She is the first sitter we've ever taken our 7.5 month old PJ to so my husband and I were apprehensive because we've only had him 4 months. PJ, although so adorable and very loving, is very hyper and feisty when he sees people and other animals. We are still learning his habits and behaviors so this was our first sitter-test. When we got to Ashley's home, we were greeted by Ashley and Cheyenne. To our surprise, PJ was so happy to see them! He jumped out of the car, went to them, and never turned around to say goodbye - our feelings were hurt, but that was the reassurance we needed to enjoy our time visiting with family for the day and night - we were not worried at all! Ashley even took the time to send us pictures of PJ interacting with the entire family (people and fur family members) and gave us the feedback we need regarding PJ's behavior with others. We will definitely be visiting with Ashley whenever we are in Rocky Mount. I actually wish we lived in the same town so we could have play dates and family outings together. About: I’ve worked at a pet boarding and grooming facility for the last 2 years, and have done volunteering and sitting previously. I’ve cared for many dogs ranging from 8 weeks to in their late senior years. I have experience with disabled dogs as well as administering medication by mouth. I’m currently working and in school part time, so I have some extra time throughout the week and weekends! I am available any weekday except Wednesdays and Fridays. When I’m not in school or working, I would love to care for your pup! I would follow the feeding instructions, making sure your pup has food and water at all necessary times. About: For as long as I could remember I’ve been my family’s go-to pet sitter. Anytime my Grandmother had a doctors appointment or my Aunt and Uncle left town, I would be their first choice. I love animals and caring for them, making them comfortable when their families are gone is not an easy task but easing their anxiety and keeping them comfortable is a very rewarding job. I’ve worked with rover in the past when I was in high school and it was a great experience. I am currently working part time but my schedule is relatively flexible. About: I am from Colombia and there I had the opportunity to work with him, in a family veterinarian where I learned a lot. Here in the United States I have been taking care of dogs and cats at home several times. It is important, since animals are part of my life and always will be, I also dream of one day having the money to be able to give a good life to several animals that currently live in a shelter. I’m reliable and can adjust to your pet’s routine to make sure they get consistent care, attention, and exercise. My dog can be a bit jealous around other animals, so for safety I’m most comfortable providing care in the client’s home, as well as walks and drop-in visits. I always follow instructions closely, pay attention to each pet’s needs and behavior, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m also open to overnight stays and prefer to meet beforehand to build trust and make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.
About: I have had various experiences with dogs and cats. I grew up around animals. I have dog sit and cat sit for friends and families for multiple years now and am very reliable. I have let sit for large dogs that are in older age and needs special care. I have also pet sit for multiple pets at once. It was a small dog and 2 cats. We went in walks, had cuddles, and played games. We even got to play with some toys. I am currently on summer break from teaching and am completely free. About: For as long as I could remember I’ve been my family’s go-to pet sitter. Anytime my Grandmother had a doctors appointment or my Aunt and Uncle left town, I would be their first choice. She is the first sitter we've ever taken our 7.5 month old PJ to so my husband and I were apprehensive because we've only had him 4 months. PJ, although so adorable and very loving, is very hyper and feisty when he sees people and other animals. We are still learning his habits and behaviors so this was our first sitter-test. When we got to Ashley's home, we were greeted by Ashley and Cheyenne. To our surprise, PJ was so happy to see them! He jumped out of the car, went to them, and never turned around to say goodbye - our feelings were hurt, but that was the reassurance we needed to enjoy our time visiting with family for the day and night - we were not worried at all! About: I’ve always been a lover of animals. I have my own 2 cats and doggo and they’re my whole world. Before that I had family dogs and cats ever since I was young and they were my favorite thing to see when I came home after a long day. I love to workout with people themselves and animals! It benefits everyone to get up and move throughout the day. Plus dogs should get to experience the world around them too! I’m a stay at home mom, I am expecting our first baby in December. So once the baby is here, I may take a break for a little bit, but I’ll be back! I’m available to walk during typical business hours while my husband is working. I have a two story spacious home with a large fenced in backyard! Our bedroom is on the first floor so even if the dogs are older, they wouldn’t need to go up any stairs. I have a loving dog that will play and run around with them and 2 cats! One is super friendly and will play with them. The other is a little more timid and will most likely just hide.
