“Jimena has taken such good care of our Midas. She has sent us videos and pictures of him each day. That made us happy seeing he was having a good time and interacting with her and the other dogs. He has had space to spend outside and inside. She accepted our reservation at the very last minute too!!”

“Our dogs had the best stay with Jill and her family. We traveled from out of town into the mountains for a family trip and were happy to know our dogs were somewhere safe. Jill sent lots of photos and it was evident the pups had a blast in her backyard! We will certainly bring the dogs back if we’re up in that way again!”

“Heather was absolutely amazing and so supportive when we had weather issues canceling flights home! She was wonderful to work with, and we hope to use her again in the future!! Our pups seemed to enjoy their adventures, and we so appreciated her kindness!”

“Amanda was wonderful. She was so easy and flexible with our meet and greet. Sent pictures and updates on McKenzie. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing McKenzie was happy playing with her dog and snuggling with her boys. You know your dog was happy when she wasn’t in any hurry to get in the car to go home. I will absolutely use Amanda again!”

“We are so happy we found Fran! Fran was wonderful with our pup Lupine. She took her walking, on play dates, and let her snuggle with her. Staying with Fran was like a puppy vacation for our girl. I highly recommend Fran!”

“Laura was wonderful with our mini Bernedoodle! We felt so comfortable knowing that he was in a safe and happy environment. She sent us texts and photos throughout his stay so that we could keep up with how he was doing. We will definitely call on Laura the next time we are in the area! 5 stars!!”

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. With the limited hours available there, I thought we could try this avenue as well. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. We love walking dogs, playing fetch, petting them, and providing lots of love. We enjoy playing with cat toys, and giving them plenty of attention as well.

“Chestnut was awesome- we felt completely comfortable leaving our 15 year old cocker with her. It was obvious. To me that she loved dogs and mine would get amazing care & love. She sent daily updates & pictures which my entire family loved seeing. She communicated before, during and after my dogs stay. We had never used Rover before but would most definitely use Chestnut again should the opportunity arise. It was a good feeling and comfort to know our dog was in good hands.”

“Elizabeth was really nice. She sent photos and updates that made us feel comfortable. Peanut has to eat four times a day and take medication, and Elizabeth didn't have any problems with that and let us know that he stayed up to date on his meds. Peanut was relaxed when we picked him up. He didn't seem stressed at all. We would book with Elizabeth again. Super grateful to have found her for a last minute business trip!”

“Katy took wonderful care of our two pups. They are full of energy! She helped get them settled and was a good communicator with us. We will definitely use her again! Highly recommend!”

“Best dog sitter we've ever had. Our dog seemed to love all the other animals and Tanya gave our dog Bummer extra attention. Bummer may have found a second home. Thank you so much!”

“Kayla was awesome with our dog, and super flexible. We had to go out of town unexpectedly and I’m so glad we found her. She even watched our baby ducklings for us. Highly recommend!”
“Communicated very well with us about some issues with our girl growling over toys with her dogs. Was very flexible and helpful with making it easier on us with transporting her on drop-off and pick up which was much appreciated.”

I currently share my home with my husband and three friendly dogs and two cats who love to socialize with new friends (as long as they are calm and polite around cats). Living on 5 beautiful acres, we have plenty of space for dogs to explore, play, and enjoy fresh air. I treat every pet as part of the family - providing personalized care, a comfortable environment, and lots of love and attention. Whether it’s an overnight stay or doggy daycare, I make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and right at home. I work from my home office, so I’m here throughout the day to give pets plenty of attention and supervision. My flexible schedule allows me to adjust to each pet’s normal routine - whether that means morning walks, midday playtime, or cozy afternoon naps. Dogs enjoy frequent outdoor time or inside play depending on the weather and their comfort level. While I do occasionally step away for short appointments, pets are never left alone for more than two hours at a time, and always in a safe, comfortable space. Your pets will get lots of love, care, and companionship - not just supervision, but genuine quality time. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. Cleanliness and safety are part of my daily routine: food and water are refreshed regularly, litter and waste are promptly managed, and all playtime is supervised. My husband is deploying and I had to drive my cat all the way from Nebraska, do a little pit stop in Boone, and then on to home and I felt so safe leaving him with Kara. I’ve never left my baby before, so this was a big deal, and she provided me with pictures and videos every day. “Super nice. Loves animals. Great professional but cozy environment. Very attentive to my older dog. She was very good at communication, responding quickly to all messages.”

“Lane is great with our dogs and so sweet to accommodate a last minute booking when we unexpectedly couldn’t take our dogs with us on a short trip. Our dogs love running and playing with his dogs in their large fenced shady back yard and I love that they are treated like one of the family at Lanes. Would definitely recommend!”

“Melissa was great. We were traveling with our dog and wanted to bike the Virginia Creeper Trail. Melissa's house was about 20 min from the bike rental shop in Damascus, and it worked out perfectly to drop off our dog for a few hours while we biked. She has a big fenced in the back yard.”

