About: Like everyone else on this app, I love dogs, and grew up with German Shepherds However, I started on the rover app because I wanted to provide something I thought was missing… reliable pet care for high energy and athletic dogs. I travel a lot and the last thing I want to worry about is if my 70 pound GSD is wearing out the kind old lady I left her with because that’s who was available. Rest assured, if you leave your dog with me for work or for play, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. Need daily runs or multiple walks a day? Good. We run every day. Need yard play time? Not a problem. Extra belly rubs? Easy. Is your Dog a couch potato? I have a couch and have happy to give rubs and chill out. The point is, weather for a week or a weekend, if you leave your dog with me, you can focus on where ever your travels are taking you. I have a pretty demanding full time job. I’m only available for boarding in my home. If I’m home, your dog has 100% of my focus. I have a very well trained and very social GSD and a large fenced in yard. About: I have had dogs, all my life, from Chihuahuas up to German Shepards. I’ve had dogs who have had diabetes and cancer from the time they were puppies up to adult seniors. My dogs are my family, and they are spoiled rotten! I am retired and stay at home most of the time. About: I've grown up caring for multiple breeds of dogs and some cats. I have adopted an older Lab Mix from a kill shelter and he is the sweetest, calm and loving dog. Large dogs are my specialty but I love smaller dogs as well. Caring for them comes natural, on top of giving them plenty of space to run and exercise. I am comfortable giving any dogs medications as I have experience giving my own the same. If there is any specification you'd like for dog boarding, I am more than positive those needs can be met. “Marina was so good with my sweet Bea. Her home is a safe and calm environment for any dog. Being away from home is so stressful for my Bea, Marina was so calm and accepting and did her best to keep Bea's stress as minimal as possible. Marina is was also very flexible and worked with my last minute work schedule change. Bea loved her time at Marina's and we will definitely have more stays at her home.”
