About: My husband and I have been fostering dogs since February 2023. Sadly (or happily, rather), several of those fosters became foster fails. We went from having 1 dog and 2 cats to 4 dogs and 4 cats…but we wouldn’t have it any other way :) Our 4 cats are all extremely friendly and loving. Charlie is 6, Harley is 3, and Sweet Potato and Clementine just turned 1. Every single one of our dogs is a rescue. Molly is 9 months, Banjo is 7 months, Mia is 10-12 years, and Georgie is 8-10 years. Molly & Banjo were rescued with Paws of the Pines Rescue based in Southern Pines, NC. Mia & Georgie are a sister duo that we found dumped in the woods, and are the best senior pups we’ve ever encountered. My husband and I care deeply for all animals and do this because we love it, not for the money. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’re in need of care. We will do what we can to serve you! I (Megan) wake up at 4:30 daily to let the dogs out, walk them, and feed them breakfast. I leave for work at 6. Jacob then wakes up and cares for the dogs until he leaves for work at 7. The dogs are crated until we come home. After work they engage in another walk, training, puzzles, you name it, and are highly active until bedtime around 9. The cats have an automatic feeder and water fountain. They love lounging around in the living room if the dogs are calm. All 4 cats are friendly and curious. Harley hangs around outside most of the day and the orange brothers are in and out as they please. Charlie is mostly indoors with the occasional peek at the outside world. Pets that enter my home will remain in the main living area with the puppies. The cats in my home are free to roam through the whole house. Dogs will need to be crate trained and okay other pets. I will accommodate their meals according to the owners’ requests. We are an active family, so walks are common!

About: I was raised with a variety of cats and dogs for 25 years, volunteered in a shelter while I was in school, and helped with herpetological demonstrations and assisted with their care. The last few years I have had further opportunity to care for coworkers' pets as I house sat for fellow nurses traveling . I have sat for everything from dogs and cats to lizards, snakes, fish, rabbits, even horses, pigs, goats, and chickens. I work as a nurse full time which allows me a relatively flexible schedule for drop in visits over the weekdays and and stretches of time off for longer stays. Flexibility is my motto; I am able to drop by for walks or let them out into the yard if there's fencing, all depending on your preference. I can free feed or work off a schedule, ect. I have worked with everyone from those asking me to just stop by to check the house and take in mail, no pets involved, to another asking for overnight stays with an anxious rescue on a feeding regimen and medication requirements.
About: I've had experience in handling and providing care for cats of all temperaments from my own to working with boarding cats at kennels and the SPCA. I am comfortable adminstering medicine through food or using a pill pusher or pill pockets. Growing up one of my cats had issues with her kidneys and I administered her pills with a pusher as it was the only way to reliability know she received her life saving medicine every morning. I have a young cat of my own who is a bit on the spunky side but I love him reguardless of all the sass! At the SPCA I made sure all our cats in the facility were fed and had a clean kennel. About: I’ve had experience dog sitting my sisters dogs since I was 17 years old, and I’m currently 28. I have also been responsible for taking care of my cousins three cats, and my aunts two indoor cars, and several outside animals consisting of cats, dogs, and chickens. I’ve also owned a Labrador, and currently own a calico cat. I also volunteer to host dogs on the weekends that are currently held at Saving Grace. About: Like everyone else on this app, I love dogs, and grew up with German Shepherds However, I started on the rover app because I wanted to provide something I thought was missing… reliable pet care for high energy and athletic dogs. I travel a lot and the last thing I want to worry about is if my 70 pound GSD is wearing out the kind old lady I left her with because that’s who was available. Rest assured, if you leave your dog with me for work or for play, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. Need daily runs or multiple walks a day? Good. We run every day. Need yard play time? Not a problem. Extra belly rubs? Easy. Is your Dog a couch potato? I have a couch and have happy to give rubs and chill out. About: I grew up on a farm and have had dogs all my life. I currently have a boykin spaniel named Colt. I dog sat through college and even worked in vet med. I work full time, but have a flexible schedule most days. I’m able to drop in before 8am, during my lunch, and after work. Weekends tend to be more open. About: I have taken care of many pets since I was a little girl especially dogs. I am a dog owner and so is my family. when my family members leave on trips I take care of all the pets needs like walking feeding and spending quality time I am a mom so my hours are based around school. My hours are from 8:30am to 2:00 pm I feel that is adequate time to give your pets the extra needed attention, love, and exercise they require. Well tending to pets and clients home I make sure the dog will be leashed before heading out doors and making sure that all doors are secure before and after walks. If they are caged or crate I will make sure that they are properly secured.

