“I left my German Shepherd Beagle Harbour and unfixed Pitbull Ace with Natalie for 4 days and 3 nights. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Upon drop off, she met me right at my vehicle and helped get the boys, their crates, and bags inside. Upon pick up, she did the exact same. Also, to my surprise, both the boys had been bathed and wearing the cutest bandannas. She sent lots of photos and video updates throughout their stay and they always look like they were having a blast. She even let them cuddle in bed with her at night. I have a set time to take my puppy out as he is still going through potty training My apartment is pretty open for the fur babies to room around and I have a small fur baby of my own that can play with! There is a big area of grass around my complex where they can go potty and play and a dog park right up the street.

About: I have had, rescued, and taken care of a wide variety of dogs from smaller malti-poos to a Dane who had been living on the street, was skin and bones, and ended up 188 lbs. Currently I have Pippa, a 7-year-old Labrador who is allergic to chicken, so I make part of her food. I am home most of the time, except when I host overly-complex board games at the Hickory Library or the Highland Rec Center -- and those sessions are at most 3 hours long. I am home most days, except when I am hosting 3-hour board games at the local library and rec center. Otherwise, I take care of our house and rental properties. I have a large fenced yard -- especially-so since my house sits along North Center Street. I also use carabiners to make sure that gates are locked.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for more than 30 years, starting with pet sitting for neighbors when I was in elementary school. While attending college in Raleigh, I expanded my pet sitting work and cared for multiple families with a wide range of pets and personalities. Before moving back to this area, I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility, where I provided daily exercise, supervised play, administered medications—including insulin injections—and made sure each dog felt safe, comfortable, and cared for. My goal is simple: to give your pet dependable care, attention, and companionship while you’re away. Whether that means a walk, playtime, a midday potty break, or extra patience with senior pets, I treat every animal with the same kindness and attentiveness I’d want for my own. I understand that every pet has a different routine and comfort level, and I’m happy to follow your instructions closely so your pet feels secure, happy, and well cared for. I work remotely, so my daytime schedule is flexible and easy to plan around. My weekly routine is generally very consistent, which means I know my availability well in advance and can provide dependable walks, drop-in visits, and midday care without last-minute surprises. Pet care fits naturally into my day—I’m able to step away for walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, or medication visits while still keeping a reliable schedule for both pets and their owners. At this time, I’m not able to offer boarding in my home, but I take caring for pets in their own environment seriously. When I’m in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would expect in my own. I always make sure doors are secure, water bowls are fresh, and pets are safe and comfortable before I leave. I also pay attention to small details—cleaning up any messes, checking that toys are safe, and moving anything that could pose a risk (for example, a torn stuffed toy that could be chewed apart). One of the best compliments I’ve received from a client came after a week-long house sit: they told me, “It never even looked like you were here.” That’s exactly the experience I aim to provide—reliable, attentive care for your pet, and complete peace of mind for you.

About: Ever since I can remember we’ve had a fur friend in the house! My family and I at one point in time fostered fur friends until they could go to their forever home! I have been around and taken care of all kinds of dogs from pit bulls -chihuahuas! I am working part time right now and going to college online to be a speech and language pathologist! The times I work do vary between morning shifts and closing shifts! I want my fur friends and family to feel as safe and cared for as I do in any environment! I want them to feel loved and sometimes extra cuddles are needed… not that I’m complaining! My fur friends get lots of cuddles whenever they want and or need them! It’s important to be mindful of emotions in humans and fur friends!

I have a 10 pound Chihuahua mixed with Jack Russell, also have a redtick hound and a cat. “I left my German Shepherd Beagle Harbour and unfixed Pitbull Ace with Natalie for 4 days and 3 nights. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Upon drop off, she met me right at my vehicle and helped get the boys, their crates, and bags inside. Upon pick up, she did the exact same. Also, to my surprise, both the boys had been bathed and wearing the cutest bandannas. She sent lots of photos and video updates throughout their stay and they always look like they were having a blast. She even let them cuddle in bed with her at night. About: I’ve owned or taken care of dogs for over 50 years. Friends and family are very comfortable calling on me to care for their dogs. Currently, I am fully retired and miss my own little fur baby. I would love to snuggle and care for your dog. My hours are very flexible to suit your needs. I regularly walk dogs out doors and give them much attention. In my neighborhood all dogs will be kept on a leash as per the law.

I currently work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. i work 5 days a week less than 40 hours and i’m taking care of animals when im on and off the clock so it seems fitting to become a sitter and walker:) I live in a home with an unfenced 2 acre yard. we have a runner in case the dog isn’t leash or off leash trained.

About: Hey friends, I have loved animals since I was a small child, I have a few of my own and love them as if they’re my children. Your babies are in the right hands, can’t wait to meet yall! I currently have a job that is split shift, so the middle part of my day is wide open and lots of room to walk or take care of the fur babies!
