“Rachel is AMAZING!! This was my first time boarding my pups (one with anxiety) and using Rover. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 11/10 experience! We did a meet and greet ahead of time, which was super helpful. She has a wonderful setup! A nice, large, fenced-in yard for them to run around and play. The upper deck is perfect for my pups looking out over the yard and resting in the sun. Rachel is a fantastic communicator sending multiple updates, pics and videos throughout the day. With my permission, the dogs were allowed on the couch and provided lots of cuddles and she even slept in the spare room with them (just like home). For my pup with anxiety, she moved slow and gave her time to adjust and settle. My babies got all the play, love and attention they are used to (plus a little more) 😊😊 Also, Rachel was very flexible with me for drop-off and pickup as we were going out of town. About: I have had pets since I was young. I pet sit for family members and friends regularly. My dog is my child and I treat other's pet the same way. I am currently working a full time job. During the week, I am available after 5pm. On Friday- Sun, I am available any time of the day. I make sure the pets have food and water. I like to walk the pets so they don't have built up energy. I also give them lots of love while I am there.

About: I have background in the animal control field where I was an officer and also work for veterinary services within gaston county. Your pet will be treated like family here, animals are a huge part of my life. I have had almost every possible animal, horses, cows, cats, dogs, large and small, chickens, pigs, and even fish. I love them all. I do work 4 days during the week but am home the majority of the time to spend with your furrbabies. They will be let out in the morning before I leave for work on those days and immediately after I've arrived back home. I only work 8 hour days and outside of that I'm home the rest of the time. My yard is not fenced in but i live on a cul de sac, horse pasture and cow pasture and tree farm on 3 sides .. i prefer to walk dogs on a leash while outside ( just in case) but if they seem to be well behaved and trust worthy i may play fetch with them and my frenchie in the back yard , there are only 2 houses on my road so we do have lots of privacy. Your furrbabies will stay inside with me.

About: I have had, rescued, and taken care of a wide variety of dogs from smaller malti-poos to a Dane who had been living on the street, was skin and bones, and ended up 188 lbs. Currently I have Pippa, a 7-year-old Labrador who is allergic to chicken, so I make part of her food. I am home most of the time, except when I host overly-complex board games at the Hickory Library or the Highland Rec Center -- and those sessions are at most 3 hours long. I am home most days, except when I am hosting 3-hour board games at the local library and rec center. Otherwise, I take care of our house and rental properties. I have a large fenced yard -- especially-so since my house sits along North Center Street. I also use carabiners to make sure that gates are locked.

About: I have 2 dogs of my own currently one is 8 and one is 10. I currently work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. i work 5 days a week less than 40 hours and i’m taking care of animals when im on and off the clock so it seems fitting to become a sitter and walker:) I live in a home with an unfenced 2 acre yard. we have a runner in case the dog isn’t leash or off leash trained.

About: I’ve owned or taken care of dogs for over 50 years. Friends and family are very comfortable calling on me to care for their dogs. Currently, I am fully retired and miss my own little fur baby. I would love to snuggle and care for your dog. My hours are very flexible to suit your needs. I regularly walk dogs out doors and give them much attention. In my neighborhood all dogs will be kept on a leash as per the law.
