“We love Jill! Our pups love running through her fenced in areas and always are happy in the pictures Jill sends. They are completely worn out when they come home! I highly recommend Jill and her family as your next sitter!”

“Laura is awesome!! She took perfect care of my big baby while I was in Morganton! She gave me regular updates and pictures so I didn't have to worry at all. She even endured his horrific farts! ? I highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again if I'm in the area!”

“Myra is the best. She cares about our furry family members and takes good care of them. I have booked with her several times and I’ve always been pleased with her. Petey stayed for. 11 days while I recovered from surgery. She sent me updates and pictures almost daily. Thanks Myra for what you do Paulette and Petey 🐕”
“Jimena did a terrific job of pet sitting my 2 dogs. They were well tended, with excellent communication and photos and videos thru out their stay. I will definitely reach out to Jimena again thru Rover for the next time I need to board them. Thank you, Jimena!”

“Best dog sitter we've ever had. Our dog seemed to love all the other animals and Tanya gave our dog Bummer extra attention. Bummer may have found a second home. Thank you so much!”

“Karen did an exceptional job taking care of my dog! This was the first time I had left her and it was for a whole week, so I was missing her immensely. But the videos and pictures helped to ease my mind. I will def use Karen again for my dog sitting needs.”

“Sherrie was awesome. She has a huge back yard and is very nice and personable. She sent pictures of Opie and kept me updated on how she was doing. It is abt a 40 minute drive but very much worth it. We will definitely be using her again”

“This is the second time Lane takes care of my Molly and she looks so happy with him. He always sends me pictures and keeps me updated how she is doing. Will definitely continue with Lane. 😊”

“If you have a dog with needs, or just a dog you love, I would highly recommend Rachel and Donald to you! It was such a blessing to go on vacation and not worry about my pet! My dog is old, blind and deaf, so I do worry when I go on vacation. If I am not near, he gets very anxious. And it is hard for him to navigate a new place. But after our meet and greet, my own anxiety began to leave. Rachel and Donald sent more than one daily update with pictures. For once, I was not in a hurry to get back home! When I picked him up, he acted like he would have been fine to stay longer. I could tell they loved on and cared for my dog as well as I do. I will definitely use Rachel and Donald every time I go out of town. Again, if you have a dog with needs, or just a dog you love, I would highly recommend Rachel and Donald to you.”

“Kathleen was absolutely amazing with Hulk. She was kind and caring, and most importantly, Hulk came home feeling happy and relaxed. He felt at home with Kathleen! We will definitely book with her again.”

“Dawn was amazing! She welcomed our two dogs into her home, allowing them space to become comfortable. Her dog was sweet and was patient with ours. She accommodated them with multiple potty breaks throughout the day and let them enjoy couch snuggles. We would recommend her anytime!”

“Donald does a great job picking Duke up, watching him at his home and bringing Duke back home. He communicates daily with pictures and texts. Duke is always happy and well following his stays. Donald is our go to dog sitter and we highly recommend him.”

About: Along with cats and dogs, I have cared for many exotics such as reptiles, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Your pets are family and I will care for them as if they are mine. I am currently a part-time sitter as I’m also a senior in college and work as a vet tech for an emergency clinic. Due to this, my schedule is constantly changing so my calander on rover isn’t always accurate, but I try to be as flexible as I can :) Owners are guaranteed to receive multiple pictures of the their pet(s) while in my care. I will follow the instructions given and always ask the owner first before an action if unsure.

I treat every animal in my care like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.” “Pet care is a natural part of my daily life, not just a job, but something I truly love. Living in the Appalachian mountains has taught me the value of a calm, grounded lifestyle, and I bring that same peaceful energy into the care I provide. My goal is always to help pets feel safe, loved, and at home in my care.” “I care for every pet with the same attentiveness and love that I give my own children. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities, and I work hard to create a calm, dependable environment where pets feel secure and cared for.

“Wonderful, I love the convenience of having her pick him up and drop him off, he was worn out when he got home which is great, he got to burn off lots of energy, and she was a sweetheart, who had a long goodbye of kisses from Gucci”

“Tonya took excellent care of my diabetic cat for 10 days. She gave her the shots that she needed and sent me pictures and let her have her own space to stay in. Tonya lives on a nice farm with other animals around and she is a total professional. Very glad we met you, Tonya!”

“Kaydence was great and did a wonderful job with my girl Roxie! If you need a sitter who is punctual, does the "extra" things your pet needs to feel safe and comfortable, and is great at staying in touch about how your pet is doing, I would definitely recommend Kaydence!”

