About: I've been caring for pets since I was young (including dogs, cats, horses, hamsters and guinea pigs) and I currently have 3 cats. 2 of my cats are declawed and get along with the dogs, 1 cat has claws. I'm use to caring for the unique needs of senior pets, including extra bathroom breaks and administering meds. I have three kids, 2 in college and a 17yo, that love pets as well and assist when they can. I live on 12 acres well away from the road but the yard is not fenced. I opened a business in town 9/2021 so I'm no longer home during the day but my husband works from home and when the kids are home from college they assist. I would love the opportunity to get to know your pet(s)! My husband works from home so he can care for them and keep them company during the day. I own a business in town and am usually home by 4pm. I have three kids that love dogs and assist when schedules permit. My cats also get along well with dogs. Dogs are not allowed on furniture but we do play with them if they are the playing kind or let them sleep if that is their preference.

My family and I have always owned dogs; I grew up with them and trained them all my life. Our family is also part of a rescue. So what better way to use our land than to also take care of other people's dogs! We are located in the northern part of Alamance County. We offer 98 acres of land with several walking trails next to a flowing creek, a clean and swimmable pond with a shallow area, a gated outside area with separate runners for the cool days with a nice breeze, and an inside area with luxury crates equipped with barn doors and beds inside of them for all of our furry visitors to relax and feel right at home! Here at our farm called The Retreat, we want your pet to have their own getaway while you have your own getaway! Currently, we are usually available 24 hours a day for your pet. I work from home as a bookkeeper and as a Realtor, so I’m usually here working from home unless I’m running to show a home. While I’m out, I have my wife and the rest of my family to cover my spot until I return. So, your pet should always have someone here to care for them! Here, your pet will always have someone to care for them throughout the day, so you can trust they are in the best of hands. We also understand that it’s a lot of land, so we offer clip-on air tags for your dog's collar while they stay here for extra safety and surveillance. Kenan greeted Hank (our dog) by sitting on the ground and allowing Hank to see that he was safe. They have designated rest areas (although I do allow animals on furniture), plenty of enrichment activities/toys, and lots of affection of course! I also have a large yard where my dogs love to run around and play with toys (when outside, they are always supervised) and a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walks! I am always keeping my eyes on them, making sure they are healthy, eating/drinking, and exercising correctly. In a clients home is a bit different as this is not my personal space. I tend to follow the routine/schedule exactly as written and complete the usual duties such as feeding, walking, playtime, waste/litter cleanup, etc. I keep the home clean, ensure safety over the property and animals, and provide regular updates and photos to owners during each visit. I always double check and make sure all pets are comfortable, safe, and have everything they need in their space before I leave.

About: I’ve pet sat my friends animals, and they’ve had so many! Senior dogs that have accidents and have behavioral issues. Exotic pets, of many kids. Every morning, I fill the cat and water bowl in my room, weekly I clean the bowls. For my dogs, whenever my parents don’t feed them cause they are out, I feed them and fill their water. I brush their coats, and try to give them baths every few weeks or so! However the pet parents would like, but I care for what is best for their health. I understand each pet is different and needs different things. Friends and family have always trusted me as their go-to person when they travel or need help with their pets. I’m currently working from home and make my own hours, so I’ve got plenty of flexible time to care for your pets! I’m available weekdays and most weekends morning, afternoon or night. When I visit your home, I follow your pet’s existing routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walk routes, and any special instructions. I always send photo and text updates so you know your dog is happy and comfortable. I’m careful about securing doors and gates, and I’m happy to discuss any specific needs like medication or dietary restrictions before the first visit. I also do require that I come meet you and your pet before accepting you as a client. I want to ensure both you and your pet are comfortable with me and vice versa.
About: I love playing with and caring for animals. I know it’s hard to be there for your pet at all times, so I would love to help you with your needs. When I’m in a pet’s home, I stick to their normal routine as closely as possible – same feeding schedule, walk times, and sleeping spots. I do regular check-ins for food, water, potty breaks, and meds if needed, and I always build in playtime and cuddles so they’re not just ‘being watched,’ they’re actually getting attention. I keep the home tidy, follow any house rules you leave, and send photo updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away.
About: I have had dogs my entire life. I do have a good amount of experience in puppy training and puppy care. I am also very good at remembering feeding schedules and can take dogs on walks. I will be able to drive to your home. I can walk the dog as needed and do anything that is requested of me in terms of care for the pet. I have a very flexible schedule therefore I have a lot of time to care for animals. I do have a part time job during the week for 5 hours per day but otherwise I am pretty flexible. I will do whatever is requested of me in terms of care, including cleaning accidents, feeding, taking on walks, etc. The care I will do depends on the owners. Currently, I don’t have a job so I am able to pet sit or do any other tasks any time. I will update my profile if I do get a job in the near future. I am able to follow any instructions given to me by owners. I respect how people have trained their animals and will do my best to enforce that.
