I have had dogs my entire life. I have taken in numerous dogs from puppies to older dogs. We also rescued kittens and cared for them from birth to old age. About: I started taking care of the family dog a few years ago. With him, I administered medication in a positive way and helped train him. I am comfortable using a harness and a regular collar. I also helped train my senior dog on his reactivity with positive reinforcement. Currently, I am on summer break. I work as a teacher during the school year, so my availability for the next few months is open. At my apartment, my roommate’s dog I take out every 2-3 hours and I give him lots of cuddles. About: Hello! My name is Jenna. I am a 26 year old graduate student at Wake Forest and a registered nurse. I have a 4 year old Newfoundland-Bernese Mountain Dog mix named Phoebe who I love more than anything, and she is very friendly with other animals and other people. She would love more company! I know I want the best care possible for her when I am not able to do so. I want to be there for your pets when they deserve genuine care in the absence of you. Most importantly, I want YOU to be comfortable with who you choose to leave caring for your pets, because they are truly a part of your family. I have taught Phoebe tricks, I run with her, I brush and bathe her daily, feed and water her daily, and walk her every day for about an hour by the trail next to my house. I take great caution to assure the animals under my care are happy and healthy. I am very sociable, outgoing, and organized. My availability is very flexible throughout the day :) I won’t be away for longer than 4-6 hours at a time if I need to go to school in person for certain things, run errands, or study :) I will follow your lead in how you would like me to care for your dog and understand their schedule as best I can so they can still feel like they are in a routine! We will walk, play, and spend time together all day long.

I'm able to spend the majority of the weekdays with them and can spend all the time on in the evenings and weekends. I'm also available to check in or stay with your animals while you are in town for vacation and need coverage for a few hours. Their safety is my top priority while you are away. I keep a good eye on them and don't like to by physically away from them for long as I know it can be a hard transition sometimes.

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life. From German Shepards to cockapoos and puppies to seniors, I learned how to bond, care for, and play with dogs. I have loved them my entire life! I’m a college student home for summer break! I’m working a part time job so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with pets! As a college student, I can’t have big animals in my dorm but I’ve missed seeing dogs and cats in my daily life! Your pets safety is the number one priority to me. I will ensure to follow any set guidelines and standards you have in place for your pet in your home.