“Tiffany is fantastic! My usually skiddish cats warmed up to her during our first meet which made me know they would we loved and well cared for plus comfortable with her. She has tons of experience with animals having worked on a farm. She was prompt twice daily for feeding and play time. I will definitely be rebooking Tiffany!!”

About: I genuinely say hello to animals before people. I am the go-to person to look after my friend's and family's pets. This is because they know that I treat their pets with love, care and respect and I always show up. My daily life consists of taking care of my dog "Elsa" and cat "Disney." I teach Art for a living and set my own schedule. This allows me to set aside time to care for pets when needed. I will always bring love, care and respect for pets and the home. While deferring to the owners about specific rules, key commands, and routines they have for their pets and homes.
“Coryne did a drop-in visit for Biscuit and Nugget and did a wonderful job. She was calm, attentive, and immediately comfortable with both dogs. Biscuit and Nugget took to her right away, which says a lot. She followed instructions well, has a great personality, and clearly has a natural way with animals. I would absolutely trust her with my pets again and recommend her to others.”

“This is our second time booking Jaszmyn for drop-in visits for our cat. She has been so great with him both times! He is normally very nervous around new people, but he warmed right up to Jaszmyn! She is very communicative and responds quickly. We highly recommend her!”

“Heather was really sweet and took great care of my cat while I was out. Even though he was shy, she made sure he was fed and had a clean litter box. She messaged me every day to update me, which I really appreciated!”

“Laura watched our 3 year old Golden Retriever for a couple hours while we were dropping our kids off at a nearby camp. She was very kind and responsive and took great care of him! Thank you!”

“Sherrie was so sweet to my young dog! I dropped my dog, Rosie, off for doggy daycare while I went to work. I picked her up around 4pm and she was exhausted! Sherrie has a great outdoor space with a huge yard and kept me updated with pictures of her playing fetch with my dog all day! She was a phenomenal Rover!”

“We’re expecting our first child so it was so important to find the right sitter to watch our fur baby! He had a great time I loved receiving the pictures. I can’t thank Jill and her family enough!!!”

“Absolutely loved the communication and all the videos and updates throughout the day for coopers doggy day care visit! This was his first time doing something like this and I will continue to use Stephanie!!”

“Jimena took good care of our dog while we went to explore Grandfather Mountain and they only allow dogs in the nature discover center if one has a service dog. Next time we return to Boone, we will definitely reach out to Jimena especially when we plan to explore areas that do not allow fur babies. She created a lovely space for dogs to run and or relax. Thanks Jimena.”

“Dawn was very accommodating with drop off and pick up times. She was friendly and easy to communicate with. My dogs were very happy when I picked them up and were exhausted on the drive home. Very pleased.”

“Kassie was awesome. Buddy had a blast & enjoyed the day there. Kassie & her crew of furry friends were great hosts. The ONLY thing that prevents a 5 star rating is a lack of a fence. Kassie took Buddy for great walks, provided a great indoor environment, but he got close to the road when we left. That was on me as I didn’t have him leashed up. If Kassie ever gets a fence in the equation, it would be a “6l” on a scale to 5. Definitely will ask Kassie to Buddy watch again.”

“Lane is great with our dogs and so sweet to accommodate a last minute booking when we unexpectedly couldn’t take our dogs with us on a short trip. Our dogs love running and playing with his dogs in their large fenced shady back yard and I love that they are treated like one of the family at Lanes. Would definitely recommend!”

About: With over 40 years of experience caring for animals and people—including work as a veterinary technician and a retired CNA/caregiver—I provide dependable, detail-oriented care you can trust. I also offer drop-in visits in your home, ensuring your pets receive consistent, compassionate care in the space they’re most comfortable. Since retiring from healthcare, caring for animals has become my full-time work. I am home most days, allowing me to provide hands-on attention, supervision, and a calm, structured routine for the pets in my care. My home offers a calm, safe environment with a large fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I intentionally limit the number of boarding dogs so each pet receives personalized attention. Crating is used only if preferred by the owner. For drop-in visits, I take great care to respect your home while ensuring your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine.
“Scout has been a blessing with our last minute trip complications! From the moment she arrived, our dog wanted to put her paws on her and embrace her. Dogs have a sense for the good people!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for more than 30 years, starting with pet sitting for neighbors when I was in elementary school. While attending college in Raleigh, I expanded my pet sitting work and cared for multiple families with a wide range of pets and personalities. Before moving back to this area, I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility, where I provided daily exercise, supervised play, administered medications—including insulin injections—and made sure each dog felt safe, comfortable, and cared for. My goal is simple: to give your pet dependable care, attention, and companionship while you’re away. Whether that means a walk, playtime, a midday potty break, or extra patience with senior pets, I treat every animal with the same kindness and attentiveness I’d want for my own. I understand that every pet has a different routine and comfort level, and I’m happy to follow your instructions closely so your pet feels secure, happy, and well cared for. I work remotely, so my daytime schedule is flexible and easy to plan around. My weekly routine is generally very consistent, which means I know my availability well in advance and can provide dependable walks, drop-in visits, and midday care without last-minute surprises. Pet care fits naturally into my day—I’m able to step away for walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, or medication visits while still keeping a reliable schedule for both pets and their owners. At this time, I’m not able to offer boarding in my home, but I take caring for pets in their own environment seriously. When I’m in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would expect in my own. I always make sure doors are secure, water bowls are fresh, and pets are safe and comfortable before I leave. I also pay attention to small details—cleaning up any messes, checking that toys are safe, and moving anything that could pose a risk (for example, a torn stuffed toy that could be chewed apart). One of the best compliments I’ve received from a client came after a week-long house sit: they told me, “It never even looked like you were here.” That’s exactly the experience I aim to provide—reliable, attentive care for your pet, and complete peace of mind for you.

