“Anamika, thank you for making Nandi a part of your family during her brief stay. This was our first time using Rover and you made everything so easy. We appreciated the extra care you took in making sure Nandi adjusted to being away from home. She loved all the petting and attention from your kid and Hazel. We will certainly contact you for future sitting opportunities. Thank a bunch, Fred”

“Christina did an amazing job caring for my 12-year old Pomeranian! I got updates throughout the day and she had no issues administering her special senior food, which can be gross. Will totally rebook next time I need a dog sitter. Thank you so much Christina!”

“This was Logan’s first time caring for our kitty, Beau. We were in a bit of a scramble when our scheduled Rover care provider had a last minute emergency and cancelled. Logan was thankfully available and very accommodating. His communication was thorough and he covered everything we requested meticulously. He was on time and dependable. He also took photos at each visit, which we really appreciated. Beau is a senior kitty with some special feeding needs. Logan was more than happy to ensure his needs were met. He even coordinated his time with another client to keep Beau on his feeding schedule. We will definitely ask Logan to care for him again in the future!”

About: I have always been an animal lover, and a vegetarian because of that since I was 10 years old. While I do not have any pets of my own at this time, due to my job, I always get so excited and happy when I see and can be around animals of all kinds. I have been to cat cafes, several farms to pet the animals, and only attend zoos/wildlife sanctuaries that take in animals that have been injured and/or can’t survive in their natural habitat anymore. I’m a flight attendant who works 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. When I’m off, I’m home for the full 2 weeks and will have plenty of time to pet sit for those days. While I do not have any pets of my own due to my job, I thrive in being around animals and pets of all kinds. I treat animals like my own and put as much care into their needs as I would my own pet.

“Jessica did an excellent job! JT is a pretty shy cat and typically doesn’t like to be out of his routine or boarded for the matter. She accommodated him perfectly. She even built a little shed just for him to get acclimated, which I appreciated. I’m also glad she was flexible enough to board JT a little longer considering my travel plans had changed. Luckily JT became trusting during his stay with her which I was really happy about because it can often take him time to open up, especially in new places. I would highly recommend Jessica’s services to your fur-babies! 😁”

“Katelyn was great! We received lots of pictures, notes, and even videos of our cat while we were gone - I booked on short notice and was really glad Katelyn was available. We had a great meet and greet, and then knew Lenny was in good hands from there on out.”

“Jessie did a fantastic job taking care of my cat while I was gone. Pictures everyday to show how much he had eaten and making sure he had everything he needed.”

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. I currently own a large dog and am responsible for all aspects of his daily care, including feeding, walking, basic training, grooming, and monitoring his health and behavior. I’m comfortable handling strong, high-energy dogs as well as calmer or more sensitive ones. I have experience managing leash pulling, reinforcing basic commands, and creating a calm, safe environment both indoors and outdoors. I always prioritize safety, routine, and positive reinforcement. I pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs, body language, and comfort level, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m reliable, patient, and proactive when it comes to communication and care. I'm currently working from home. So I have plenty of time to play with your dog. I'm available for boarding and day care on weekends and weekday. I have yard and a friendly Bernese Mountain Dog to keep your fur baby company. I will keep the floor clean so that the dogs have enough space to play.

“Dennise was fantastic. When we unexpectedly needed a daytime sitter while traveling, Dennise responded promptly to the request and took our fur baby in. She took pictures and accommodated our varied schedule needs. When we are back in the area, we will definitely have Maxwell spend time with Dennise.”
“Absolutely the best!!! We were so worried about leaving our anxious puppy without us for the day & she took the most amazing care of him & was the friendliest!!! She sent pics throughout the day & our pup came back so so happy! ?? Don’t second guess it, book her!!”

“Maria has been our usual dog sitter for a few months now and Lincoln always has a great time there. She sends videos and pictures during every stay and he always looks like he's either cuddling with her or playing with the other dogs. You definitely feel safe knowing that your dog is under her care”

“My dog loves going to stay with Ms Stacey! Drop offs and pick ups are easy, and he gets so excited - he always has a great time. Stacey is super responsive and always lets me know if there is something going on with my dog's behavior. We've also used Stacey for boarding and will definitely be doing so again.”