About: I connect with animals of all kinds! I've had several dogs & cats, rabbits, pigs, turkeys, snakes, chickens, lizards, and a chinchilla. My love for animals is limitless & my goal is to improve the life of every animal I can reach. I am currently taking courses online to sharpen my skills pertaining to grooming, learning different breeds, training, diet & health. I have acquired many different brushes, supplements, flea combs, scissors and other supplies to keep your pet clean & tidy. I keep lots of treats in my kit including cat treats, cat nip, dog treats, calming pheromone spray & highly digestible bones. I enjoy cooking for pets when I can, making it feel more like going to Grandma's house instead of day care 😉 I am very attentive to moods and behaviors, while also going above and beyond to make sure they feel safe. I have treated sick animals, given medications, assisted in giving injections, and followed food regimens. I've been bitten by several different kinds of animals, so I know how to deal with the not-so-fun parts. I have plenty of energy to walk and play, toys, and my own reliable transportation. I've done extensive research on behaviors and relationships of pets and I'm always learning. I would be happy to write daily reports and/or take pictures, whatever makes you feel at ease. Outside of caring for my own animals, I'm not very busy, so if you need a last minute service, I will likely be available. I can transport animals in my car and also have a female German Shepherd who is fixed and is sweet as can be, if your pup would like a play mate! I'm always looking for new spots to walk & hike, making sure your bestie doesn't get bored ☺️ I strive to work with pet parents to provide high standard, seamless care for every animal & your peace of mind. There is nothing I won't do to ensure the safety & happiness of your pet. Frivolous is not in my vocabulary 🫡 I take care of my animals daily, but have plenty of free time for yours! Morning, afternoon or evening, I'm available for your pet care needs. My pets are well taken care of and honestly a little spoiled 🤭. We have different foods for different cat needs, we don't use cheap food brands in our household. Our dog is walked at least 5 times a week, sometimes more. Each animals gets individual attention and plenty of pets. I make my own treats to give my dog her medicine and also try other pet recipes from time to time. All animals are vaccinated, de-wormed, and get vet check-ins annually.
“Laura watched our 3 year old Golden Retriever for a couple hours while we were dropping our kids off at a nearby camp. She was very kind and responsive and took great care of him! Thank you!”

“Sherrie was so sweet to my young dog! I dropped my dog, Rosie, off for doggy daycare while I went to work. I picked her up around 4pm and she was exhausted! About: Not only do I get along well with animals, I also understand the importance of being a great pet sitter. For me it’s about going above or beyond whether it’s sitting with the pet to ease their nerves that their owner is gone or taking them on their favorite adventure (my dog Gus loves to swim in creeks)! In addition, taking care of the home while the pet owner is away is a essential to my beliefs around pet sitting such as bringing in the mail or washing out water bowls. I am currently a student at Appalachian State getting my master certification in GIS. When I am not in class, I am looking to take care of your furry friend! While I have pets of my own in my home that does not allow me to care for pets in my own home, I care for pets in my client’s home by adapting to their pet owners needs and making it a smooth and reliable process!

“Laura was wonderful with our mini Bernedoodle! We felt so comfortable knowing that he was in a safe and happy environment. She sent us texts and photos throughout his stay so that we could keep up with how he was doing. We will definitely call on Laura the next time we are in the area! 5 stars!!”

About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and pet owner, with experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently share my home with my husband and three friendly dogs and two cats who love to socialize with new friends (as long as they are calm and polite around cats). Living on 5 beautiful acres, we have plenty of space for dogs to explore, play, and enjoy fresh air. There’s also a fenced area for safe outdoor time and a quiet room inside for pets who prefer their own space or need downtime away from others. Your pets will enjoy a spacious, peaceful environment, balanced socialization, multi-pet expertise, personalized attention, flexible accommodations, and all-day care. I keep a close eye on each guests’ comfort, routine, and personality, ensuring they get the right mix of activity, affection, and rest. With me, your met will enjoy country-style play, cozy indoor time, and loving attention.

I also offer doggy day care and overnight boarding in my home Thursday afternoons through Sundays. I’m a flexible and responsive sitter, please reach out to connect! Our home is located in a private, quiet country setting. We have a fenced in yard for pups to play in. We have a dog ourselves who enjoys time with other pups and we also have an outdoor cat. About: I love dogs and cats and grew up with both in my home since I was a baby. I pet sit on the side for friends and family and have loved it. I love to play and cuddle and walk your dogs. I live in the North Wilkesboro area. I have one dog who is 3 yrs old and loves friends. I am an administrator by trade so dedicated, hard-working, and responsible. I am clean and tidy so you don't have to worry about coming home to a dirty house. I don't mind cleaning up after myself or your pet. I work full time 8-4:30. I am home on the weekend. I spend my nights and weekends with my dog so we can easily include yours as well! I have one 3 year old female dog. She is fixed, trained and won’t be a problem. We go on walks and I have a long chain for the dogs to explore the yard with. I live in a safe neighborhood with no worries or issues. I treat the dogs like family. They can be on furniture and I normally do not crate my dog. If yours needs crated I have a spare room so they can feel safe and not upset not being with my dog.

About: I have been a dog sitter for 6 years! I love dogs because sometimes they’re easier to talk to than humans. I would love to meet your furry friends! PM me for any further questions. I am free 7 days a week to care for you. I am a college student but I only have class 2 days a week from 9-10:15am. I have a huge front yard which is not fenced in but I live 2 minutes from a fenced in park! My house is dog proof!
