About: 40+ years’ experience caring for and loving dogs of all ages. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs and even those in their prime with plenty of energy. I am experienced with administering medicine if needed and caring for those with special needs. My husband and I have always had our own fur babies (toy and standard poodles), but do not have any currently. Can host only NON-SHEDDING BREEDS, due to family allergies. Must be house broken/trained (to potty outside), with the exception of puppies. I am retired, so I’m always here to give extra cuddles, potty breaks, play time and walks. I really love their company! Tell me their routine while at home with you and I will do my best to ensure it stays the same when in my care. We have a large fenced yard with shade in a small and quiet subdivision. Our home is two story so plenty of room for playing and naps. If they do not care stairs, I will ensure stay on the main floor. Our neighborhood is perfect for walks. I have crates if they are crate trained and you prefer that, but that is not necessary unless that is your preference. Being on the furniture or bed in our home is fine with me too. I give extra special attention if they are nervous for any reason such as thunderstorms, loud noises (such as fireworks on a holiday). I am very attentive and adapt to small things such as if they just don't like going out in the rain. I always send daily updates including photos, videos & text throughout their stay.

About: Your animals will love coming back to me, I’ve grown up with dogs multiple from every breed cocker spaniel, dachshund, labs you name it I’ve had one and although we aren’t in a spot to have one of our own we love the idea of having there company around because they are a mans best friend. “BOOCHI’S FIRST DAY AT DAYCARE 🐶 All I can say is WOW... I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Monti! When it comes to loving on your fur baby & making them feel at home away from home, Monti is an absolute ANGEL!!! When we first met for our meet and greet last week, it was abundantly clear that Monti and her husband truly love and understand dogs. At first, I was hesitant to book my pup, Boochi, for his first day at daycare because he tends to be a bit picky and kinda anxious sometimes, but Monti and her hubby made him feel completely at home right away – it was like Boochi was part of their family! ❤️ Yesterday was Boochi’s first day at daycare, and he was initially a little nervous when I dropped him off… he wasn't sure whether to follow me or stay with Monti. Fortunately, Monti is a PRO with dogs, and she was SO on top of his care plan – you can tell that she honestly loves and cares about the dogs she watches. From bringing out an entire room full of toys to streaming Boochi's fave comfort cartoon, Monti went MUCH further than the extra mile to make sure that he was comfortable and content… and did I mention how well-fed Boochi was? Not only did she make him his fave lunch, but she even sent him home with cheerios and some leftover chicken with broth! Throughout the day, Monti sent me adorable photos and videos, as well as regular updates with cute little stories about Boochi’s first day at daycare – which really put my mind at ease while I was away… it was clear that Boochi was bonding with Monti, having an awesome time, and getting LOTS of love, attention, and “sugars” (aka kisses). Later, when I arrived for pick-up, Boochi almost didn’t want to leave… he was happy, totally relaxed, and sorta tired from his fun, eventful day – which is always a good sign! In fact, Boochi barely ran over to me because he had become SO comfortable with Monti! Ultimately, Boochi’s first day at daycare couldn’t have gone better! I’m SO glad we found Monti and her husband, and we will definitely be booking again ASAP… it’s such a relief to know that we’ve finally found someone that we can trust with our baby boy! About: I have been a babysitter for over 20 years. Most of the families I worked with had pets, dogs or cats. I have had cats of my own over the years but now I help my mom take care of her 2 dogs. I recently moved to Newport News so I have a completely open schedule. I am already cooking fresh food for my mom's dogs and walking them regularly. Come join us. I prepare meals for my mom's dogs weekly. I research foods they can and cannot have to make sure they are happy and healthy. I also walk them 3 times a day minimum. About: Since I was 10, I've always loved watching and caring for dogs and other animals. I started by helping neighbors with their pets—feeding them, taking them for walks, and making sure they felt safe and happy while their owners were away. Over the years, I've learned to understand animals' moods and needs, whether they're playful, shy, or anxious. This experience has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to create a calm environment for pets. I try my very best to accommodate for the needs of your fur baby. Because of my pets I do not offer in home pet sitting. While caring for your pet in your home it makes the pet more comfortable and puts less stress on them being in a new place.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and love them all. I have been petless for the last year since we lost our corgi to cancer. We are not ready to get a new dog yet but this service allows me to get my pet fix and help out dogs…and their owners. I currently do not have a real world job so I am open to any kind of schedule. The closer to home the better, though. I have a small fenced yard and live in a quiet dead end neighborhood. I am open to care in my home or yours. I also have a medium sized crate from my corgi if needed and lots of toys and snuggly beds.

I am no stranger to cleaning up accidents, administering medications, handling pets with reactivity, and fulfilling exercise such as playing fetch, tug, flirt pole, long walks, brain stimulation (keeping up with training/commands) or simply snuggling if your baby is low activity. About: Your animals will love coming back to me, I’ve grown up with dogs multiple from every breed cocker spaniel, dachshund, labs you name it I’ve had one and although we aren’t in a spot to have one of our own we love the idea of having there company around because they are a mans best friend.
