogs, there is always a possibility that our birds can trigger a prey drive in unacquainted dogs. While I can survive the heartache of losing a chicken (EVERYTHING hunts chickens around here!), chicken bones can pose a very serious and potentially deadly threat to dogs when ingested. So, for everyone's safety, I am currently only offering services outside of my home. As such, I am available for drop-in visits in your home, walks, as well as house sitting. Please read on for what you can expect out of each type of visit in your home, and as always, reach out at any time for further information if needed. Walks: I offer 30 minute or 1 hour walks. This service is perfect for those who work or are out of the house, but need someone to help with making sure their pet gets exercise and a potty break. 30 minute walks are typically 0.5 miles to 1 mile in distance, sometimes more or less depending upon your dogs size and energy levels. A 1 hour walk is usually ~2 miles. During these visits, my main priority is getting your dog outside and nicely tired out so you can enjoy your day uninterrupted. I will make sure your dog gets a potty break while we are out, so all you have to worry about afterwards is where your dog wants to take their nap :) Drop-In Visits: I currently offer 30 minute and 1 hour drop-in visits. This is typically what an owner will book me for if they are out of town and need a sitter to drop in and make sure the household and pets are doing well. During this time, my first priority is medication administration, if applicable. Second to that in priority is ensuring your pup gets to relieve themselves. Please specify if you prefer your dog use your yard, or if you would like for us to take a stroll around the neighborhood. I take 15-20 minutes of walk or backyard play for 30 minute visits, and about 30-40 minutes for hour visits. The remainder of my visit will be to replenish food and water, give treats, pets, and attention, and clean up any messes that may have occurred. Please note that this is MY general outline- if you have a different routine you'd like me to follow that works better for you and your pet, simply notify me of such and I will be more than happy to follow your procedures. House Sitting: I will be staying overnight in your home and provide daily care and company for your pets and home. I will provide my own food, toiletries, personal items, etc., so you will only have to worry about and focus on gathering what your pet needs while you are away. Please note that I will not be at your home 24 hours a day. I will likely have to leave for class or to tend to my pets at home. If you need constant care at home for your pet, I am able to arrange for that to happen at an additional cost- please just let me know in your original booking inquiry. With a house sitting booking, you can expect me to perform all the everyday activities your pet requires. This includes timely administration of medications, sticking to your desired feeding routine, and as many walks and playtimes as you desire. Please let me know the desired duration of walks/play as I do not want to overexert your pet, or alternatively, not give them enough exercise. Light housekeeping will be performed- plants will be watered, mail will be taken in daily, sweeping/vacuuming fur and dirt, and general cleaning up after your pet in the event of messes. I make sure that your home is in the same or better condition as when you left it. I do not smoke or drink and will not be bringing unauthorized persons onto your property. Typically I send one update (accompanied by pet photos) per day around the afternoon. If you would like more- no problem! Just inform me of such and I am happy to keep you as much in-the-loop as you desire.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I work alongside veterinarians in my career, which has given me hands on experience caring for pets of all personalities and needs. Caring for animals is more than a job, it’s something I truly love. I also enjoy pet photography and would be happy to take professional quality photos of your furry friend during their stay! I work Monday through Friday with my afternoons free to spend with your pet. Since I start work early boarding pets get outside for a potty break first thing each morning. I live alone in my own condo with plenty of safe outdoor space nearby for walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks. Your pet will enjoy a calm, comfortable environment with lots of one on one attention. About: I used to work in a Petshotel taking care of dogs and cats. I have a passion for making animals happy and providing them the the proper care they need. I can administer medications in a variety of ways and have been able to monitor multiple dogs at once during playtimes. I have had 10 dogs in my lifetime, and I can't wait to meet even more. I ask that I meet every pet before hand to make sure we will be a good fit before providing services. I recently graduated with my masters, so I am on the hunt for a full time job. Currently my availability is fully open, but is subject to change later. I had dog-sat many of times before and am extremely respectful of other's property and how they choose to take care of their pet. I like to send pictures of people's pets to them while they are away so they can relax knowing they are in good care.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. From a variety of small to big dogs. My friends and family rely on me to keep them during vacation and for some play time when they like to have a break. My weekly pet care routine is fun because I mix responsibility with play. I keep feeding and grooming on a consistent schedule, but I add variety with walks in different places, new toys, and short training games. It helps my pet stay happy and keeps the routine from feeling repetitive. I make sure everything is cleaned and organized so my furry baby is not getting into mess. I keep the doors closed when not in the room. Everything is puppy proofed.

“Sindhu and her family loved our boys like their own. She sent lots of pictures and a video, and our pups were clearly having a great time! We will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Simba had a great time at Karen's residence. He loved their big back yard and her two wonderful children. She kept us updated periodically with Simba's activities and was very responsive.”

“This was Hubert's and Presley's first time using Rover, and Brandon was able to take our request with just a week's notice. Presley tends to be more anxious, but he was comfortable and settled in after just two days! Brandon kept us updated with numerous photos, reassuring us that our boys were in excellent hands. We will definitely be booking again next time!”

“Emilia took very good care of baby Lima, she always kept in touch with me sending photos and videos every day to know how my baby is, that was excellent for me because it was the first time I separated from her and I had the peace of mind to leave him with Emilia. A thousand times I would leave him with her again when I can't take baby Lima on a trip. I recommend 100% and with my eyes closed their service. I am satisfied with their service and I was calm during my trip because Lima was very well taken care of all the time. She's wonderful!! :)”

“Crystal is absolutely AMAZING, hands down the best!!!! It was such a relief knowing our fur baby was in good hands while we were away. Thank you for taking such great care Jada.”
