“This was my first time using rover. I am so pleased with Amanda and David. They are great people. I knew as soon as I left that my dog would be in good hands. They sent lots of pictures and updates. I could not imagine finding anyone better.”

“Hannah is the best! This was my first time using a Rover and my puppy is only a year old so I was extra nervous about using a service for the first time, but I’m so happy I did because we found Hannah! My puppy was so well taken care of and I got regular updates and photos from Hannah which made me so happy and feel more at ease. I’ve already rebooked her to take care of my little girl again! Thank you, Hannah! 😊”

“Celeste is the best. I had an unexpected delayed flight, and thankfully, Celeste was able to watch my dog longer than I had planned. I was updated regularly with pictures while on vacation that made my day. I knew my dog was in safe hands so I could enjoy my vacation. I definitely will use Celeste again.”

“Yenny was awesome with my little chihuahua Ruby and I already have her booked to watch my pup again in a couple weeks :) Yenny is kind and super communicative and made me feel completely at ease with leaving my one-year-old puppy in her care. My pup also had some tummy troubles during her stay and Yenny had no issue administering her medication and confidently taking care of my girl. I would recommend Yenny to anyone - she is the best!!”

About: 11 years caring for my Labrador, including training, grooming, feeding, and daily care. Patient, attentive, and skilled at building trust with pets of all ages. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I work around the pets in my care. I currently offer boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, and walks throughout the week. I’m happy to accommodate earlier or later times whenever possible—just ask! 😊 I live with my husband in a pet-friendly apartment in NoDa with an elevator, so there are no stairs to worry about. We currently don’t have any resident pets, creating a calm environment that works especially well for senior dogs, anxious pets, and pets who prefer having the space to themselves. I’ve had animals my entire life. I raised and trained my own Labrador Retriever from the time she was 47 days old, and she was my best friend for 11 wonderful years. I also recently cared for both my senior Labrador and my senior cat through their health challenges, so I’m comfortable following routines, administering medications, and adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I enjoy grooming and helping puppies learn good habits through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, understood, and right at home. To provide personalized care, I keep my bookings small. Occasionally, there may be one other friendly guest staying at the same time, depending on compatibility and everyone’s comfort level. If your pet does best as the only pet, please let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate their needs.
“Hunter was great. My flight got delayed and I couldn't pick up Walker in time, but she managed to help me out while I was in a bind...Walker for a Christmas gift too!”

“I had an amazing experience with Chloe’s dog sitter! They took the time to do a meet and greet beforehand to make sure Chloe was comfortable and got along well with their dog, which I really appreciated. Throughout her stay, I received updates and pictures that gave me peace of mind. Chloe came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I would absolutely book again and highly recommend Michael!”

“She took such great care of my baby boy, always sent pictures and videos to let me know he’s doing well! I will absolutely be bringing him back to relax in his new home with his new friends :)”

“Ms. Allison (& Co. 😉) was, IS, and will FOREVER be the G.O.A.T. Teachers for our pup Tobi! 🐶 “Sitting” and “boarding” do not do what happens in their care justice! The experience is structured like a preschool, which we and our pup absolutely love. They were a huge blessing to our Family this past weekend, and we sincerely appreciate their kindness, consistency, expertise, & flexibility! Transitioning our furbaby back to home temperment & schedule after staying with Ms. Allison is always seamless. It’s truly like taking Tobi to a second home. THANK YOU so much!!! 😇🐾💖”

“Samantha was awesome! She was extremely communicative, gave constant updates and made me feel at ease. Can’t say thank you enough”

“Megan was great with Jasper! He had so much and I got daily pictures. She even sat with him to make sure he ate his dinner when he was too shy to eat somewhere new. Will definitely be rebooking”

“Georgina was communicative throughout the entire time we were away for 8 days, giving us regular updates and photos that made us feel completely at ease. It was comforting to know our cats were in such good hands while we were traveling. She followed all of our instructions perfectly, and it was clear she genuinely cared for them. We came home to happy, well-cared-for cats, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend!”

“Kristin was great! We were gone for almost 2 weeks and our cats didn’t miss a beat. She sent great photos & updates. Kitties liked her and had happy tails in all the photos she sent. Will book again for our next trip!”

