My dog is old, blind and deaf, so I do worry when I go on vacation. If I am not near, he gets very anxious. And it is hard for him to navigate a new place. But after our meet and greet, my own anxiety began to leave. Rachel and Donald sent more than one daily update with pictures. For once, I was not in a hurry to get back home! When I picked him up, he acted like he would have been fine to stay longer. I could tell they loved on and cared for my dog as well as I do. They are also able to come in and hang out inside as well. I do keep all dogs separated when I am not home and/or able to watch them and at meal time just for safety reasons. Ibam a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty open, besides for any appointments i might have to go. The only days i am consistently away from the house are Wednesdays from 10 to 3 and Thursdays from 11 to 6 when im at class. I have a fenced-in yard part of it is what i call my rainy day yard which is truf grass with a 3 ft fence around it ... I also have a 6ft fence around the while back yard for the dry days that make the play space much bigger ... but who wants to play in the rain anyways lol. I do slow introduction with ever new pup that comes in and go at their pace to make sure they feel as comfortable as possible while they are staying with me.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes for most of my life. I have experience in puppies, seniors, diabetic cats and dogs, and have worked in multiple daycare and boarding facilities as well as my local animal shelter. I have also bathed dogs of all sizes for the past 10+ years and can fulfill basic grooming needs. (Baths, nail trims/files, coat brushing, teeth brushing, ear cleaning as well as paw pad and sanitary trims. I am currently available for multiple daily drop-in visits as well as neighborhood walks as needed to suit you and your fur babies potty breaks. To keep your fur babies comfortable, I am available to come to them for play dates and potty breaks as needed. I do own a house and have a fenced in backyard, but at the present time I’m not offering boarding in my home. I do have three dogs and two cats of my own and my female dog is completely dog friendly with all sizes and ages. My two male dogs can be slightly dog selective at times (even with each other) but we are working on this!

Nia works from home and has the ability to provide extra care and attention to those who need it. Between both of our schedules, we are able to provide day services and overnight boarding if needed. I have a large fenced in backyard with 3 very friendly adult/elderly mixed breed dogs to keep them company. All 3 of our dogs have been around other dogs and cats for many years have no bite history.

My other senior pup has discospondylosis so daily medications are something I am very very familiar with as well as being more careful and slower with pups. I currently do part time work from home so I am almost always available to pet sit or board or in home pet sit or even walk your animals. I am a HUGE advocate for animal safety regardless of breed. I love all animals and would never put my dogs or any other animal in harms way.
