About: I have had a passion for animals since I was little, often playing vet or zookeeper with the stuffed animals in my home (my real pets weren't as patient playing pretend). Growing up, I helped care for 4 cats and 2 dogs, one Border Collie with high energy and consistent exercise, and a Pomeranian with special needs. During college, I became an animal foster with my local humane society, taking in a total of 4 dogs and 3 cats during my undergraduate years, all with their own special exercise, dietary, and medical needs. I have previously worked locally for several pet services and am happy to provide any references you'd like. I finally decided to get a furry friend of my own, and adopted my dog Willow during the pandemic in 2020. About: Hi my name is Joseph! I grew up in a veterinary hospital being surrounded by all breeds and sizes of cats and dogs. I have 7+ years of pet sitting experience for NC State Vet Students and Faculty and currently work for a dog boarding and daycare facility in the Noda area. My background has given me hands-on experience with feeding, exercise, enrichment, and providing attentive compassionate care for every pet. I’m currently working Monday - Friday between 7am-11am (break) 2:30-7pm. On Saturday/Sunday the hours move around alittle but I remain to have a 3-4 hour mid day break for the opportunity to have midday checkups/care. My usual Check-in times when pet sitting have been 10-30 minutes before 6:30-7, 20-40 minutes between 11:30-2, and 20-30 minutes after 7:30. Depending on age, temper and health of the dog the visits can be rearranged for later or earlier visits if needed. With the circumstances of my apartment complex, I do in-house visit of my client instead of having the dog at my home. When arriving at my clients home, I like to first take the dog outside and make sure they use the bathroom. I will update the owner immediately if I see any issues with the pets stool (ie. Blood, Diarrhea, etc). After I like to feed depending on instructed time, or if no meal/ walk the dog around the owners yard or complex if possible. Before leaving I always make sure there is plenty of water and that at least one happy photo. Willing to administer medications in pill form. Also, will always follow clients instructions to a avoid any confusion or accidents.

About: I’ve always loved animals and taking care of them is something I love. I took some vet classes in high school that helped me learn the basics! Such as their body behavior, basic handling, and how to administer medication. I also gained some experience with grooming and caring for senior dogs, as I understand older pets need extra patience and attention. I’ve trained my own dog to perform many tricks and sleep on his own, so if you have a puppy I’d be more than happy to show them some basic tricks and commands during our time together. While training takes time I’m always happy to help them learn more and build good habits. I’m a full time student and worker as well so for right now the only days I’m available are Friday and Sundays for boarding, pet sitting, and home visits and need at least a 2 day notice please! I live in an apartment where there is a little doggy park and it’s a very dog friendly environment. Inside my apartment they are able to be on the furniture and be with me at all times. I will be taking them out every 1-2 hours or if you need me to do it more often I would be more than happy to. While they are with me if you have any extra requests to have them be on the bed or keep them in their crate I will be happy to follow that.