“Salina exceeded our expectations communicated well and went above and beyond to ensure that we felt comfortable. She knows how to use the litter robot and made sure they had fresh water and the food dispenser was always working. My little girl cat is very timid but I was so so happy she was out and about during their visits which tells me that Salina is a cat whisperer!! Definitely will be requesting her services again the next time we go away. Thank you!!”

“Christopher provided great care to my cats while I was away for a while. He made sure to give them extra attention and love! I appreciate the updates on the rover cards, especially the adorable pictures he took. He always arrived on time to feed the cats. They seemed well taken care of when I arrived back home. One of my cats didn't want him to leave and kept wanting attention from him. Thank you for being there for the cats!”

“Stephen was great at taking care of our cat. Very communicative, consistent, and reliable. Would definitely ask for his help again! We had peace of mind while we were away for several days. Stephen gave detailed updates and pictures after each visit.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Alyssia! She stayed overnight in our home for a week while we were on vacation in the OBX and took fantastic care of our three cats. She sent daily updates with funny photos and videos that gave us total peace of mind (and some good laughs). Alyssia also took excellent care of our home—bringing in the mail and packages, taking out the trash, and cleaning up after herself. Everything was spotless when we returned. Most importantly, our cats were calm, happy, and well-fed. In the past, they’ve seemed stressed or even lost weight while we were away, but not this time. They warmed up to her quickly! We’ve already rebooked her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter. Thank you, Alyssia!”

“Airym was amazing! After meeting her to introduce my 2 cats, I felt so safe leaving them in her care. She sent lots of adorable pictures, that I could tell my cats were having a great time. Gave great updates on Rover. Will be using Airym again, highly recommend”

“Haley was amazing with our two cats! She was very communicative and reliable, too. Our cats clearly loved her!! She was able to give our slightly difficult cat her daily meds too which is not always the easiest task!”

“Went away for 8 days and Xavier took amazing care of our 4 cats. He came each night to the Airbnb to care for our babies and take care of our house plants. They are very thorough and highly recommended for drop in visits. We will be using them again over Thanksgiving.”

“She was amazing with our furbabies and I felt completely comfortable going on vacation and knowing they were taken care of. I highly recommend Alicia.”

“Serefina was wonderful with our 3 cats! They’re typically very shy around new people but she got them to come out on the first day and play. She sent lots of pics and we felt so happy that our cats loved her. Highly recommend for any your pet sitting needs!”

“I loved and appreciated Paige’s updates throughout her visits to my cats, and loved her energy when we first met. I know she gave my girls lots of attention and look forward to working with her again!”

I’m not working full-time at the moment, so I’m available any day, at any time! Plenty of time for long walks or drop-ins, whatever your pet needs. Whatever you and your pet are comfortable with! I’ve dealt with tiny dogs and huge dogs, seniors and young puppies — they’re all special to me.

I work from home during the week, so I’ll be able to work around needed schedules. It is possible for me to be gone on certain days for 4-8 hours. About: Hi! My name is Sarah and I am the (very) proud owner of a rescue named Benji! He's the love of my life and we are always looking for other dog friends to spend our time with! My experience with dogs is extensive as I grew up with a German Shepard, taking on full responsibility with him as a teenager. I have dog sat for several families for vacations and weekends and am comfortable with all breeds, and have been sitting for Rover since 2016. I know that dogs are part of your family and will always treat them as such. I have experience with giving medication (even to dogs who don't want it!) as well as baths and providing comfort to anxious or nervous dogs. I have had a lot of experience with sitting a variety of dogs with many different personalities through Rover. I am a very patient person (I am a teacher) and am good with dogs who are shy or cautious.

Prior to a visit, I make every effort to understand your pet's daily routine so that I can provide a stable, familiar routine while visiting. Additionally, I make bonding a top priority, and take time to get to know each pet I work with so that I can provide individualized care and work to become a trusted person on their terms.

“Jasmine was fantastic with both my dogs! One of my dogs have separation anxiety and takes time to warm up to new people. She warmed right up to Jasmine and actually took a short walk with her! I was able to relax while I was away which was very important. I would not hesitate to use Jasmine again and I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Jasmine!”

