About: Hello, Rover world! My name is Gerardo, and I am the proud human to Elle and Tayter Dot. I am here to find fun playmates for my girls by hosting your pets. Please note that I will not host any dogs we have not previously met, for the safety of all involved. Since I'm already a dog parent, I'm already doing the dog routine - feeding, walking, petting, etc. Adding your pup to the routine will be pretty natural as a result. Hubs and I work from home, so we are actively spending time with your dog no matter what! We ask that your pet be housebroken. If they have a crate, we can add that to our routine, though our girls have full reign of the house. (It's their house, I just live in it.) Your pet can expect fresh water, a clean home, a yard to run in, and lots of treats. (Maybe also a weird dog voice...sorry not sorry!) I do my best to walk the girls more than once a day. We are regulars at various trails and greenways, as well as hanging with other friends and their dogs. My spouse and I are attentive to the needs of our girls, and will treat your dog like one of our own. You can expect your dog to be loved on, with lots of fetch in the yard, snuggles on the couch, and homemade treats for all.

Enzo was extremely quick to respond and we had a meet and greet scheduled within minutes of submitting my daycare request. I am seldom apart from my dogs so I am picky about who they are left with as I want them to be comfortable in my absence. Any anxiety I had about our day apart was quickly diffused during our meet and greet. Enzo has a beautiful, clean home with a spacious yard in a safe neighborhood. His energy was great and his own dog was very calm and kind. I had absolutely no qualms about leaving my pups with them and got loads of updates throughout the day. I’ve got extensive experience with these guys, and my love for these animals runs deep! I’m currently self-employed, so my schedule is very flexible for visiting or playing with your pets! About: I currently care for an English Bull Terrier that loves people more than anything else, and is not great with dogs. She has taught me the importance of watching body language, getting ample exercise, taking safe walks to avoid other dogs, and giving all the snuggles needed. I am very aware of dogs needs and keeping distance on leashes because of her. I have been around dogs all my life, from smell driven hound dogs, to ball driven mixes, and I love to play with and care for them all! I grew up raising rats and I love them too! I know the importance of them having social interaction, clean cages, and preferred food. I am also familiar with guinea pigs and hamsters. I also have fresh water fish tanks and can do water changes, feeding and medicine. I currently don’t have any cats (or other pets) because of my dog, so I am itching to get some quality cat time in as well! I would love the chance to care for your pets too! *I will have my 2 year old daughter with me most days. She’s very gentle with animals, but does get excited and laugh a lot. I wear her on my back in a carrier when I enter homes and walk dogs, however if your pet doesn’t like kids or is scared, I won’t be able to help this summer. I am a stay at home mom so I can come check on your pets at the most convenient time for you. If you need someone to come snuggle your pets, let them out, and play with them at anytime of the day, I am your gal! I will make sure your animal has more than just a simple potty break before I leave. They will have love, attention, and exercise. I like to come in the door with a treat (if allowed!) for dogs. I will play ball until the cows come home, or give them all the snuggles and love they need.

About: 11 years caring for my Labrador, including training, grooming, feeding, and daily care. Patient, attentive, and skilled at building trust with pets of all ages. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I work around the pets in my care. I currently offer boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, and walks throughout the week. I’m happy to accommodate earlier or later times whenever possible—just ask! 😊 I live with my husband in a pet-friendly apartment in NoDa with an elevator, so there are no stairs to worry about. We currently don’t have any resident pets, creating a calm environment that works especially well for senior dogs, anxious pets, and pets who prefer having the space to themselves. I’ve had animals my entire life. I raised and trained my own Labrador Retriever from the time she was 47 days old, and she was my best friend for 11 wonderful years. I also recently cared for both my senior Labrador and my senior cat through their health challenges, so I’m comfortable following routines, administering medications, and adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I enjoy grooming and helping puppies learn good habits through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, understood, and right at home. To provide personalized care, I keep my bookings small. Occasionally, there may be one other friendly guest staying at the same time, depending on compatibility and everyone’s comfort level. If your pet does best as the only pet, please let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate their needs.
“Christine took care of our pups, Dela and Pongo, for 7 days and was so good with them! It was Dela’s first time away from home and although she wasn’t on her best behavior the first couple of days, Christine and her husband handled it like pros. They gave both dogs so much love and attention, and we could tell they were really happy. Just picked them up and they’re completely worn out from all the playing and fun they had. We’re so thankful for Christine and would definitely have her watch them again!”
