About: I’m Ashley, a lifelong dog lover with a calm, intuitive energy that animals gravitate toward. My family has owned both dogs and a cat since I was a kid, and have had my own fur baby Kali for over 9 years now. My group of friends also have several dogs and playmates of Kali’s, that they have also entrusted me with dog sitting because I’m the perfect mix of nurturing, active and reliable. Your pup can expect: - Plenty of walks, playtime and affection - A clean, peaceful home environment - A large, fenced in backyard to play and relax - An excellent communicator with lots of photo updates I’m great at adapting to each dog’s personality, tuning into what your dog needs. I’ll follow your routines exactly, ask thoughtful questions and treat your dog like my own. I know how stressful it can be to leave your fur baby with someone new. My goal is to give you peace of mind, keep your dog healthy and happy, and make the experience smooth, safe and positive for everyone! I work from home full-time, allowing plenty of pup attention throughout the day, including frequent potty breaks, structured walks, and lot of companionship and belly rubs! I’m already in the habit of taking my own dog Kali on 30 to 60 minute walks most days of the week, and I’m happy to adjust the routine based on your dog’s needs — shorter, more frequent walks, longer adventures or anything in between. I keep a very clean, calm and pet-friendly home in my one-story house. Especially working from home, it’s very easy for me to keep a close eye on your dog’s safety and comfort, and dogs are never left unattended for long periods. I follow your dog’s routines closely: feeding schedules, crate preferences, sleep habits and any special instructions. You can expect clear communication, thoughtful updates and a fun environment where your pup can relax or play. I have a large, fully fenced backyard for playtime and frequent potty breaks. My neighborhood is very pet-friendly with quiet streets that are perfect for daily walks, sniff breaks or early evening strolls. Kali is uncrated at home, but she has plenty of experience being around dogs who follow different routines. Whether your pup is uncrated, crated for short periods of time during the day, or sleeps in their crate at night, I can easily accommodate their schedule and keep things consistent with what they’re used to.
About: 11 years caring for my Labrador, including training, grooming, feeding, and daily care. Patient, attentive, and skilled at building trust with pets of all ages. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I work around the pets in my care. I currently offer boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, and walks throughout the week. I’m happy to accommodate earlier or later times whenever possible—just ask! 😊 I live with my husband in a pet-friendly apartment in NoDa with an elevator, so there are no stairs to worry about. We currently don’t have any resident pets, creating a calm environment that works especially well for senior dogs, anxious pets, and pets who prefer having the space to themselves. I’ve had animals my entire life. I raised and trained my own Labrador Retriever from the time she was 47 days old, and she was my best friend for 11 wonderful years. I also recently cared for both my senior Labrador and my senior cat through their health challenges, so I’m comfortable following routines, administering medications, and adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I enjoy grooming and helping puppies learn good habits through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, understood, and right at home. To provide personalized care, I keep my bookings small. Occasionally, there may be one other friendly guest staying at the same time, depending on compatibility and everyone’s comfort level. If your pet does best as the only pet, please let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate their needs.
“Isabella was amazing with Isla! She sent a lot of pictures and was incredibly thorough in asking questions to understand how to best care for Isla. We will definitely be booking again!”

“Ana is amazing! My dog stayed with her for a weekend. She was keeping me updated and sending pictures and videos. She even offered to drop my dog off! My dog loves sleeping under the bed sheets and she let him sleep like that. He was playing with her boyfriend’s dog but first she asked if I am ok with that. She was following all the instructions I gave to her and my dog loves her! Your dog is in the best hands if you choose Ana!”

“Monique was awesome! Very responsive and sent regular updates. Our pup had a great time with her and her puppy Behr, hank came home happy and tired! Will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Elyse is the absolute best! Sends a ton of pictures and has the cutest dog herself. Our dog had so much fun with her dog and was worn out for days. She was super responsive and reliable too.”