“Bri and her husband were great! They were waiting for us when we arrived and made Nyla feel so comfortable, slowly introducing her to the other dogs. I got the cutest photos and regular updates. We will definitely be back!”

About: I’m the definition of a “dog person” — we’ve had several of our own, and we’ve been a boarding stop for friends and family for years. I’m not working full-time right now, so I have plenty of time to exercise your fur-friend, or just drop in for a visit! If you have any specific questions or concerns, I’d be happy to answer them! I’m not working full-time at the moment, so I’m available any day, at any time! Plenty of time for long walks or drop-ins, whatever your pet needs. Whatever you and your pet are comfortable with! I’ve dealt with tiny dogs and huge dogs, seniors and young puppies — they’re all special to me.
“My four month old puppy had a great time with Lynann! We got lots of pictures and videos, and she was wiped from playing all day when we got her home. Will definitely book again.”

“Kelcie was available at the last minute and welcomed Leo into her home. I liked that there were other pets and he could socialize too! Loved seeing the report card.”

“Kathy is so sweet & very attentive with my dog. She's also great at communication, which I've found to be a rare occurrence on Rover. She cares for other dogs while keeping mine, but I would never know if she hadn't told me! She sends pics throughout the day & promptly updates time cards. She's so compassionate & truly cares for my fur baby's wellbeing. I highly recommend Kathy!”

“My Winston absolutely loves it at Kim’s house! He just struts right in like he owns the place. Her pups couldn’t be any sweeter & we feel so lucky we found her . Thanks Rover for making this so easy.”

About: hi! i'm Emily, and i've been dog sitting since i was 16, so caring for other people's dogs feels second nature at this point. i'm most comfortable with small to medium size dogs and love getting them out for exercise, especially long walks. if your pup has energy to burn, i'm here for it. at home i have a Yorkie and an Australian Shepherd, so i'm no stranger to different dog personalities and energy levels. i pay close attention to each dog's pace, quirks, and comfort with new people, and i make sure they're getting the movement and attention they need while you're away. whether it's a walk around the block or an overnight stay, your dog will be well loved and well exercised with me. I’m currently working remotely from 8-6pm M-F. Due to the flexible nature of my location, I’m available for boarding anytime during the week, and can step out for walks or stay as needed throughout the daytimes. During the weekends, I’m also fully available for boarding or routine visits, anytime of day or night. when your dog stays with me, they become part of the household for the duration. they'll have access to a safe, comfortable space, regular walks, playtime with my own dogs if it's a good match, and a consistent routine so they're not stressed by the change in environment. i keep a close eye on eating, energy, and bathroom habits and will update you with photos and check-ins throughout their stay. i have a small fenced in backyard and a neighborhood for plenty of walks! i also offer overnight stays and check-ins at your home, so your pet can stick to their normal environment and routine while you're away. i'll follow their usual schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime, keep the space tidy, and bring in mail or packages if needed. for cats especially, staying in their own space tends to be way less stressful than a new environment, and i'm happy to give them the company and attention they're used to. whether your pet stays with me or i come to you, my goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for the whole time.
“Ryan is awesome!! He has watched my 2 large golden doodles for a long weekend, and for daycare and both experiences have been seamless! Ryan’s responds almost instantaneously and is always available in a pinch. He makes pick up and drop off super easy and send lots of updates! My dogs have a blast playing in his backyard.”

“She was very communicative. Sent lots of pictures and videos. When an issue arose, she handled it perfectly and communicated what happened and we established a plan for if it should come up again.”

“Dennise was absolutely wonderful with Kash! She was attentive, caring and really took the time to get to know her. I especially appreciated how mindful she was of the heat and let Kash lead the way when she was ready to head back inside. She even stayed and kept her company afterward, which meant so much to me. Kash took to her immediately and I felt completely comfortable knowing she was in great hands while I was away. I would absolutely book Dennise again and highly recommend her!”

