With my permission, the dogs were allowed on the couch and provided lots of cuddles and she even slept in the spare room with them (just like home). For my pup with anxiety, she moved slow and gave her time to adjust and settle. I am home most of the time, except when I host overly-complex board games at the Hickory Library or the Highland Rec Center -- and those sessions are at most 3 hours long. About: My mom got me my first dog when I was 10 years old, and it was from then on that I promised to take care of him the best way I knew how. I have experience administering medication (in pill form, liquid, and gel) to both dogs and cats, even when they don’t want to take it. I have also personally trained my dog to sit, lie down, high five, and on accident, I taught him to get up on his hind legs and beg with his front paws. If there is any special care that your animal needs, I would be more than happy to quickly and efficiently learn and adapt to care for your animal the way they deserve. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I have experience training dogs and of course caring for dogs full time! I have raised my dogs from puppies until the end of their time ! I have a part time job working at a gym but it is flexible and i will be able to give the dog the care it needs. “Rachel is AMAZING!! This was my first time boarding my pups (one with anxiety) and using Rover. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 11/10 experience! We did a meet and greet ahead of time, which was super helpful. She has a wonderful setup! A nice, large, fenced-in yard for them to run around and play. The upper deck is perfect for my pups looking out over the yard and resting in the sun. Rachel is a fantastic communicator sending multiple updates, pics and videos throughout the day. With my permission, the dogs were allowed on the couch and provided lots of cuddles and she even slept in the spare room with them (just like home). For my pup with anxiety, she moved slow and gave her time to adjust and settle. My babies got all the play, love and attention they are used to (plus a little more) 😊😊 Also, Rachel was very flexible with me for drop-off and pickup as we were going out of town. My heart is so full knowing my babies were so well cared for! Thank you Rachel!!!”

I am a previous dog owner of 2 amazing pups of my own, Gizeylle (Black Lab & Australian Shepherd 16yrs) and Spike (Rednose Staffordshire Terrier 8yrs) who have both crossed the rainbow bridge. With that being said, spending time with other dogs has been healing and therapeutic for me during my own grieving process. I am experienced in handling dogs of different breeds, temperaments, sizes, AND ages. I will treat your baby like one of mine. ❤️ I have pretty open availability, as I have been laid off, so I have much free time for check-ins, walks, and sitting. Please inquire on the availability needed for your pup. I have a large yard with space for your pup to sunbathe in. My yard is not fenced, so they will need to come with a leash and collar/harness. Please bring your pup’s bed, crate, etc. for their own comfort.