“Grace did a great job! Sent lots of pictures, kept my cats happy, and made sure to clean the litter and sweep before I got in to have less mess. Would continue to book my boys with Grace in the future :)”

“Lauryn is absolutely amazing!!!! And I think that’s an understatement!!! First of all, I found her on kind of short notice..and I am so incredibly grateful that she confirmed the booking right away! This was her first time taking care of Charlie and Cleo, and I can tell they fell in love with her (and vice versa) 🥹 we were gone for the longest time away from our babies (around 5 days!), but Lauryn took extra special care of them and was so patient. She was very communicative, and I absolutely loved the photos/videos she sent us! I would 1000% book Lauryn again - and highly, highly recommend her!”

“Alicia exceeded every expectation I had for my kitty Phoebe! Provided updates and treated my cat with the same love I do. This was one of the longest stays I’ve had away from her but was very satisfied with Alicia’s attention to detail!!”

“Stephen was great at taking care of our cat. Very communicative, consistent, and reliable. Would definitely ask for his help again! We had peace of mind while we were away for several days. Stephen gave detailed updates and pictures after each visit.”

“Peyton did a great job dropping off to feed and entertain my 2 cats while I was gone. My place was kept clean and he spent the full 30 minutes with them at each visit.”

“Rachel was wonderful with our sweet boy! She was very flexible and moved around her schedule to fit in visits with our kitty while we were away for a few days. She gave us updates and pictures each day, and we could tell Cas loved hanging out with her!”

“Adriana did a great job watching our cat while we were away for the holidays. It was our first time using a cat sitter and we couldn’t be happier. Adriana left great notes each day that kept us informed and made us confident that our kitty was doing well. She also took multiple pictures each day and was very communicative the entire time. Our cat and house were well taken care of when we returned. We will definitely be using Adriana again. She is fantastic!”

“She was so great. My job is fairly demanding and sometimes I don’t know that I’ll need someone to take my dogs out and she was able to do it on some of my emergency days with only a couple hours notice. I appreciate that.”

“Christopher provided great care to my cats while I was away for a while. He made sure to give them extra attention and love! I appreciate the updates on the rover cards, especially the adorable pictures he took. He always arrived on time to feed the cats. They seemed well taken care of when I arrived back home. One of my cats didn't want him to leave and kept wanting attention from him. Thank you for being there for the cats!”

“Karen & Xavier are great! They took excellent care of my cat, even going the extra mile to check the litter box and give the cat a puzzle every day. They were very easy to work with, and they were happy to work around my work schedule to coordinate things.”

“Would recommend Lora to anyone who needs a sitter. She has watched my cat (both via boarding and drop in visits) various times over the past year and a half and is always my first choice when I need a sitter. She truly adores animals which shows in her detailed updates/various pictures of her time with Arthur. In addition, she is someone you can trust completely with allowing access to your home while you’re away, which is a super important quality when looking for the right sitter for drop in visits.”

“Serefina was wonderful with our 3 cats! They’re typically very shy around new people but she got them to come out on the first day and play. She sent lots of pics and we felt so happy that our cats loved her. Highly recommend for any your pet sitting needs!”

About: I’m the definition of a “dog person” — we’ve had several of our own, and we’ve been a boarding stop for friends and family for years. I’m not working full-time right now, so I have plenty of time to exercise your fur-friend, or just drop in for a visit! If you have any specific questions or concerns, I’d be happy to answer them! I’m not working full-time at the moment, so I’m available any day, at any time! Plenty of time for long walks or drop-ins, whatever your pet needs. Whatever you and your pet are comfortable with! I’ve dealt with tiny dogs and huge dogs, seniors and young puppies — they’re all special to me.
“Fun day play at Mia’s! She took great care of our boy, and was so careful with his recent food allergies to make sure he was being a good boy. Always trust Mia for a great time and wonderful attention!! ? ? ?”

“Peggy was great with my baby girl! She made sure my pup had lots of plays throughout the day, and sent me pictures and updates. I would recommend Peggy if you’re in need of daycare!”

