About: I've had animals ever since I can remember. Big, small, smaller, just about anything you can think of I've had. I take pride in making sure all animals around me are happy and cared for. I can care for dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and any small animal from hamsters to bunnies. I'm currently searching for a part-time job, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your animals. I love to be around animals, more than people. So, I've got time to take long walks and excellent care of all your animals. I always take my pups out on a leash. They are trained to go into their crates when we leave. All of my animals get plenty of exercise, lots of toys, and all my love. About: I've been caring for pets since I was young (including dogs, cats, horses, hamsters and guinea pigs) and I currently have 3 cats. 2 of my cats are declawed and get along with the dogs, 1 cat has claws. Whether that is planned vacations or when life likes to kick you down, we are here to offer a boarding experience like no other. My family and I have always owned dogs; I grew up with them and trained them all my life. Our family is also part of a rescue. So what better way to use our land than to also take care of other people's dogs! We are located in the northern part of Alamance County. We offer 98 acres of land with several walking trails next to a flowing creek, a clean and swimmable pond with a shallow area, a gated outside area with separate runners for the cool days with a nice breeze, and an inside area with luxury crates equipped with barn doors and beds inside of them for all of our furry visitors to relax and feel right at home! Here at our farm called The Retreat, we want your pet to have their own getaway while you have your own getaway! Currently, we are usually available 24 hours a day for your pet. I work from home as a bookkeeper and as a Realtor, so I’m usually here working from home unless I’m running to show a home. While I’m out, I have my wife and the rest of my family to cover my spot until I return. So, your pet should always have someone here to care for them! Here, your pet will always have someone to care for them throughout the day, so you can trust they are in the best of hands. We also understand that it’s a lot of land, so we offer clip-on air tags for your dog's collar while they stay here for extra safety and surveillance. I maintain consistent feeding schedules, provide daily exercise and playtime, and ensure their safety by always supervising. They have designated rest areas (although I do allow animals on furniture), plenty of enrichment activities/toys, and lots of affection of course! I also have a large yard where my dogs love to run around and play with toys (when outside, they are always supervised) and a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walks! I am always keeping my eyes on them, making sure they are healthy, eating/drinking, and exercising correctly. In a clients home is a bit different as this is not my personal space. I tend to follow the routine/schedule exactly as written and complete the usual duties such as feeding, walking, playtime, waste/litter cleanup, etc. I keep the home clean, ensure safety over the property and animals, and provide regular updates and photos to owners during each visit. I always double check and make sure all pets are comfortable, safe, and have everything they need in their space before I leave.
About: I’ve pet sat my friends animals, and they’ve had so many! Senior dogs that have accidents and have behavioral issues. Exotic pets, of many kids. Every morning, I fill the cat and water bowl in my room, weekly I clean the bowls. For my dogs, whenever my parents don’t feed them cause they are out, I feed them and fill their water. I brush their coats, and try to give them baths every few weeks or so! However the pet parents would like, but I care for what is best for their health. I understand each pet is different and needs different things. I can bathe the animals depending on behavior, my right leg doesn't haven't as much feeling since surgery and cant handle a lot of big pressure.

I’ve had pets my entire life and currently have a 6 year old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix, so I’m no stranger to high energy dogs that need structure, exercise, and plenty of mental stimulation. About: I have been a fur mom since I was about 12 years old and have experience with all kinds of pets, including reptiles, chickens, hamsters, Guinea pigs, birds, & chinchillas. I also use to work at a pet store doing pet care which involved lots of handling, cleaning and keeping a healthy environment for the animals. I am currently self employed and I make my own schedule so I am flexible with my availability. Mondays and Thursday are more flexible but I have time on the other days of the week as well. I’m clients homes I would give your pets the attention and lovin’ that they need and make sure that they are always safe.
