It meant so much to see him having that kind of fun and confidence. Megan also kept me updated with daily “doggy report cards” and personalized notes, which were such a thoughtful touch. “This was our first time leaving our little Golden doodle with Samantha. I will say, I was a bit intimidated by leaving him with a pit bull there, but upon meeting the pit bull he was the sweetest big dog ever. My worries immediately vanished! There were a couple other dogs there, so that was nice. There was one dog a bit too interested in my little guy, so I didn’t want to leave until he calmed down. Samantha never made me feel rushed to leave or weird. She was super patient and asking me if I wanted the dogs split up, or inside or outside. I really thought that said a lot about the person I was leaving our baby with and I really liked that. I say all that to say, you can’t always control how dogs will interact with each other, but you can control how you react to them and Samantha was very calm, kind and friendly. She never looked overwhelmed or nervous. She was a bit embarrassed I think because of the initial behavior of this other dog she was caring for, but I understood that wasn’t a reflection of her care. We left out little guy there 3 days and she communicated through the day with updates, sent photos and even went the extra step of boiling and egg to mix it with my dogs food since we do that for him at home too. I’m thankful we found someone to watch our guy for when we need it! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!”

About: Spent my entire life around various types of pets (Cats, Dogs, Reptiles) to include a few exotic animals. I have additionally trained all of my own pets through the years through time and repetition. I love animals and treat them as I would any human. They are after all mans best friend (Doesn't just apply to dogs). I am currently Active Duty Military, however I am available most weekends as well as early morning time frames and later afternoon/evenings. Talk to me about what your needs are and more than likely I can accommodate. I have a decent sized yard with 4 friendly and well trained dogs of my own, if your dog were to be at my house. If Not I have the option to bring one of my furry friends for a play date during a check in or whatever may be required. My dogs range from senior to Junior age group (2 years to 11). Communication is key, you tell me what you need or would like to see and I do what I can to accommodate. Quality care for our friends is what I aim to provide.

About: I have experience working with animals of all breeds/species. I used to work for a boarding/daycare/grooming facility that was also connected to a vets office. I’m familiar with farm animals, dogs, cats, most small pets, and reptiles. I had my own horse for 17 years. Currently I have two German Shepherds who are both 4 years old- so I’m very familiar with working breeds! *I have experience with administering medications and animal first aid* I’m currently a stay at home mom and have full availability. More than likely my son will be with me for drop in visits- but for house sitting, arrangements can be made if necessary! With my two being a working breed we go on a lot of walks, and play a lot of fetch. But they also know how to be couch potatoes! About: Caring for and loving dogs has always been a passion of mine! I have a relaxed and jovial demeanor that they seem to gravitate to. I’ve owned 3 dogs so far of 3 separate weights, so I know how to cater to dogs of different sizes and personalities. I currently live in an apartment with lots of open spaces nearby for playing and walking. I always treat pets (dogs and cats too) in my care as I would my own, which is slightly spoiled but still disciplined. If you give me your trust, I will bring your pup or kitty happier and ready for more playtime! About: I am a true animal lover. I have a level of empathy for pets that most people think is crazy. Your pet is part of your family and will be part of mine as well. I have a lot of love to give. I am more then happy to accept a million phone calls and texts because I know top care is important. I am patient and understanding and take the time to help with house breaking and learn new tricks. I use to breed Siberian huskies. That is one of the most energetic and mischevious breeds out there. I help with a local rescue in rehoming and donations. I am also actively involved with helping take strays to local vets and following up with owners. My family consists of me, my husband and our five children. All three get along with ALL animals, strays, neighbor’s yorkies’, neighbors dogs, etc. We have two acres of yard with a fenced in area that has a dog house, goat house, tree house, etc. which is where he stays. We are an animal loving family. No young kids that harm or hurt in any way. Your pets are guaranteed a “spoiled rotten” experience for sure. Schedule We are home most of the time. We let the pups run around and play inside. We prefer inside dogs over outside dogs, but will take the dogs outside many, many times to walk, run, and play. Just I inform us of their home habits of how often they like to go out. Safety, trust & environment- I am highly protective over the dogs well being. Safety and emotionally. We use leashes when walking/running your dog and to let them out to use the bathroom. Dogs are fed at separate locations to ensure no jealousy and fights. Not to mention stolen food and a hungry pup. The dogs we sit for sleep in the master bedroom. We sleep with the door shut. This is to ensure we can always have eyes and ears on your pup. No accidents or trouble to get into. They seem to like having the constant company around them, even if we are asleep, they know they’re not alone.