About: I grew up with dogs both big and small- from a rescue Beagle, to a Yorkie, and now my family’s 2 year old Anatolian Shepherd before moving from Maryland to Charlotte. I also grew up with 2 cats, Sumo and Shelby, so I have experience with both furry friends! I work remote, so I have a very flexible schedule. I also started more recently volunteering at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Shelter. I’d love to take care of your pet! 🐾❤️ I currently work remote 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, so I have the flexibility to be with and care for your pet throughout the day. My evenings are pretty relaxed, so I can even give your pet all of the love once I’m done with work for the day! I am also available on the weekends to do the same. I live in an apartment with 2 other women right across the street from a large park for your dog to play! I’m also not too far from the rail trail, so if your dog is friendly with other dogs I can even take them to the trail for some exercise. In my clients’ homes, I will be sure to follow any instructions to make sure you and your pet are comfortable!

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and grew up with two family dogs, giving me years of hands on experience with daily care, including walking, feeding, and playtime. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have pet sat for friends and helped care for their dogs while they were away. Pet care fits well into my daily routine. I work fully remote, which gives me flexibility throughout the day to take dogs on walks, provide drop in visits, and give them the attention they need. I also enjoy going on walks and runs as part of my own routine, so staying active with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is always providing a safe environment. I live in an apartment community with a fenced-in dog park, which provides a secure space for dogs to get exercise and enjoy time outdoors while being closely supervised. About: I have been taking care of my dog for 6 years and have experience dogsitting for over 10years. My dog loves to have a friend over and we love to make their stay as amazing as we can. As a dog owner, I want to provide the relief that your dog is well taken care of of while you are away 😊 I currently work from home. Your dog would get plenty of walks throughout the day as well as playtime with my dog. I also have a small courtyard they can access for potty breaks and smell breaks. I have a very small fenced in courtyard for potty breaks and just hanging out outside. I take my dog on walks multiple times a day and we have an afternoon/evening playtime session. My dog Charlie, is a gentle giant and loves guests.
About: I've been around animals since I was a little kid. Grew up on my grandparents' farm taking care of dogs, bunnies, pigs, sheep, cows, you name it. That's where my love for them started. I've trained every dog I've ever owned myself — from a big Rottweiler to a tiny Chihuahua-pug mix, and now my German Shepherd that I raised from a puppy. I'm good at reading their body language, teaching manners, and fixing leash reactivity so walks are actually enjoyable. Been walking dogs for friends and family for years and house-sat a bunch of times. I'll treat your pets like my own — give them the love and attention they deserve, keep them well-behaved, and make sure you have total peace of mind while you're gone. Your dog will be spoiled, safe, and happy with me. I just got laid off from my job, so my schedule is wide open right now. I’m home pretty much all day, every day — weekdays and weekends. That means I can take your dog out for potty breaks, longer walks, playtime, whatever they need. I’ve got plenty of time to make sure they’re well taken care of. In my home, the dog always gets my full attention. I'll make sure they feel safe and comfortable, keep them entertained with playtime, and work on training — I love watching them go from not knowing a command to nailing a solid sit, heel, or place. Of course I'll handle all the basics too — feeding exactly how you tell me, potty breaks on schedule, and making sure they're never stressed or bored. Whether it's at my place or yours, I'll treat your dog like my own and give them the attention they need.

I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats throughout their life stages and changing needs. I work for myself so my schedule is very flexible. Afternoons specifically I am usually wide open and love getting a good walk in with a pup! My weekends tend to be very flexible as well. I treat your pets as I do my own with lots of care, attention and love. After a life spent around pets I'm very good at reading their emotions and will do my best to have a fun and safe time together.

