“Ashley (and her family) are wonderful, amazing, trustworthy, loving, compassionate, and overall phenomenal! She is the first sitter we've ever taken our 7.5 month old PJ to so my husband and I were apprehensive because we've only had him 4 months. PJ, although so adorable and very loving, is very hyper and feisty when he sees people and other animals. We are still learning his habits and behaviors so this was our first sitter-test. When we got to Ashley's home, we were greeted by Ashley and Cheyenne. To our surprise, PJ was so happy to see them! He jumped out of the car, went to them, and never turned around to say goodbye - our feelings were hurt, but that was the reassurance we needed to enjoy our time visiting with family for the day and night - we were not worried at all! Ashley even took the time to send us pictures of PJ interacting with the entire family (people and fur family members) and gave us the feedback we need regarding PJ's behavior with others. We will definitely be visiting with Ashley whenever we are in Rocky Mount. I actually wish we lived in the same town so we could have play dates and family outings together. Mitzi and her kids are wonderful with our two dogs and she took the time to send us both photos and videos while we were away which made a huge difference in our being able to enjoy a vacation. Our schnoodle, Tink, takes some time to warm up to people and Mitzi made sure that she was comfortable and waited for her to approach (and coached her son to do the same). They're now part of Tink's circle of trust. Our pomeranian, Tilley, can be a handful - but they embraced her energy and made sure that she also had a safe place when she needed it and followed all of our instructions about feeding them separately as Tilley tends to overeat. Without question - the absolute best people that we have ever found on Rover and you can completely trust your fur babies with them.”

About: For as long as I could remember I’ve been my family’s go-to pet sitter. Anytime my Grandmother had a doctors appointment or my Aunt and Uncle left town, I would be their first choice. I love animals and caring for them, making them comfortable when their families are gone is not an easy task but easing their anxiety and keeping them comfortable is a very rewarding job. I’ve worked with rover in the past when I was in high school and it was a great experience. I am currently working part time but my schedule is relatively flexible. I have my daughter every other week and I have a dog that can be kept completely separate if needed. I also have plenty of dog toys that are okay to be beaten up. Gates in-house to control pet location. Allowed to get on furniture and bed. We have a big comfy dog bed as well. Two litter boxes are available. Just ask that you bring food, any special toy, litter for cats, and any medicines. I have two tie-out leads for dogs and a shady backyard that is fenced in. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life since I was a kid. I love dogs and my whole family is very dog friendly. I currently have two of my own dogs, Blizzard my 5 year old Goldendoodle and Boomer my 8 year old Beagle. These guys are my best friends! Since rescuing my Goldendoodle Blizzard, I’ve also learned to bathe & groom him, a special skill that takes practice and patience. I work from home, so I am able to take care of the dogs and be very flexible with their walking, feeding and bathroom needs. At my house, dogs are welcome on the furniture and on the bed at night but I will respect other owners obedience/rules while caring for their dogs. We have a lot of the room in the house which even has a fun room with toy mountain, a collection of hundreds of dog toys that everyone is welcome to play with! I have a big backyard but it is not fenced in. Instead, I prefer to walk the dogs on leashes/leads or attach them to the dog-run line I have running across the backyard for playtime! I would love the opportunity to watch your dog(s) and can be flexible with short-term or long-term stays plus other accommodations. I will treat your dogs as if they were my own and give them a lot of love and care for their entire stay! About: I’ve taken care of many different breeds of dogs since I’ve been 11. Friends,family and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their fur babies. I have experience with all ages! I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets and give them all of their needs! If that includes letting the wiggles out or needing some relax time..I’m all in! About: I have had various experiences with dogs and cats. I grew up around animals. I have dog sit and cat sit for friends and families for multiple years now and am very reliable. I have let sit for large dogs that are in older age and needs special care. I have also pet sit for multiple pets at once. It was a small dog and 2 cats. We went in walks, had cuddles, and played games. We even got to play with some toys. I am currently on summer break from teaching and am completely free. Due to this the environment is very safe and inviting. In my home it is very calm and clean. This is important just in case your pet has allergies. About: For as long as I could remember I’ve been my family’s go-to pet sitter. Anytime my Grandmother had a doctors appointment or my Aunt and Uncle left town, I would be their first choice. I love animals and caring for them, making them comfortable when their families are gone is not an easy task but easing their anxiety and keeping them comfortable is a very rewarding job. About: I have been around dogs literally my whole life. I don't remember a time since I was born that I didn't have a dog. From sleeping on our pit bull as a toddler to rescuing a shelter baby to keep me company at college dogs have been an amazing part of my story. “Eden was just what we needed to help cover a gap in our schedules. Our dog Carson is strong-willed and strong bodied at 40lbs of solid muscle. Eden had no problem handling both aspects. Carson walked further for longer and put herself straight to bed from exhaustion every night. She truly enjoyed her walks with Eden almost more than she enjoys walking with us! About: I have had dogs my whole life ranging from 175 to 50 pounds. My family also breeds dogs so I’m comfortable with all ages. I have dog sat for numerous family and friends and love all animals so your pet will get treated as if they were my own. I’ve also took care of dogs that take medication, are on special diets. I have a full time job but I make my own schedule so I will base that off of my schedule with rover. Pets will be well taken care of and took on walks. If your pet is more laid back and likes to lay around all day then we will do that. If your pet has a lot of energy and like to run the we can do that as well. I have plenty of yard for your pet/pets to play. I currently don’t have any other animals in the house and am waiting for my puppy to be born! Your pet will be allowed on furniture unless that is a rule you have then I will not go against it. I have plenty of toys, dog beds, and crates if needed.
About: I've taken care of large and small animals all my life, I grew up taking care of my aunt's horses with her, and I've pet sat and house sat for the past couple of years and have been very successful. I am no longer a college student so my schedule is way more open! I love all animals small or large! “Ashley (and her family) are wonderful, amazing, trustworthy, loving, compassionate, and overall phenomenal! She is the first sitter we've ever taken our 7.5 month old PJ to so my husband and I were apprehensive because we've only had him 4 months. PJ, although so adorable and very loving, is very hyper and feisty when he sees people and other animals. We are still learning his habits and behaviors so this was our first sitter-test. When we got to Ashley's home, we were greeted by Ashley and Cheyenne. To our surprise, PJ was so happy to see them! He jumped out of the car, went to them, and never turned around to say goodbye - our feelings were hurt, but that was the reassurance we needed to enjoy our time visiting with family for the day and night - we were not worried at all! Ashley even took the time to send us pictures of PJ interacting with the entire family (people and fur family members) and gave us the feedback we need regarding PJ's behavior with others. We will definitely be visiting with Ashley whenever we are in Rocky Mount. I actually wish we lived in the same town so we could have play dates and family outings together.
