About: I’ve been a dog walker and pet sitter since March 2024. I have experience pet sitting for both cats and dogs. I’ve always had cats of my own so I’m very familiar with how to interact with them so they can be comfortable. I started doing this for a little extra cash & exercise when I’m not touring as a full-time stand up comedian. (It’s a real thing. I work from home working on my start-up business, so I am home all the time! This gives me plenty of flexibility to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. I can accommodate regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, medication schedules, drop-in visits, and overnight stays. Because I am home most of the day, pets receive companionship and supervision rather than being left alone for long periods. I care for every pet according to their normal routine, personality, energy level, and comfort needs and special needs. My home offers a large backyard for supervised playtime, exercise, and fresh air. There is also a covered gazebo with a grassy area where dogs can relax, cool down, or take a quiet break when needed. There are also two cameras outside as well so I can always have eyes on them no matter what! I am currently transforming my garage into a fun indoor dog jungle gym, although that space is still under construction. For now, pets can enjoy the backyard, comfortable indoor areas, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I carefully follow all feeding, medication, walking, household, and safety instructions. About: I have had experience caring for all types of dogs for the last 15 years through neighbors, friends, and roommates. My mother also assists with care, and loves the companion of the furry friends! We can watch a dog up to 20 lbs (Rover didn’t let me customize size)! My mother (retired) and I (just finished school) both watch the pets! We are available during most weekdays and weekends for boarding, and day care for the 4-legged friends! If you needed your pet to stay at my home, and they have their own crate for comfort, it will be appreciative to have it brought with them! About: I’ve always had a love for animals, even though I didn’t grow up in a family that had pets. I would take every opportunity I could to dog-sit for friends and family just so I could spend time with their pets. When I was 16, I found a stray dog wandering the streets. After searching for his owner and not being able to find them, I decided to adopt him and named him Leo. My family wasn’t exactly thrilled about having a dog, and at one point they even wanted me to take him to a shelter. I refused to give up on him. I committed to training Leo, taking care of him, and proving that he deserved a place in our family. Because of Leo, I learned firsthand how rewarding it is to care for, train, and build a bond with a dog. About: I love dogs and cats of all personalities! I grew up having both so I love being around them whenever I can. I find that animals teach us to be better humans each day. I’m very good with Labradors and Golden Doodles as I have been around them the most. But am great with any animal. I love getting to take care of them as I don’t have my own animal so it’s always a treat for me! I have boarded and walked all kinds of dogs and cats and always make sure it’s a fun experience for both the animal and I. I have a very flexible work schedule! The days blocked off on my calendar are when I know I can’t help out. With my easy schedule I’m able to make any animal in my care my main priority of the day! I have a cat currently in my home that is my roommates. I help with her as well on occasion. The cat gets along very well with dogs as she grew up with dogs most of her life. She is female and does not do well with other female cats. So unfortunately boarding wise I won’t be able to board a female cat. About: I have done drop-by and overnight pet sitting in my home and in others homes since I was in high school. I now have my own townhouse and live here with my partner, Yuwsef, and we have a small fenced yard in south Charlotte and a 4-year old poodle named Stevie who loves to play and would love a buddy. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience with dogs and my ability to adapt to each dog’s unique needs, personality, and energy level. I’ve had dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I also have a background in nursing, which makes me especially comfortable caring for pets who require strict medication schedules, administering medications, and closely following specific care instructions. I’m comfortable with special diets and giving extra attention to dogs with specific health or care needs. For dogs that need more exercise, I’m located right along the rail trail in Southend, making it easy to provide longer, scenic walks as part of their daily routine.
About: I have always had a dog growing up but rescued my own dog, almost 7 years ago and trained him from 1 month old. The experience intensified my love for dogs and training them! I am used to going on walks, potty training, and feeding schedules as well as accommodating quirks (my guy can be weird so I get it lol). I had about 10 consistent weekly clients in Pittsburgh working with a business called Happy Tails, but I just moved to Charlotte so I’m looking for new clients! I’m available most weekdays. Weekends are tougher and will depend on my schedule from my full-time job, but I am open to weekends as long as I am in Charlotte. I am very serious about the comfort and safety of your pet. That means I will take the safest route possible (paved sidewalks with low traffic if possible), provide water, and clean up after them when they potty to keep your neighbors happy. I am happy to follow any guidelines you have for caring for your animal. I am also open to doing a trial period with your pet to make sure that we are a good fit for each other.

About: I’ve always had a love for animals, even though I didn’t grow up in a family that had pets. I would take every opportunity I could to dog-sit for friends and family just so I could spend time with their pets. When I was 16, I found a stray dog wandering the streets. After searching for his owner and not being able to find them, I decided to adopt him and named him Leo. My family wasn’t exactly thrilled about having a dog, and at one point they even wanted me to take him to a shelter. I refused to give up on him. I committed to training Leo, taking care of him, and proving that he deserved a place in our family. It definitely wasn’t always easy—he even destroyed my mom’s laptop and I ended up getting kicked out of the house for a week! 😂 But eventually, my mom grew to love him and agreed to let me keep him. Five years later, Leo is still part of the family, and he even helped turn us into a true dog-loving household. We’ve since welcomed more dogs into our lives, and they’ve all become a huge part of our family. Because of Leo, I learned firsthand how rewarding it is to care for, train, and build a bond with a dog. I’d love the opportunity to give other pets the same love, attention, patience, and care I’ve always given my own. 🐾❤️ I currently have open availability and would love to spend that time caring for your fur baby while I’m looking for a job in the area. 🐾 Once I find a job, I won’t simply stop caring for your pet! I’ll still have availability on weekends, as well as evenings and nights when needed. My goal is to build lasting relationships with both you and your pets and be someone you can continue to rely on. ❤️ I have two dogs of my own that I love more than anything, so I understand how important it is to make sure every pet feels loved, safe, and cared for. I love keeping my dogs active and socialized by taking them on long walks, visiting dog parks, and giving them plenty of playtime and attention. About: Hi, I’m Megan, a recent college graduate who just moved to Charlotte who loves spending time with animals. I work part-time and my hours aren’t consistent. I could be working morning, night or midday shift, but I am available for pet care before and after work, on weekends, and on holidays. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, as my family has always had dogs and my nana has also groomed them. I’ve had plenty of experience helping take care of them, from feeding and walking to playing with them and bathing them (even though it’s definitely not my favorite). Growing up around dogs has also taught me that every dog has their own personality and energy level, and that some need a little more patience and attention than others. I’ve also had a cat of my own for the past three years, so I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I genuinely love spending time with animals and would treat your pets with the same patience, attention, and care that I give my own. I’d be happy to keep them company, play with them, follow their normal routine, and make sure they feel comfortable while you’re away! I currently work part-time, but my schedule changes from week to week, so my availability can vary. I’m happy to work with you ahead of time to make sure I’m available when your pets need me. I’m especially flexible for house sitting and can discuss specific dates and schedules with you! I’m not currently able to board pets in my own home, but I’m happy to provide house sitting in your home. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep your pets’ routines as consistent as possible, and make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention while you’re away.