About: “I’ve had dogs as companions since I was a child, and they’ve always been cherished members of my family. I treat every pet like family and pay close attention to their unique personality and needs, whether they’re playful, shy, elderly, or needing extra comfort while you’re away. My goal is always to help pets feel safe, loved, and at home in my care.” “I care for every pet with the same attentiveness and love that I give my own children. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities, and I work hard to create a calm, dependable environment where pets feel secure and cared for.
“Heather was great with my puppy, Jax! This was our first boarding experience and we would 10/10 stay with her again. She was communicative, patient with my 14 wk old and made sure he was comfortable in a new environment. Thanks for a great stay!!!”

“Wonderful, I love the convenience of having her pick him up and drop him off, he was worn out when he got home which is great, he got to burn off lots of energy, and she was a sweetheart, who had a long goodbye of kisses from Gucci”

“Bethany was great! My usual sitter could not keep Ellie, so I did a meet and greet. Bethany put me at ease immediately. She sent plenty of pictures and kept me informed daily. I would highly recommend her.”

“Steph did a great job caring for my dog. She sent me pics and videos and it allowed me to enjoy my trip without worrying about how my pup was doing. I'll definitely use her again!”

About: Hi! I have 5+ years of professional animal care experience between working in a canine boarding facility then in veterinary medicine. I've been fortunate enough to love and care for a variety of pets all the way from fish and lizards to turkeys and goats. I understand that leaving our precious animals in the care of a stranger can be quiet nerve wracking. You can rest assured that when your pet is in my care they'll be treated as if they're my own. I currently work 3 days a week at a veterinary ER. I have availability for drop-in visits before or after work as well as almost any time on my days off. My veterinary experience, personal pet experience, and numerous certificates in the animal field allow me to thoroughly care for your pet(s). I am confident in offering services as simple as litter box changes all the way up to special needs medical pet sitting.
“Kara was so good with my pup Koda! She sent lots of pictures and videos during her stay. Kara walked her everyday like I do so she still had some normalcy. She made sure Koda was comfortable! I’m sure Koda will be excited to stay again with her. 10/10 recommend!”

About: Picture this: you love your working breed dog... but they can be a boarder's nightmare. Does it make you nervous that they won't get enough stimulation while you're away? You can rest assured dogs with me will get 2-3 miles of trails a day along with 2+ hours (more on weekends!) of supervised play time with an equally energetic husky. Along with structured crate time to decompress. I've dealt with the worst of leash pullers and have trained my own dogs with high expectations of good behavior. You don't have to worry about your pup loosing manners or reverting to bad behaviors while you're away! I can reinforce proper training while he/she enjoys vacation at a beautiful hideaway with miles of private woods, right on the lake for some water play when it's hot! Your pet's schedule: 7-9am: breakfast! 1-2 miles of trails 9-12pm: crate time with options of mental stimulation toys and food toys 12-1pm: potty break and inside or outside supervised play time with my dog 1-5pm: crate time 5pm: dinner time and evening walks 6pm-bedtime: supervised time around the house, options to interact with other pets, myself, household members. Bedtime: crate or bed if they prefer Note: this is based on my regular daily work schedule for weekdays and weekends. Some flexibility on time frames, excersize amounts, etc are possible. Just ask and let's see if can work something out! I have a high focus on making sure every animal gets adequate amounts of physical and mental stimulation. If your dog has needs outside of what I have listed, let's have a conversation! Crating is required while I or my husband is not in the house. Your dog will be crated in a low stimulation environment away from other animals for proper decompression time. And will never be longer than 4 hours during the day.
