We live in a fairly rural area, so Roxy does not get a lot of interaction with others, but we do know that she does not play well with other dogs, so it was great to hear Debra discuss what her plans were and that she had a nice fenced in back yard that Roxy could run around in without any chance encounters. In talking with her it was obvious that she has a lot of experience with dogs and we could tell from the daily updates and photos that Roxy was in the best of hands. This was by far the most comfortable we have felt with someone watching Roxy and could tell after picking her up she was well cared for. At kennels or other boarding places she always was a bit skiddish or even sick, but picking her up from Debra she was right back into her normal routine, was healthy, and didn't miss a beat. About: Animals have always been a meaningful part of my life. Caring for my three senior dogs has given me experience with the patience, compassion, and attentiveness older pets need, and my family’s strong belief in adoption, especially senior dog adoption, has shaped my passion for animal care. I have also spent years volunteering at animal shelters, which has strengthened my love for helping animals feel safe and cared for. I provide reliable dog and house sitting services with experience in overnight care and following individualized feeding, medication, walking, and daily care schedules for pets of all ages and needs. My goal is to give families peace of mind through kindness, empathy, and dependable care! I’m looking to work part/full time, especially through the summer months, where I can be a reliable sitter for either pets or a household! I’m available every weekday and can work on weekends depending upon requests, and will always be transparent regarding my availability. I currently own 3 senior dogs and 1 cat, and take care of them alongside my family every day! I care for every animal in a client’s home with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own pets. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and I genuinely love caring for them. I grew up taking care of farm animals and mostly took care of chickens and stray cats in my area, so I’m very comfortable with different types of animals and personalities. I’ve also have pets of my own, including my cat Onion, who I’ve raised since birth, and a husky named Gunner that I adopted from a shelter. Over the years, I’ve helped friends, neighbors, and family with their pets, whether that’s walking, feeding, or just spending time with them so they feel comfortable and not alone. I’m very patient and attentive, and I naturally adjust to each pet’s energy! My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away! I am currently a student, Army ROTC cadet, and athlete at North Carolina Central University. I am usually up really early in the morning for physical training at around 5-7am. I would love to start your animals day off with a morning walk or play session! I have a few classes M-TH and can be available depending on the time. However, I’m free all day on Fridays plus weekends. Keeping your pet safe and comfortable are my top priorities. I will not be caring for pets in my home because I am in a dorm for school, but in a clients home I always follow care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special needs. I make sure pets are supervised, secure, and in a clean environment at all times. I’m very observant to behavior and mood changes and will communicate regularly.
About: I grew up on the farm and took care of many different animals. I will love your pet like my own all while respecting your authority and wishes on how to take care of it under my hair. About: Updated: 09/04/2025 I’ve always owned multiple pets and have taken care of neighbor’s pets since I was 11. I’ve been working on and off through rover for about 8 years now but have much more experience pet sitting aside from rover (if you’re wondering why there are only a few recorded sits on my profile). If your animal needs special care such as medication, diaper/pad changing, extra exercise, etc, it’s no hassle at all on my end and I’m experienced with all of these and more! I’m comfortable sitting any animal and I’m comfortable with pet/house sitting that requires me to stay over at the house or visit the house. I completely understand any requirements that ensure the pet’s comfort or your peace of mind :) Feel free to ask me any questions! I care for pets in my own home which gives me more insight to both caring for the pet and understanding the perspective of an owner. This also unfortunately means I can’t board pets at my own house. I live in a house with a dog and a cat and I prioritize their comfort so I don’t want to board other pets in my home with them.
About: Growing up I lived on a livestock farm so my life for animals came natural and at a very early age. I previously worked as a Vet Tech and still currently volunteer for a local rescue, which is how I got 2 of my babies! I would love to keep your loved companions safe and comfortable while you relax on vacation or take care of business for work. I have a completely open schedule at the moment. I can do potty breaks /walks or over night stays for as long as is needed. I have a fenced in yard in a quite neighborhood. Plenty of toys and blankets for everyone and only the best quality dog food and treats. I also have two very friendly dogs of my own but could keep separate if you prefered. I have no limits for space in my house so furniture and such is fair game. I just want them to be comfortable and feel safe.
About: I am a young adult with lots of experience with taking care of cats and dogs. I have grown up around them and I love to take care of them. My daily routine includes emptying litter boxes and sweeping litter off floors. I often accompany my dogs outside to make sure they did their business. I also feed each of my pets daily. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 5, growing up my street had so many chihuahuas. I will take care of your pets like they’re my own. Right now I’m in college so I’m doing this for a little extra money and for something to do. I would love this extra time to care and love your pets as if they are my own plus it would give me something to do. About: Over the years I've had experience with all stages and ages of pets, especially dogs, but also including horses, chickens, fish, guinea pigs, bunnies, cats etc. I've raised and cared for my own pets from puppies to elder dogs, special needs to the most energetic (or anxious). About: I have trained all the dogs I ever had . I fostered and dog sit . I have lots of experience. I'm an animal lover I do work. But when I'm not working I'm spitting every living minute with animals. I love my dogs and help walk my senior neighbors dogs in the morning and when I come home at night . I do live in an apartment. About: We had dog all my life, I had puppy by myself, when she’s growing up, due to my circumstances, I give her to my daughter, she is safe there and I visit them often. I am retired and have need to take care, decided to care about dog, it’s my priority now, they will be in good hands, my promise to you. I am at retirement age, fit and energetic, still working part time, night shift, one or two shifts in months , just keep myself occupied, bored to stay home. I own 3 bedroom house and live outside of city, your dog or puppy will be care of very well, i have a toys and testy treat, place near the forest, fresh air and a lot of space to walk.
About: I absolutely LOVE cats, but I love dogs as well! I grew up with a cat that I was extremely close to, and now and I have a little one of my own. Though I have never owned a dog myself, I am comfortable around them, have petsit dogs and am more than happy to take care of one! My family used to travel for extended periods of time growing up and I would be so anxious about our pets being at home alone, even though they were being taken care of. I understand that anxious feeling and can definitely offer you peace of mind when you're away. I will be super interactive with your pet and play with them as much as they'd like! It's important to give them lots of attention and love when you are away. Though I am busy with school, I can do many things on my own time, making my schedule very flexible. This is how I am able to fit pet care into my daily routine! I will always keep my home and your home safe for pets! I am careful about what I leave in the open that pets have access to and I always refresh food and water, making sure to keep them in an appropriate location. I will always double-check fencing in the yard to make sure all pets are secure with no possibility of escaping.

We live in a fairly rural area, so Roxy does not get a lot of interaction with others, but we do know that she does not play well with other dogs, so it was great to hear Debra discuss what her plans were and that she had a nice fenced in back yard that Roxy could run around in without any chance encounters. In talking with her it was obvious that she has a lot of experience with dogs and we could tell from the daily updates and photos that Roxy was in the best of hands. This was by far the most comfortable we have felt with someone watching Roxy and could tell after picking her up she was well cared for. At kennels or other boarding places she always was a bit skiddish or even sick, but picking her up from Debra she was right back into her normal routine, was healthy, and didn't miss a beat. We are so greatful to Debra and will be using her again.”

About: I am an ARMY veteran. I love dogs and they love me. I would rescue them all if I could. They are definitly angels on Earth. I am a very active person.
