“Ashley and family were great! If I could give her 10 stars I would. We planned a weekend in Rocky Mount and booked boarding for our dog at a local boarding place. We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up. Ashley was able to keep her for the weekend and keep her separated from their other dogs in the home. I was very relieved to know she was safe and taken care and that the other dogs in the home were safe too. When we arrive Harley went right in with them and was happy when we picked her up! They were very understanding and accommodated us so we did not have to cancel our trip last minute. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I have my daughter every other week and I have a dog that can be kept completely separate if needed. I also have plenty of dog toys that are okay to be beaten up. Just ask that you bring food, any special toy, litter for cats, and any medicines. I have two tie-out leads for dogs and a shady backyard that is fenced in. Our neighborhood is quiet and great for walks. Leases safety collars , and for a small added fee , daily health tracking during the stay with a special collar monitor tracking device that I have. I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets and give them all of their needs! If that includes letting the wiggles out or needing some relax time..I’m all in! I am very good with staying in contact and updating people on pictures of their fur babies. I can assure you that your pet is in excellent care under my attention!
About: I’ve lived with multiple dogs from puppies to elderly dogs, and homesat for others after school and summer vacations. I cherish walks, snuggling and just hanging out with them. Currently own two cats that i adopted when they were just 4 months old. Love it! I work from home 100% so fitting pet care into my routine works out well. I can go out for walks on the middle of the day and give them lots of love and attention. I have a big yard away from the street to play fetch safely, and live with two cats that are “dog curious” who would love to smell your furry baby

About: I’ve had animals my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve primarily cared for small and medium-sized dogs, but I’ve also had experience with larger dogs, including my roommate's two who were very cautious and selective about who they trusted. Somehow, they quickly decided I was one of their people! My family and friends also regularly trust me with their furry family members and often come to me for advice. I currently have a cat of my own who requires medication and has some behavioral quirks, so I’m comfortable with the extra patience, consistency, and attention that pets with special needs may require. I’ve always been the person animals seem to gravitate toward wherever I go. My mom has jokingly called me the “cat whisperer” for years, especially! I truly love getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their humans are away. I am self-employed and make my own schedule - I am very flexible so I am able to work from virtually anywhere and at any time, so fitting in any set care is very easy! I always want to make sure I earn the trust, respect, and love of the pets by being gentle, caring, and loving and showing them they can trust me. This often looks like some extra cuddles, a treat, some play time during quick drop-ins etc! There's nothing better than earning a fur baby's trust :)

“Ashley and family were great! If I could give her 10 stars I would. We planned a weekend in Rocky Mount and booked boarding for our dog at a local boarding place. We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up. Ashley was able to keep her for the weekend and keep her separated from their other dogs in the home. I was very relieved to know she was safe and taken care and that the other dogs in the home were safe too. When we arrive Harley went right in with them and was happy when we picked her up! They were very understanding and accommodated us so we did not have to cancel our trip last minute. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
