I have a lot of experience with animals including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, ferrets, turtles, rats, exotic birds, goats, and a tarantula or two so feel free to reach out if you have any questions about your pet. I worked as a Veterinarian Assistant in Greensboro, NC and I have been with Rover since 2018. I am a kind-hearted, patient person with lots of love to give your pets while you are away. I am an avid hiker but if she/he is more of a couch potato, that works too. I have cared for puppies, adult and senior dogs, kittens, adult and senior cats with medication needs on several occasions. Shy and senior pets are my specialties! I have two senior female dogs at home that I’ve had since they were puppies and three rambunctious short hair cats. When they were younger we would walk Battleground Park and the various trails in Eden or around the lakes in Greensboro. I am available for drop-ins and long or short walks. We deep clean and disinfect every morning to keep cdc compliant. As a former certified medical assistant, I have experience administering meds at scheduled times or give injections. Up to date on CPR/BLS/Bloodborne pathogen certification. Rest assure there is never a need for this but its my way of being prepared for anything to maintain safety and protection to pets.

About: We have had many different types of pets over the years and understand the worry of having someone care for your pets while you are away. We are here to help with that worry by providing your pet a loving, fun and safe environment while you are away. Our family consist of my husband, a son in college and a daughter in high school and myself. We have a 13 year old Beagle/Terrier mix who is mostly interested in chasing squirrels and naps. We have recently rescued a kitten who is a fire cracker and provides a lot of interaction and entertainment for other cats and dogs who engages with her. I am home full time and when the children are home both enjoy caring and playing with the pets in our care. Being home allows me to have eyes on your pets and be readily available and responsive. We are well off the beaten path with lots of yard to roam and other barn yard pets. We have a small farm with an area fenced for our dogs as well as a fenced pasture for our farm animals. We also can accommodate crates for those pets that prefer the safety of their known space. Your pet with be a part of our tribe when they are here and will be safe and have a great time. I welcome frequent contact and am very responsive to each pet and their owners needs. Your pet will get the highest level of care here on the farm.

All dogs are supervised at all times when they are not crated, and when they are crated they are supervised by a camera I have connected to an app in my phone! Things are very structured in a sense of safety, behavior, and peace within all of the dogs during their stay. That’s where being a dog trainer comes in handy and the dogs can have fun while being in a calm state of mind! 😉🧘♀️💗🐾 I have three large dog yards- two are fenced in with 6ft privacy fence, and one yard is 6ft chain link fence. They can go potty, play, sun bathe, play in the dog pool, or just enjoy the fresh air. This is also nice if your dog isn’t aloud around other dogs- they will have their own large area to do their business and enjoy their time outdoors in a safe private area too!! 😌❤️ Cats love it here too! 🐈🐈⬛ your furry baby will get to enjoy toys, lick mats, cat castles and scratching boards. Even some cat nip if they’d like 🤪😸, and plenty of cuddles to “make biscuits”. 🥰🐾 If your dog can’t be around other dogs or cats, that is no problem here. I have plenty of room to give dogs and cats their own private space to still keep them at peace and accommodate to their needs during their stay! I like to match personalities within dogs so they can make great friends while they are on their vacation too!! About: My name is Jessica and I have been taking care of pets in my neighborhood for over 15 years, since I was in middle school, through college, and now during my adulthood even though I have a full time job. I also worked at a veterinary hospital for 2 years, gaining experience on how to care for others' pets there especially in emergency hours. I love animals and I am very passionate about what I do, so I decided to branch out further than just my neighborhood. I know how uneasy it can feel leaving your pets at home while you go to work or on day trips, so let me take that worry away! I took care of a dog named Rosey for nearly 10 years and learned how to adjust to her needs as she got older while still making things fun for her! I haven't had as much experience with cats as I have dogs but I love them equally and have taken care of many at the veterinary hospital. I work a 2-2-3 schedule 12 hours a day meaning that I am off two days, on two days and off 3 days then vice versa the next week. The 12 hour shift pays off because that means I only work half a month! That leaves so much open time and that is why I have been able to tend to the current pets in my neighborhood so well. I have a Pomeranian named Bobby and he is my baby. I spoil him all the time and make sure that he is well taken car of whether he has to go outside at 2pm or 3am, I am out there! I give treats for rewards within moderation and love on him all the time. Your pets will get lots of love with me and I will make sure that they are well taken care of while still having fun. Bobby is a senior dog so I am always gentle with him because he also has a disability, so I will also be able to manage that if your dog has a disability as well. I walk Bobby twice a day and play with him a lot on the days that I am off because that is what continues the strengthen our bond.
