About: Hi! I grew up with dogs in the household my entire life and know just how much love, attention and activity are important. I’m here to provide for your pet when you need an extra hand. I’m free for over-night house-siting in Chapel Hill on weekdays and weekends. I have my own small young pup who is a sweetheart and comes along with me. When house-siting on Tue, Wed, Thu, I would be home with your pet from 6PM to 8AM. I charge a lower fee those days. Monday and Friday, I can come provide a potty break at noon. On the weekends, I can be home 70-100% of the day, depending on your needs. I think exercise and stimulation are very important! I personally love going on long walks and driving to the park. But every dog’s needs are different. I’m happy to take any care instructions the pet parent requests.
“Emily was amazing from the start. She listened to all the kitties needs and tried to socialize with them before our vacation so that they are not unfamiliar with her. With every drop in visit she made sure all their needs are taken care of, checked their water and most importantly engaged them with lots of play time. Within her second visit she was able to convince our shy cat to trust her and took great care of them. She also provided regular updates and listened to any input we had She provided a peace of mind while we were hundreds of miles away and our cats also loved interacting with her. About: I have had cats in the home since I was about 6 years old, I am now 23 and still have a 17 year old, an 8 year old, and a 1 year old. I have had the experience of raising kittens from kittenhood until their golden years. Besides my own pets, I have rescued and taken care of multiple stray cats as well. Most notably would be two years ago when I rescued two kittens from my local park. I spent countless hours with them before catching them and getting them to the vet for all of their shots and fixing. “Charlotte came in clutch when I booked a couple of days before my trip. She was friendly and trustworthy. I only have cats and they don’t need any care other than attention, since their food and litter are automatic. It’s possible that this led Charlotte to think I didn’t want updates about the cats. Day 1 of 2 I reached out to check in and I heard from Charlotte that Meatloaf did not respond well to her the first visit—hissed but did not become aggressive—but that he warmed up to her on visit 2. Definitely will set up introductory visits each time which I have learned will avoid this issue. Charlotte stopped responding after the first day, so I have no way of knowing how the second day of visits went. I was pretty worried about whether Meatloaf was mean to her or if the cats were being checked on. I’m not even sure if she saw my shy second cat at all—just any more communication would have been good. I don’t want to tank any ratings if my cats were a problem but I have no idea what happened.”
About: I grew up with dogs since I was 12, from a chihuahua mix to a labrador mix. I've had my current dog for five years, a shi-tzu poodle mix. I also have a stray kitten who's less than a year old. About: I have own dogs my whole life. I have one Rottweiler and a Yorkie/Minpinch. My Rottweiler is very friendly. They both love people and other dogs. Both of my dogs are very we’ll behaved. They would love to play with your fur babies. Yes I consider my dogs family, and I would treat you dogs as family also. My husband and I live on 5 acres so your dogs will have lots of room to run and will be watched with love,and well taken care of. You will not be disappointed when you pick them up. I love animals and treat other peoples animals like they're my own. We have a fence in area. It's not attached to our home,but it is well shaded with 3 cement stalls where they can go lay down if they wanted too. I also have long training leash so i can play with them since I don't have a fence yet. I used it with my Rottweiler that passed when I lived in apartment up in Michigan. It works great cause its really long so if I needed to step on it I could to stop them. I Iam looking forward to meeting you and and taking care of your fur babies . I am open 7 days a week.Animals are my passion,snd want to do it full time. I will beable to take them out when ever needed and exercise just like i do with my own. my husband is home all day,so they wouldn't be left alone I have 5 acres we finally have s fence in area so your dog will be safe,and will beable to get plenty of exercise. I also have a long traing leash so I can play with them without putting in the fence in area. I used it for my rottweilers. It works great because it's really long so you can jump on it if they start to take off. Since we have a fence in area now,when they in it ,I will check on them periodically to make sure they are ok. I also will get in the fence wirh them to play with them. I would never leave them out in yhe heat or cold to long. Like i said i treat other animals just like they are my own .

Sundays and Mondays pickups and drop offs can be scheduled anytime between 9am and 4pm with some minor give and take for timing. I work night shift hrs 3am to 1pm so your pet is never left alone at home for long. If im gone I have 24/7 camera monitoring in my kennel area so I can always see and hear what's going on. When im home outdoor games and interactive puzzles and treats will fill your pups mental and physical needs. I have a beautiful fenced in back yard, grooming facilities, training room, and more. Your pet will get everything they need and want while here. Everything is tailored to each individual dog based on their needs. While I do provide kennels if your pet is nervous or never boarded before id highly suggest bringing their own Kennels. Any damage done to my kennels will encur a fee and no repeat bookings unless the dog comes with anxiety medications upon next booking and you'll be required to provide your own kennels after that.

About: As a young girl I've always had a fondness for animals. I would beg to have a dog until I finally got one. Pepper. Then later Betsy. I've had guinea pigs and rabbits. A rat and mice. Hamsters and chinchillas. I loved them all. I have been around farm animals quite a bit. I'm in love with horses and could even provide care for farm animals. In high school I started working at the vet clinic that at the time offered boarding services. I did that for a short time. In that time I have dog/house sat for family friends. Now in more recent years I've dog sat and currently work for a boarding business. I have been there a full year now and I love it.
