Putting my dog in a cage for days is NOT what we wanted. But Maribel was our answer. She loved on Gracie, played with her, texted us with pictures, and when we picked her up, she was not traumatized. About: I grew up with dogs and have experience giving oral medication, injections (insulin) & IVs under the skin. My Layla passed away in 2017 from encephalitis and she had to get IVs every day on top of other things. We got Bruce in 2018 & Rocky in 2019. They are two peas in a pod..I call them Batman & Robin. They are great with other dogs as my husband and I have had many different breeds and sizes at our home. If your fur baby gets dirty playing in the yard, we will give the a bath (with your permission of course). They will go on daily walks, have a lot of play time since I work from home and I will make sure to send you photos and updates throughout their stay. Communication is extremely important to me. We look forward to meeting you and your furbabies! I am a real estate professional and run a team here in the Triad. I work from home and have the time to care for your fur baby as a majority of my work is from my computer. I never let other people’s dogs stay outside unsupervised. If they are outside, I am outside. It’s an extra step of care that is super important to me because sometimes, animals can be unpredictable, see a squirrel or a rabbit and jump the fence etc. We ensure your fur baby is safe.

About: I’ve been a vet tech for about 5 years. Before that, I managed a pet boarding facility. I grew up on a farm, so I’ve been caring for dogs and cats all my life. Im a toddler mom, and I currently work as an emergency vet tech so I’m great at keeping calm in stressful situations. About: I have met so many awesome fur babies working through Rover and I love each and every one of them. It's always so much fun getting to know a new pet friend especially dogs. I have had dogs my entire life. I have taken in numerous dogs from puppies to older dogs. We also rescued kittens and cared for them from birth to old age. I have experience caring for puppies and kittens and elderly pets with complex health issues. I just love animals and I've passed on that love for animals to my children. This isn't just a job for me it's my happy place. Your babies will be treated like family while they are in my care and I update you every step of the way. I have a large dog crate available if you want your pup crated just let me know otherwise they are free to roam around as they please. About: I started taking care of the family dog a few years ago. With him, I administered medication in a positive way and helped train him. I am comfortable using a harness and a regular collar. I also helped train my senior dog on his reactivity with positive reinforcement. Currently, I am on summer break. I work as a teacher during the school year, so my availability for the next few months is open. At my apartment, my roommate’s dog I take out every 2-3 hours and I give him lots of cuddles. I keep an eye out for anything around me to make sure it is safe.

Drop-ins are perfect for feeding, potty breaks, walks, litter box care, playtime, and plenty of love while you’re away. Even with my teaching career, pet care is a big part of my life. I take it seriously (while still having fun with your pets), and I’m committed to making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved until you get home. When you share instructions for your pet’s care, I follow them closely — after all, you know your pet best. I provide detailed updates after each visit (with plenty of pictures!) so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. I’m happy to walk your pet around the yard or through the neighborhood, provide playtime if that’s what they enjoy, and crate them in the morning or at night if that’s part of their routine. My goal is simple: give you complete peace of mind while providing your pet with the same level of love, attention, and care they get from you.
About: I am an animal lover at heart and currently own rats, tropical fish, and an angora rabbit. I have 15 years of experience pet walking and sitting. Throughout the years I've had many pets ranging from cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, small pets, and am comfortable giving medication as needed. Fostering has also been a part of my life, so pets with special needs are no problem! I am comfortable around pretty much any animal, so send me a message and we'll see how I can help! Afternoons and evenings work best for pet care -walking, playing, giving medication, etc., as I have an online business that I focus on in the mornings. Multi-day care is an option, but being married, overnights will need to be discussed. I'm very comfortable handling all size animals, from small mice up to great danes. Every animal is different, so we move at their speed and comfort levels - if they're excitable with lots of energy, we can do lots of walks and playtime. If they're more laid back and just like someone to be around, I can bring a book or knitting project for a gentle hangout.