About: I’ve taken care of my dog and my aunt’s dog since I was nine. I’m twenty now and both of my fur babies are still kicking, barking, and happy. I’ve always loved animals, even helping to rescue some when I was little such as these two baby ducks and other little birdies and frogs too. In school, my teacher had a pet chameleon and turtle and I always was excited to help feed them. I actually started majoring in Biology at first in college to be a veterinarian or zoologist. I have a different path now to help children but I still have a passion for pets and other beautiful creatures of this Earth. I will take care of your fur babies just like I did mine and love them just as much. I am a college student as mentioned before so my current schedule is MWF and Tues and Thurs to be free after 11:15 am. However, I do live on campus in Norfolk at ODU so I can take business there as well but mainly for dog walking and pet sitting at your residence. I do rely on my mother, brother or friends for transportation but they are willing to help snd be available as needed. Please give me a chance and you won’t regret it. :) I make sure the pets first get to know me, smell me, and recognize me to be comfortable with me. Then, I interact with them more by playing with them and giving them rubs and cuddles so they can feel more connected and comfortable. Then, definitely make sure they eat and drink the right food for their health and nourishment. Then, walk them so they can do their business and get exercise and always make sure they have a leash on. Next, make sure they are groomed and cleaned well and freshen up from the outdoors. Then spend more time with them until our fun is over and they are returned with their beloved owners. I will have a whole day well planned and you and your fur babies will appreciate it. :)

They sit on the couches and sleep in my queen size bed. They have the freedom to run the house and the yard. I work from home. I'm always home and enjoy the company of dogs. My dog and I are best friends, so I only leave my house to shop for food and necessities, such as Kevin's homemade dehydrated chicken breast strips (treats)! I have a fenced in yard and a covered deck. My dog goes in and out as much as he wants. He enjoys sitting in the sun or squirrel watching from the deck. Inside the house, dogs are free to run the whole home and nap on the couches or the bed. In my home, dogs are treated better than humans! Fetch is played inside and outside!

I am more then happy to accept a million phone calls and texts because I know top care is important. I am patient and understanding and take the time to help with house breaking and learn new tricks. I use to breed Siberian huskies. That is one of the most energetic and mischevious breeds out there. I help with a local rescue in rehoming and donations. I am also actively involved with helping take strays to local vets and following up with owners. My family consists of me, my husband and our five children. There is always someone to give love and attention. We keep our own pets somewhat on a schedule and we play a lot in our back yard. I have a large fenced in yard and three very active dogs who enjoy to play. I also have 5 indoor cats. I can easily crate if needed.

About: I have many years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I have a senior dog that I adopted in 2015 and in 2020 I helped raise a puppy from 8 weeks old. They were both raised with kittens as well. Through these experiences, I have learned how to care for different animals of different age groups. We are an animal loving family. No young kids that harm or hurt in any way. Your pets are guaranteed a “spoiled rotten” experience for sure. Schedule We are home most of the time. We let the pups run around and play inside. We prefer inside dogs over outside dogs, but will take the dogs outside many, many times to walk, run, and play. Just I inform us of their home habits of how often they like to go out. Safety, trust & environment- I am highly protective over the dogs well being. Safety and emotionally. We use leashes when walking/running your dog and to let them out to use the bathroom. Dogs are fed at separate locations to ensure no jealousy and fights. Not to mention stolen food and a hungry pup. The dogs we sit for sleep in the master bedroom. We sleep with the door shut. This is to ensure we can always have eyes and ears on your pup. No accidents or trouble to get into. They seem to like having the constant company around them, even if we are asleep, they know they’re not alone.

“This was our first time leaving our little Golden doodle with Samantha. I will say, I was a bit intimidated by leaving him with a pit bull there, but upon meeting the pit bull he was the sweetest big dog ever. My worries immediately vanished! There were a couple other dogs there, so that was nice. There was one dog a bit too interested in my little guy, so I didn’t want to leave until he calmed down. Samantha never made me feel rushed to leave or weird. She was super patient and asking me if I wanted the dogs split up, or inside or outside. I really thought that said a lot about the person I was leaving our baby with and I really liked that. I say all that to say, you can’t always control how dogs will interact with each other, but you can control how you react to them and Samantha was very calm, kind and friendly. She never looked overwhelmed or nervous. She was a bit embarrassed I think because of the initial behavior of this other dog she was caring for, but I understood that wasn’t a reflection of her care. We left out little guy there 3 days and she communicated through the day with updates, sent photos and even went the extra step of boiling and egg to mix it with my dogs food since we do that for him at home too. I’m thankful we found someone to watch our guy for when we need it! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!”