“Carina is the best! She did an amazing job with my Pit. Didn’t think twice about keeping him because of his breed. She’s very sweet and I will request/refer her to anyone!”

“This was our first Rover walk for Coug. He can be nervous with new people, and Rachel was patient, kind, and understanding of his personality. She communicated well and made me feel comfortable knowing he was being cared for. I would happily book with Rachel again.”

About: Hi my name is Joseph! I grew up in a veterinary hospital being surrounded by all breeds and sizes of cats and dogs. I have 7+ years of pet sitting experience for NC State Vet Students and Faculty and currently work for a dog boarding and daycare facility in the Noda area. My background has given me hands-on experience with feeding, exercise, enrichment, and providing attentive compassionate care for every pet. I’m currently working Monday - Friday between 7am-11am (break) 2:30-7pm. On Saturday/Sunday the hours move around alittle but I remain to have a 3-4 hour mid day break for the opportunity to have midday checkups/care. My usual Check-in times when pet sitting have been 10-30 minutes before 6:30-7, 20-40 minutes between 11:30-2, and 20-30 minutes after 7:30. Depending on age, temper and health of the dog the visits can be rearranged for later or earlier visits if needed. With the circumstances of my apartment complex, I do in-house visit of my client instead of having the dog at my home. When arriving at my clients home, I like to first take the dog outside and make sure they use the bathroom. I will update the owner immediately if I see any issues with the pets stool (ie. Blood, Diarrhea, etc). After I like to feed depending on instructed time, or if no meal/ walk the dog around the owners yard or complex if possible. Before leaving I always make sure there is plenty of water and that at least one happy photo. Willing to administer medications in pill form. Also, will always follow clients instructions to a avoid any confusion or accidents.

“Dominique was so wonderful! Angus absolutely loved his daily walks with her. Her clear communication and fun pictures made my day! I cannot wait for Angus to have an opportunity to spend time with Dominique in the future!!”

About: I've been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was young, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. In August 2025, my three-legged Dachshund became paralyzed after a spinal cord injury. He never regained feeling in his back legs, and for nearly 10 months I provided around the clock care to give him the best quality of life possible. I performed daily physical therapy, manually expressed his bladder and bowels, helped him eat, transported him to rehabilitation and acupuncture appointments, and adapted our home and routines to support his mobility. Although he had only one functioning leg, he continued to live a happy, love filled life until we had to say goodbye. That experience gave me extensive hands on experience caring for a disabled companion and deepened my love and understanding of animals. I have a special place in my heart for senior, disabled, and special needs furry friends, and I'm comfortable providing extra patience, medications, mobility assistance, and individualized care when needed. Since losing my dog, I have found myself with extra time and would love to spend it caring for other people's furry family members. I am self employed and work from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the animals in my care. I'm also very active and love going on walks, playing outside, or simply spending time cuddling on the couch, whatever makes your furry friend happiest. My goal is to make every companion feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. Because I'm self employed and work entirely from home, I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, and playtime instead of leaving your furry friend alone for long periods. I live in a quiet, pet friendly neighborhood with a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, sniff, and explore. Whether your companion loves to stay active or simply relax with someone nearby, I can provide a calm, comfortable environment where they'll feel right at home. Creating a safe, comfortable environment is my top priority. My home is located in a quiet neighborhood and features a large, fully fenced backyard with a 10-foot privacy fence, giving dogs plenty of room to safely explore, sniff, play, and relax. The yard also has plenty of shade, making it a comfortable place to spend time outdoors even on warmer days. Inside, I have pet gates to help manage spaces safely, along with toys, cozy beds, and designated areas for rest and relaxation. I understand that every animal has a different personality and comfort level, so I also provide private spaces where a furry friend can decompress and have some quiet time if they are feeling nervous, overwhelmed, or simply prefer their own space. My goal is to create a calm, low-stress environment where every companion feels safe, secure, and cared for throughout their stay.
About: I have had a dog for 7 years. Though I’m now in college so we no longer live together. For most of the those years, I’ve been his main care giver. I’ve feed, walked, picked up, cleaned throw up and poop, taken a tick off of him. Very well versed in the dog sister field. He is also slightly reactive so I have experience in respecting boundaries of reactive dogs. I love to walk. It’s one of my favorite hobbies. Your pup will always get an adequate walk with them. I am currently a college student. Most of my classes are around 9-12 or 4-6. It’s a very gapped scheduled so I’m good to take care of dogs early in the morning, afternoon, or evening. I will always follow the set instructions left for me. I can feed, crate, redirect dogs. I have a loving spirit, me and dogs usually trust and like each other early on.
“Winnie did a great job with Turret. I needed her last minute and I didn't put his harness on him. She was quick to respond, problem solved and sent pictures of my sweet boy.”

