But after our meet and greet, my own anxiety began to leave. Rachel and Donald sent more than one daily update with pictures. For once, I was not in a hurry to get back home! When I picked him up, he acted like he would have been fine to stay longer. I could tell they loved on and cared for my dog as well as I do. “Kaylynne is such a SWEET young lady! We had to leave early to get up to Swannanoa where we were helping yesterday and she allowed me to drop our dog off before 8. My dog is still completely in puppy brain mode at 10 months old. She won’t run off at home as I use a training leash and she is focused on what we are doing and playing when I release her on to run and bring back her toy or visit our neighbor’s dog Our Puppy became anxious around 3 yesterday and she apparently remembered how to crawl up a fence like she did in her exercise corral months ago and she jumped over. She ran towards the road and Kaylynne tried to coax her back. Our dog had become anxious, Kahlynne explained, as it was her first time in doggie daycare. Kahlynne ended up calling me and I asked her to put me on speaker phone. I was able to call out and speak to our pup. It helped her to come back towards Kajlynne where she was able to take hold of her. She kept my precious fur baby in her house until I got back down the Mtn as fast as I could. I truly appreciate Kaylynne and all she did. Her own dogs are so sweet and she has a large fenced in backyard area where the dogs are free to run and play.”

Kassie took Buddy for great walks, provided a great indoor environment, but he got close to the road when we left. That was on me as I didn’t have him leashed up. If Kassie ever gets a fence in the equation, it would be a “6l” on a scale to 5. Definitely will ask Kassie to Buddy watch again.”

About: When I was in college I went and got my dog on a whim. I didn’t need any training or help to take care of him I just immediately knew what needed to be done. He needed a safe home and that’s what I provide for him. I’m great with walking (especially large dogs) and love playing with them. I currently work real estate so I am usually on the go. When I am out of my house I don’t mind stopping by to check on animals even if it’s more than I need to check. I always think if I am out I might as well check on them. About: I've had animals since I was a child and have taken care of them all of my adult life. I have personally fostered over 75 dogs through to their adoptions! Whether the animals are in my house or their own, I will follow the owners' instructions and manage expectations so there are as few surprises as possible. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life and now have two of my own. Both of our dogs have been trained since puppies the basics as well as advanced tricks such as “tell me a secret.” I would be willing to work with your dog on any tricks. Your pup will be in great hands! My dogs are very friendly and full of energy, they love meeting other dogs! I currently work 8am-5pm. I wake up with the dogs in the morning to let them out, play and feed them. They are crate trained during the day. I come home on lunch from 12-1 and return home at 5pm. Our pets are always watched over and never left unattended without supervision for long periods of times. There is nothing that would harm the animals such as chocolate in reach of them. We do have a fenced in yard and use leashes when going on a walk. I always have a pet first aid kit handy incase of any accidents and would be reliable to give any pet medications on a set schedule.
About: I've taken care of my own two chihuahua for over 10 years. Always made sure they fed well and treated right. We enjoy time walking around parks and town. I'm part time in college student and employed and I have plenty of time in my hand. What do i enjoy doing in my spare time more than a nice walking during my fav season Fall with the windy breeze on a sunny day. I make sure dogs don't get into fights or start barking at other pets near them by picking them up or going a different direction. My dog is old, blind and deaf, so I do worry when I go on vacation. If I am not near, he gets very anxious. And it is hard for him to navigate a new place. But after our meet and greet, my own anxiety began to leave. Rachel and Donald sent more than one daily update with pictures. For once, I was not in a hurry to get back home! About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for all sizes and breeds, including walking, bathing, feeding, and spending quality time with them. From a young age, I developed a strong love and respect for animals and really value the bond between pets and their people. In college and through work, friends and coworkers often trusted me to watch their dogs because I’m dependable and genuinely enjoy being around them. I live an active lifestyle, especially on weekends, and my apartment is right by the 4-mile Lyle Creek Trail, which is great for walks and exercise. While I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I truly enjoy being around them and love that pet sitting lets me experience all the best parts of having a dog—without them ever missing out on care, attention, or exercise. I work Monday–Friday with a very flexible schedule and live just 5 minutes from work, so I’m able to step away when needed for pet care. I’m available for boarding after 3 PM on Fridays, all day Saturday, and during the day on Sundays, with pickup by 7 PM Sunday evening. I’m also happy to help with dog pickup and drop-off when needed. On weekdays, I’m available before 8 AM and after 4:30 PM, and I can also accommodate walks and drop-in visits throughout the day to ensure pets receive reliable, consistent care. In my home or a client’s home, I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while sticking closely to their normal routines. If a dog is crate-trained or needs a crate for safety or comfort, I’m able to crate them as needed. I provide regular walks, feeding on schedule, and plenty of attention based on each pet’s energy level and needs. I’m also available for overnight stays, making sure pets are cared for throughout the night and maintain a consistent routine. While I don’t have a fenced-in yard since I live in an apartment, I make up for that with access to plenty of open space and nearby trails, which are great for exercise and walks. Safety is always my priority, and I make sure pets are supervised, secure, and well taken care of whether we’re inside or out.