About: I’ve been taking care of both cats and dogs since I was 10! I’ve had both cats and dogs throughout their lifetime but unfortunately a pet of my own is not conducive to my current lifestyle, which is why I came to Rover to hang out with your amazing pets! I currently have a lot of free time and would love to explore the city with a furry friend! I am willing to care for pets in their everyday home and fulfill housekeeping/other needs that may be necessary. I am also extremely experienced with houseplants and available to care for plants while pet sitting in-home.
About: I have been pet owners for years & there’s nothing I love more than spending time with animals. I love to take walks to the dog park & have a good game of fetch. I also take pictures of pets that I taken care of before so let me know if that’s something you would like. I currently work from home so I spend all day with my pets. In my home I can provide everything your pet needs like if it was their own home and vice versa.

About: I grew up in a pet loving household with cats, dogs and the occasional hamster or two. My husband and I now have a sassy 13 year old calico named Mittens and our newest addition is a rescue puppy called Leia. We also recently had to say goodbye to our senior dog Arlie. I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats throughout their life stages and changing needs. I work for myself so my schedule is very flexible. Afternoons specifically I am usually wide open and love getting a good walk in with a pup! My weekends tend to be very flexible as well. I treat your pets as I do my own with lots of care, attention and love. After a life spent around pets I'm very good at reading their emotions and will do my best to have a fun and safe time together.

About: Hi my name is Joseph! I grew up in a veterinary hospital being surrounded by all breeds and sizes of cats and dogs. I have 7+ years of pet sitting experience for NC State Vet Students and Faculty and currently work for a dog boarding and daycare facility in the Noda area. My background has given me hands-on experience with feeding, exercise, enrichment, and providing attentive compassionate care for every pet. I’m currently working Monday - Friday between 7am-11am (break) 2:30-7pm. On Saturday/Sunday the hours move around alittle but I remain to have a 3-4 hour mid day break for the opportunity to have midday checkups/care. My usual Check-in times when pet sitting have been 10-30 minutes before 6:30-7, 20-40 minutes between 11:30-2, and 20-30 minutes after 7:30. Depending on age, temper and health of the dog the visits can be rearranged for later or earlier visits if needed. With the circumstances of my apartment complex, I do in-house visit of my client instead of having the dog at my home. When arriving at my clients home, I like to first take the dog outside and make sure they use the bathroom. I will update the owner immediately if I see any issues with the pets stool (ie. Blood, Diarrhea, etc). After I like to feed depending on instructed time, or if no meal/ walk the dog around the owners yard or complex if possible. Before leaving I always make sure there is plenty of water and that at least one happy photo. Willing to administer medications in pill form. Also, will always follow clients instructions to a avoid any confusion or accidents.
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up with three dogs and two cats, which gave me a strong foundation in caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I also regularly help care for my sister’s large dogs, so I’m comfortable handling bigger breeds and energetic pups. For the past 8 years, I’ve been a proud dog mom to my own dog, Gus. Caring for Gus has given me hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, administering basic care, and understanding a dog’s individual needs. I genuinely love spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, and companionship throughout the day. Because I’m home most of the time, pets are rarely left alone for extended periods and can maintain their normal routines. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, cuddle time, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while you’re away. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. I provide a calm, loving environment and will treat your pet like a member of my own family.

“Murphy had the best time!! Mathias had great communication and kept us updated on Murphy’s stay all week and sent lots of pictures (which means a lot when leaving your fur baby)! Thank you again!!!”

“Lauryn was great! She was so communicative and took amazing care of Finn and Asher. Adding two big dogs to your routine for several days isn’t easy and Lauryn gave me such confidence from the start-she knows what she’s doing! Highly recommend.”

“Erika was amazing! She did a great job sending updates and pictures. I felt so calm knowing that Ollie was being looked after with the utmost care. She went above and beyond by taking Ollie on hikes, long walks, and abiding by all his little quirks. I could tell Ollie had a blast and loved playing with her sweet dog, Kru. The day I was supposed to pick Ollie up, my flight was delayed til super late, and Erika was extremely responsive and cooperative working with me to find the best way to handle the pickup. She truly knows what a dog parent wants when letting someone watch their pup, and she’ll treat them like on of her own!”

“Elias was great! He took such good care of our girl. His home and backyard are a great set up for dogs. Good neighborhood for walks. We can recommend him highly and would use him again.”

“Sydney and Derek were amazing. They were super responsive during the booking process, and sent lots of photos and updates during our pups’ stay with them. We will continue to book with them in the future and highly recommend that everyone else needing dog sitting services does the same!”