“Tricia walked my maltese who has never been left alone before while I traveled for 3 nights. I immediately felt comfortable with her the first day she came. She spent extra time with her to make sure she felt comfortable with her. She sent pics and videos and I could just tell my dog was happy. In fact, I’m not sure she missed me much because she seemed to be having such a good time with Trica! LOL! If you’re looking for an energetic, reliable, caring dog sitter/walker, I highly Recommend Tricia!”

“Amazing first impression! Shannon is so passionate, kind, considerate, and caring for our pups which is very reassuring with my fur babies! Can’t wait to keep having her care for my fur babies!❤️”
About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember!! I grew up in animal hospitals—both of my parents are veterinarians—so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I have experience with pets of all ages, from puppies and kittens to seniors and medically complex animals. 🩺 I work in office 8-5 M-F but come home at lunch every day to let pets out to potty/say hi. Once I’m off (and on weekends), I do prioritize quality time with your babies at home as well! I try and schedule other engagements (if at all) around feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and other routines in your home. I’m very intentional about making sure your pets feel loved and not forgotten, enjoy getting pets outside for fresh air when we can, and prepare ahead by cleaning litter boxes/bowls so each day starts calm and stress-free. I care for pets with a strong focus on safety, prevention, and communication. Growing up with veterinarian parents taught me how small mistakes can have big consequences, so I’m proactive about removing hazards and avoiding situations that set pets up for failure. I’m comfortable recognizing signs of illness or distress and always ask for a preferred veterinarian and approved emergency budget in advance so I can act quickly if needed. If anything ever seems off, I will always reach out by text, call, or FaceTime so we can assess together and decide on next steps.
About: I've been surrounded by pets my whole life—dogs, cats, and a few rescue stories close to my heart. Though I don't live with them all now, I'm still deeply involved in their lives and care. Animals have always brought me joy and comfort, and I genuinely love building bonds with them. I believe in tuning into their needs and treating every pet as family. I have full-time availability throughout the week and can often accommodate Saturdays as well. My schedule is very flexible, which means I can easily adapt to your pet’s specific needs and routines. At my home, pets will enjoy a clean, safe, and spacious environment, with a large backyard for fresh air and playtime. I also live near great trails and parks for enriching walks. It’s just my husband and me at home, so your pet will receive all the attention and affection they deserve. I always check in about your pet’s routine: meal times, walks, play, or special care needs, because my goal is to make them feel comfortable, understood, and right at home. If I’m caring for them in your home, I’ll follow your instructions with the same attention and love I give in mine.

“We just hired Kristi as our dog walker, and she's been wonderful right from the start. Our dog is pretty shy with new people, but Kristi was patient and gentle, taking the time to let her warm up instead of rushing things. By the end of the first walk, our dog was already more comfortable with her. It's clear Kristi genuinely understands dog behavior and knows how to put a nervous pup at ease. Really glad we found her!”

We appreciated the extra care you took in making sure Nandi adjusted to being away from home. She loved all the petting and attention from your kid and Hazel. “Janell and her family were amazing to work with! She kept me updated on how Gus was doing and would send photos periodically. I know Gus had a great time because he slept all day after we picked him up! ? Highly recommend Janell! Thanks again! ?”

