About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. With the limited hours available there, I thought we could try this avenue as well. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. We love walking dogs, playing fetch, petting them, and providing lots of love. We enjoy playing with cat toys, and giving them plenty of attention as well.

I am home most of the time, except when I host overly-complex board games at the Hickory Library or the Highland Rec Center -- and those sessions are at most 3 hours long. About: Cared for dogs, cats, and various farm animals for many years in a variety of contexts. 31 years old Born and raised in Wilkes county, Appstate grad, traveled the world working on farms, taking care of children, and playing/caring for animals all the while Since I'm a teacher, I am very free during the summer, weekends, and during all the other breaks in the school schedule. About: My family has animals and I have spent 9 years helping take care of their dogs and two cats. I have two dogs of my own and I have trained them myself as well as knowing when they need space, fed, or walked. About: I have taken care of animals ever since I was younger. I would get paid to walk dogs around my neighborhood and to check on cats. I love hanging out and loving on all animals! Being in college, it makes it hard to have one of my own, but this will allow me to opportunity to be around all the animals that I love! I treat and love your pets as if they are my own! At school there is plenty of grass for the dogs to run around and I am able to bring the crate and everything into my apartment if needed. We go on walks and I have a long chain for the dogs to explore the yard with. I live in a safe neighborhood with no worries or issues. I treat the dogs like family. They can be on furniture and I normally do not crate my dog. If yours needs crated I have a spare room so they can feel safe and not upset not being with my dog.