About: Hi! I'm Gabrielle, a passionate animal lover, proud dog mom to my 3 year old pup Yonah, and a full time elementary school teacher! Now that summer is here, I have a very flexible schedule. Looking for someone to take your dog on walks, give them lots of love, and keep you updated with adorable photos while you're away? I’ve got you covered! We'll collaborate to make sure your pet has a tail-wagging good time while you’re gone! I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking since elementary school—also helping with fish, frogs, a bird, and a hamster, and eventually convincing my parents I was ready for a dog of my own. My sister and I lovingly cared for our family dog until she was 14, and now Yonah, my own "dog daughter," keeps me on my toes with her sweet, fun-loving spirit that matches mine perfectly. With six years of teaching under my belt, I bring a nurturing, patient, and dependable presence to every pet I care for. Whether your pup loves cuddles, outdoor adventures, or just someone to chill with, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and totally at home. I have a fenced in patio and access to beautiful walking trail. I also am near dog parks and around pet friendly businesses if you'd like your pet to be socialized. I'm currently a teacher, so I have flexibility on weekends when it comes to caring for your pup! I work during the week, but before & after school I take time to do the things I enjoy, like taking walks! With my own puppy, I take time after my workdays to take her for walks, playdates, or play time at the dog parks. Whether it's a short lap around the neighborhood or a long stroll through town, I can work with you to fit you and your dog's needs. I am very attentive and am sure to keep an eye out for your pet's safety and comfortability at all times, whether in home or on a walk. I also have a playful, 3 year old mini cockapoo that can keep your dog company on our walks or playdates (if requested).

“Stephen was so incredible good with my pups! I liked getting feedback after every walk on behavior and their eating. The pups look like they enjoyed themselves tremendously! Will book with Stephen again”
About: I’ve always been a big animal gal — growing up, I insisted on having fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even rats (though not all at once!). Most of all, I loved my big yellow lab, Opie. 🏡🐶🐱 When I moved to Charlotte in 2018, I quickly adopted my cat, Luna (now 7; 9lb) and in 2020 my dog, Aurora (now 6; 55lb). We live in a house in Wilmore (South End) with a fenced yard and access to great neighborhood walks! 🐶 Aurora is a very friendly gal who loves making new friends! She is comfortable sharing her space, treats, walks, and toys with others. 🐈⬛ Luna tolerates dogs in her space, lol. In the case of doggy day care or boarding, it’s very important to me that your pup is friendly toward (or even better, completely uninterested in) cats! I also have a crate and am able to supervise the multi-pet dynamic while I’m home and crate them while I’m away! 🗓️ Because I work unconventional hours (late afternoons and evenings), I’m available for walks in the morning and early afternoon ☀️ I do not work on Sundays and Mondays and am available for more frequent care/potty breaks on those days! I’m available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays before 2:30PM and after 9:30PM! Fridays and Saturdays are available for pups who don’t mind hanging out with my pup while I’m at work most of the day 🫡 In the case of doggy day care or boarding, I live in a two-bedroom home with fenced-in yard and a furry companion (Aurora) to offer up! Potty breaks are readily available while I’m home, and my neighborhood is great for walks! My dog is 55 pounds, and I am comfortable walking with larger dogs. Pets are allowed on the furniture and can be crated if needed. If I’m dropping in to your home, I will of course be respectful of your space and treat it how I’d want you to treat mine!
“Kim is reliable, punctual, and great with Banks! She comes twice a week to walk our dog and is always on time or early, communicates timely, and even offered to come meet us and Banks prior to establishing a recurring walk. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi, I'm McKenna! My family currently owns 3 German shepherds in Dallas, Texas, which I care for intermittently. I've lived with large dogs my entire life, and I have extensive experience walking multiple-sized dogs simultaneously. During my high school years in Texas, I cared for my neighbors' dogs and walked them several times a day. Through my Catholic high school's community service, I was additionally given the opportunity to volunteer at numerous animal shelters. I always walk dogs on a secure leash and/or harness to comply with county animal ordinances. I can follow any behavioral preferences you set forth, such as not allowing your dog to jump during introductions, etc. I am very loving with pets and will not only provide superb care, but also well-deserved belly rubs! I am a former legal assistant, currently studying for the LSAT, which provides great flexibility during weekdays. I am moving to Raleigh at the beginning of August for a career transition, and I can work the entirety of July in the Charlotte area. Safety and kind care are key. I'm committed to the security of your home, as I handled very sensitive and private information while working for a personal injury firm these past 2 and a half years. I will provide a reassuring environment for your furry friend and ensure you stay communicated through photos and quick responses.
About: I have been pet owners for years & there’s nothing I love more than spending time with animals. I love to take walks to the dog park & have a good game of fetch. I also take pictures of pets that I taken care of before so let me know if that’s something you would like. I currently work from home so I spend all day with my pets. My job lets me be able to still take my dog on multiple walks a day, have play time, go to the park & more. The play area is fenced in, I can easily crate your dog if needed. In my home I can provide everything your pet needs like if it was their own home and vice versa.