“Francis did an AMAZING JOB with Empress. She kept me up to date on her activity. She allowed lots of time outdoors to play and stayed with my regularly scheduled program with feeding and also modified booking to allow Empress to stay an additional day once i informed her that i wasn't going to be back in time for our sheduled pick-up. She was very flexible and accommodating. I will definitely reccommend Francis for others. Also, i will be returning in the future as a customer. Great Job!!!!!!”

“Nala had a fabulous time! This was my first time using a Rover sitter, and we were so grateful to have come across Beth's profile out of the many near us. She and her husband have an amazing way with animals. Nala loved playing with all the dogs and came home absolutely worn out (hard to do with a 7-month-old German Shepherd puppy). We will definitely use them again. I never had to worry about Nala's care or whether she was getting enough attention. There is no way a kennel could provide the love and attention that they did from their animal friendly home. Nala almost seems depressed because she doesn't have her furry friends to romp around with. ”

“We had to find a dog sitter on very short notice, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! They were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and made the entire process stress-free. Our dog had an absolute blast and came home happy, tired, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious that he received lots of attention, playtime, and love while we were away. We truly appreciated the flexibility and kindness, and we would not hesitate to book again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

“Alyssa and Spencer took great care of Sadie!! They were able to take her on short notice which was a huge help and gave her lots of love. Thank you Alyssa and Spencer!!”

“We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Victoria. We contacted her somewhat last minute to care for Sandy and she was able to fit us in for a meet and greet and keep her for us over the weekend. She was responsive to messages, sent photos, and Sandy came home happy and tired (in a good way!). We wouldn’t hesitate to use her again in the future.”

“Nancy is great! My puppy was so tierd after coming from Nancy's place. He had lot of fun and nancy was great in sending daily updates and pics of my puppy.”

“Alison and Richard did a great job caring for our fur baby! Our flight was delayed and they allowed for a later pick up than expected in the evening, which was much appreciated.”

“The dogs (all 3 of them could not be happier) to stay with the loveliest family. They spoiled them, exercised them and took such good care of my puppies that I don’t think they wanted to leave. Huge house and a beautiful property for dogs to play and romp and just have a blast!”

“Kayla is amazing! She was able to accommodate us very last minute. Kayla & family were absolutely wonderful with our pup! From the very beginning, communication was clear and prompt, which made us feel at ease leaving our dog in their care. They followed all instructions carefully, gave regular updates with photos, and went above and beyond to make sure our dog was comfortable, happy, and well-exercised. It was clear how much they genuinely love animals. We came home to a relaxed & happy pup. We couldn’t ask for a person(family) to take care of our fur baby. We definitely recommend Kayla. -Carina”

“Kim was wonderful! It was my first time leaving my fur baby with someone and I was very nervous. She kept me in the loop by sending pics and videos over the length of Luka’s stay. I greatly appreciated that. She took him on plenty of walks and even on a car ride which is one of his favorites. I would absolutely book with Kim again! 👍🏽”

“Hunter was very well cared for with Liz and Chuck! They have a very pleasant backyard for the dogs to run around in. Liz has a very calming demeanor which was perfect for Hunter. We received plenty of photo updates. Would highly recommend!”

“Cami is amazing! She was very communicative and so attentive to our pup! She has a very dog friendly home and yard as well. Our dog was very relaxed and happy when we picked him up so we knew immediately that he enjoyed his stay. We’re hoping she’s available for all our future boarding needs. Highly recommended!”

“I cannot recommend Ashtonette enough! We have been repeat customers for almost a year or more. When I drop off Zircon, it feels as if I’m dropping him off at a very close family friends house! Ashtonette incredibly friendly, communicative, organized, and provide a safe and welcoming environment. I received multiple pictures throughout the day knowing that Warr is either being walked or having playtime or just finding a way to keep him entertained so he comes back home incredibly tired but also very happy if you’re looking for a sitter, then Ashtonette should be at the top of your list!”

“Alexis was AMAZING!! She was the first one to be able to handle Bingo without any issues. She communicated well and Bingo found a new friend. Thank you so much. I can’t wait to use her again!! Book her, you won’t regret it!”