About: I have been a dog lover my entire life and have cared for dogs since I was about 10 years old. I’ve had the privilege of having many different breeds and mixed breeds as part of my family, so I have a lot of varied experience. You can count on me for happy paws and lots of tail wags! I am available to walk or drop in on your dog during the day on weekdays! The hours would be between 9-12:30 Monday through Thursday. About: I have had animals my whole life. Couldn’t imagine life without them. I have had English Mastiff/Great Danes( not afraid of some drool) to Jack Russell’s. I currently do not have any employment. I’m extremely bored at home. I would like to get out of the house doing something I know I would love. I just recently moved from my parents house where we had four, including a rescue I brought back from an overseas deployment. I also have experience caring for senior pets, including my childhood pet, a 14 year old Siamese in her final years, where I provided comfort, medication support, and close monitoring. I’ve fostered multiple litters of kittens, including bottle feeding, scheduled care, and neonatal support (including stimulation for bathroom and feeding routines), so I’m very comfortable with young or high needs animals. I also have hands on experience caring for dogs, including a family chocolate lab that I regularly walked, took on beach trips, transported safely in my vehicle, and maintained consistent feeding and exercise routines for. I’m comfortable managing leash behavior, high energy dogs, and ensuring pets get both physical activity and attention. What sets me apart is my genuine compassion and attentiveness. I treat every pet like my own and take the time to understand their personality, needs, and comfort level. Treating any animal I encounter humanely is my calling. It is humans responsibility to care for them. I’m a substitute teacher, so I’m able to plan my days around the pets I’m caring for. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits, and I make sure to stay consistent with each pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and cared for. I have no pets or children at home. I have a huge backyard that isn’t completely fenced, but property behind it. No smoking or people coming in/out for any reasons.

About: My husband and I have been fostering dogs since February 2023. Sadly (or happily, rather), several of those fosters became foster fails. We went from having 1 dog and 2 cats to 4 dogs and 4 cats…but we wouldn’t have it any other way :) Our 4 cats are all extremely friendly and loving. Charlie is 6, Harley is 3, and Sweet Potato and Clementine just turned 1. Every single one of our dogs is a rescue. Molly is 9 months, Banjo is 7 months, Mia is 10-12 years, and Georgie is 8-10 years. Molly & Banjo were rescued with Paws of the Pines Rescue based in Southern Pines, NC. Mia & Georgie are a sister duo that we found dumped in the woods, and are the best senior pups we’ve ever encountered. My husband and I care deeply for all animals and do this because we love it, not for the money. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’re in need of care. We will do what we can to serve you! I (Megan) wake up at 4:30 daily to let the dogs out, walk them, and feed them breakfast. I leave for work at 6. Jacob then wakes up and cares for the dogs until he leaves for work at 7. The dogs are crated until we come home. After work they engage in another walk, training, puzzles, you name it, and are highly active until bedtime around 9. The cats have an automatic feeder and water fountain. They love lounging around in the living room if the dogs are calm. All 4 cats are friendly and curious. Harley hangs around outside most of the day and the orange brothers are in and out as they please. Charlie is mostly indoors with the occasional peek at the outside world. Pets that enter my home will remain in the main living area with the puppies. The cats in my home are free to roam through the whole house. Dogs will need to be crate trained and okay other pets. I will accommodate their meals according to the owners’ requests. We are an active family, so walks are common!
