Mitzi and her kids are wonderful with our two dogs and she took the time to send us both photos and videos while we were away which made a huge difference in our being able to enjoy a vacation. Our schnoodle, Tink, takes some time to warm up to people and Mitzi made sure that she was comfortable and waited for her to approach (and coached her son to do the same). They're now part of Tink's circle of trust. Our pomeranian, Tilley, can be a handful - but they embraced her energy and made sure that she also had a safe place when she needed it and followed all of our instructions about feeding them separately as Tilley tends to overeat. Without question - the absolute best people that we have ever found on Rover and you can completely trust your fur babies with them.”

About: For as long as I could remember I’ve been my family’s go-to pet sitter. Anytime my Grandmother had a doctors appointment or my Aunt and Uncle left town, I would be their first choice. I love animals and caring for them, making them comfortable when their families are gone is not an easy task but easing their anxiety and keeping them comfortable is a very rewarding job. She helped us have peace of mind by showing us where our dog would be staying as well as asking us questions that would help her to care for Pepper. Miriam was very transparent and also introduced us to her doggie 🐶. Everything went smoothly and she kept us updated throughout the weekend. About: My husband and I have had at least one dog our whole lives. After college, many years ago, I started working in a regular veterinary clinic and an emergency veterinary clinic for approximately five years until starting in my current career field. I have experience in administering medication and caring for dogs with mobility issues both from my previous employment and taking care of my own dogs throughout their lives. My husband is retired and is frequently home throughout the day. We have a 13 year old son who is active and loves dogs also. Our dog, Scout, is an Australian Shepherd mix. We adopted her in 2019. She always enjoys having a friend to pal around with in our backyard or watching the world go by from her window seat in our house. I currently work full time and typically get home around 4:30pm. My husband is retired and is at home for most of the day. My son is also excited to start helping to care for the dogs that we invite into our home. I have a large fenced in yard and our dog gets along easily with other dogs. I do have a medium sized crate at our house if a crate is needed. Our dog does not get crated.