I’m calm, reliable, and very detail‑oriented, which helps me adapt to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I’m also experienced with: • Puppy routines (crate training, potty breaks, basic commands) • Senior dog care (slow walks, medication reminders, mobility support) • High‑energy dogs who need exercise and mental stimulation • Shy or anxious pups who need a soft, reassuring presence Hello! I’m Cristina, and caring for animals has always been one of my greatest joys. I’m attentive, gentle, and very detail‑oriented — perfect for dogs who need a little extra patience, structure, or reassurance. I am able to take care of pretty much all their essential needs. I can also provide playtime for pets under my supervision. I ensure that they are in a safe space and away from any hazards. You can rest assured that your furry friend will have a safe environment to running around and play in. Multiple pets that engage in playtime with each other will be supervised while under my care to mitigate any aggression that may come up during this activity.
“Emily was incredible. Extremely communicative and responsive, paid attention to the weather and adjusted walk times to take our dog out before an incoming storm or to beat an especially hot day. She also took awesome pictures of our animals and sent them with every update. I could not be more pleased with her services and will be looking forward to hiring her again. 10/10, no notes.”

“Peggy was fantastic with Piper! She took great care of her and kept me updated the whole time, which gave me real peace of mind. Piper was happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. I’d definitely book with Peggy again!”

“Great experience! Julia was very responsive, she sent regular updates and photos which was amazing. She was also incredibly flexible when my travel plans changed last minute and extended the stay without any issues. Highly recommend!”

“Celeste is the best. I had an unexpected delayed flight, and thankfully, Celeste was able to watch my dog longer than I had planned. I was updated regularly with pictures while on vacation that made my day. I knew my dog was in safe hands so I could enjoy my vacation. I definitely will use Celeste again.”

“Linette was absolutely amazing. First, she helped me with a last minute sitting at her house (thank you!). And then she sent pictures of daily walks, chilling on the couch and hanging out with her pup. My pup seemed to really enjoy his weekend at her house. Definitely be back for sure!”

“Daniella was so sweet and patient with my dog. She kept me up to date on how he was doing throughout his stay. She asked so many questions to ensure Hudson was getting the best treatment while in her care! I will reach out to Daniella again for my dog’s next over night care!”

“Hunter was amazing. She was so accommodating and my little Kirby seemed to have a great time. She sent pictures and shared funny stories about him. I would absolutely use her again.”

“Adriana is the absolute best. If you see this review and are deciding between her or another person, do yourself a favor and book her right now. She goes above and beyond with everything.”

About: I grew up having dogs and I’m just naturally good with them. I can pay special attention to their needs and love going for walks. I had to put my body down recently and really miss the company. I have a flexible enough work schedule to be able to take your pet out as much as needed. I will communicate if I will be gone for an extended period of time to make sure that your pet will be OK. I have a fenced backyard with grass that your pet can be easily be let out. I also live in a nice neighborhood that is lovely for taking walks.
“Clover had a great time with Karina and her pups. She sent us a ton of pics, which we greatly appreciated. Would love to stay with her again.”

“I don’t know who had more fun on vacation me or my dog, Joy. Megan and her pup Frank were wonderful with Jo while I was away, and the steady stream of updates were such a reassurance.”

“Cait-Lynn took amazing care of our dog Rooney! We booked her for 9 nights of boarding at her home. She sent us updates with pictures every day and even a video of him playing! We could tell he had a wonderful time with her and will definitely be using her again :)”

“Sydney and Derek were amazing. They were super responsive during the booking process, and sent lots of photos and updates during our pups’ stay with them. We will continue to book with them in the future and highly recommend that everyone else needing dog sitting services does the same!”
