About: I've been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was young, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. In August 2025, my three-legged Dachshund became paralyzed after a spinal cord injury. He never regained feeling in his back legs, and for nearly 10 months I provided around the clock care to give him the best quality of life possible. I performed daily physical therapy, manually expressed his bladder and bowels, helped him eat, transported him to rehabilitation and acupuncture appointments, and adapted our home and routines to support his mobility. Although he had only one functioning leg, he continued to live a happy, love filled life until we had to say goodbye. That experience gave me extensive hands on experience caring for a disabled companion and deepened my love and understanding of animals. I have a special place in my heart for senior, disabled, and special needs furry friends, and I'm comfortable providing extra patience, medications, mobility assistance, and individualized care when needed. Since losing my dog, I have found myself with extra time and would love to spend it caring for other people's furry family members. I have 7+ years of pet sitting experience for NC State Vet Students and Faculty and currently work for a dog boarding and daycare facility in the Noda area. My background has given me hands-on experience with feeding, exercise, enrichment, and providing attentive compassionate care for every pet. I’m currently working Monday - Friday between 7am-11am (break) 2:30-7pm. On Saturday/Sunday the hours move around alittle but I remain to have a 3-4 hour mid day break for the opportunity to have midday checkups/care. My usual Check-in times when pet sitting have been 10-30 minutes before 6:30-7, 20-40 minutes between 11:30-2, and 20-30 minutes after 7:30. Depending on age, temper and health of the dog the visits can be rearranged for later or earlier visits if needed. With the circumstances of my apartment complex, I do in-house visit of my client instead of having the dog at my home. When arriving at my clients home, I like to first take the dog outside and make sure they use the bathroom. I will update the owner immediately if I see any issues with the pets stool (ie. Blood, Diarrhea, etc). After I like to feed depending on instructed time, or if no meal/ walk the dog around the owners yard or complex if possible. Before leaving I always make sure there is plenty of water and that at least one happy photo. Willing to administer medications in pill form. Also, will always follow clients instructions to a avoid any confusion or accidents.

I have experience with dogs of all ages, shapes, and sizes, and I will treat yours with the same care and attention that I give my own. I work remotely and can be home on any day of the week. I look forward to meeting you and your animals :) I currently am studying for my exam in October so I am home most of the day and have plenty of flexibility and availability throughout the week and weekends. My two dogs listed on my profile don’t live with me (they live with my parents), so I have no pets at home. I love to spend time with all pups and it’s very important to me that your dogs get the care that you would get from yourselves! I treat all dogs as my own and love to spoil them.
“Kenna was extremely polite. She allowed us to view the area in which they would be moving around in. It was great! Cowboy and Desiré took very well to her and didn't even give me second glance. She sent pictures of them I their natural state which was much appreciated. I definitely will use her again.”

She allowed lots of time outdoors to play and stayed with my regularly scheduled program with feeding and also modified booking to allow Empress to stay an additional day once i informed her that i wasn't going to be back in time for our sheduled pick-up. “Nala had a fabulous time! This was my first time using a Rover sitter, and we were so grateful to have come across Beth's profile out of the many near us. She and her husband have an amazing way with animals. Nala loved playing with all the dogs and came home absolutely worn out (hard to do with a 7-month-old German Shepherd puppy). We will definitely use them again. I never had to worry about Nala's care or whether she was getting enough attention. There is no way a kennel could provide the love and attention that they did from their animal friendly home. Nala almost seems depressed because she doesn't have her furry friends to romp around with. ”
