I recently moved to Newport News so I have a completely open schedule. I am already cooking fresh food for my mom's dogs and walking them regularly. Come join us. We understand vaccines are not bulletproof and that some illnesses may have an extended incubation period but we highly recommend the vaccines to create the safest experience. *Please know that we are unable to care for sick/contagious dogs. If your pup shows any signs of disease or illness, please let us know beforehand so we can make sure you receive a proper refund. If we discover that your pup is exhibiting obvious symptoms of disease with the first 12 hours with us, your dog will need to be picked up and no refund will be issued. I am a stay at home mama. I pick up and drop off my children at school and have the rest of the day free to help take care of your dogs. We live in a very clean two-story home, fenced in yard, and all the necessities required to properly care for your pets. PS: I know my photos dont look the best whoever I am working on it and you will receive many updates on your pets day I am a college student so my schedule is very flexible and allows me all the time in the world to love your pets. I am available Monday-Sunday starting at 10am til whenever I am needed I will follow whatever schedule you give to the letter. The average day would be breakfast in morning with a 30 min to an 1hr walk to give them all the time to digest and get that energy out. In the afternoon I will either play with them outside or go on another walk. In the evening is dinner and another walk or playtime so they can take that well deserved nap. In between those walks I will always be near and doting on your pet (unless they show discomfort) and making sure they get there potty breaks and water is filled. I couldn't imagine treating your pet anyless than my own.
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet owner, having owned pets from cats and dogs to hamsters and fish ever since I was a young child! About: I have hands-on experience raising my own dog, Bentley, who is just over a year old. Taking care of him has taught me patience, consistency, and how to understand a dog’s needs at every stage. We spend a lot of time going on walks, playing ball, and playing tug-of-war, so I’m very comfortable keeping dogs active, engaged, and happy. What sets me apart is the genuine care I have for every animal I look after. I don’t just “watch” pets—I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I pay attention to behavior, make sure they’re secure at all times, and give them lots of love and attention. My goal is to build trust with both you and your pet so you can feel confident they’re in good hands.
About: I love animals of all breeds, temperaments, and age. I promise to greet and treat your animals as if they were my own. Being a pet owner myself I realize how difficult it is to leave your family members home. I will do my best to make this experience as easy for you as possible. I will send updates and pictures with every visit. I service the local area (Camden, Shiloh, Elizabeth City, Currituck) with pet sitting needs and pop in visits. I work in Elizabeth City M-F from 5-1. For this reason I would recommend only sending a request if your animal is also used to being on a working schedule (left 8+ hours). I will supply visits before and after my working hours. We can discuss specifics based on your location. I will follow your rules as if you were home. I will treat your animals with as much love and affection as I would my own. If you use certain commands, I will too. If your dog isnt allowed on the furniture, I will uphold your boundaries to the best of my ability. If your dog licks your face and lays with you on the couch, I'm cool with all the snuggles.
About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life. I have experience with all ages and senior care, as my childhood dog is now 13, and I frequently pet sit and care for her. I have taken care of family and friends dogs as well, from the ages of puppies all the way to senior. With always being around various breeds, sizes, and temperaments, I have learned many things throughout the years. I have experience walking reactive and nonreactive dogs. As well as, bathing, playtime, potty breaks on and off leash, and, of course, giving lots of love and snuggles! I also have experience giving pills if needed. My dog Chili is a two year old rescue who was previously abused and became a stray. We had to help her overcome her anxiety through trust and training. We trained her to walk and potty on a leash, crate training, dog and people socialization, commands, and to be off leash. I have learned lots of patience and training skills to help her become comfortable with us and others. Now she is my little velcro dog and protector haha! I have learned throughout the years to always earn a dog’s trust to help ease any anxiety when meeting them. Boundaries are very important to me as well. If any are stated to me, they will be upheld. I appreciate those that listen to mine, so I will always listen to others.

About: I’ve had dogs in my home my entire life and have always been an animal lover ever since I was a child! A fun little backstory about me...most teenagers get jobs to have money to go to the mall or whatever it is that they want to do, well my goal was to save up all the money I made and get my own puppy. That was one of the best things I ever did, I had her for 16 years. Other than having dogs all my life, I also have kennel technician and veterinary assistant experience. Before I moved back to North Carolina, I was working the front desk at a non profit animal hospital. I feel that I am a very genuine and good hearted person. I am willing to walk/jog/run/play fetch, honestly, I will do pretty much anything to make them happy while you’re away and would love to build a relationship with your fur baby!! I’m a stay at home mom, so my schedule is pretty open every day!♥️. It’s just my 4 year old and I until about 4pm Monday-Friday, so as long as your fur baby is good with kids anytime from early morning until then works! After 4 I have open availability without him (incase your baby isn’t good with kids). My weekends are generally 100% open so I’d love to help in any way that I can! About: I've been an animal lover all of my life. I had cats for most of my childhood and early adulthood. He is one of my best friends and I spoil him with lots of love, treats and walks. I am a certified yoga teacher, artist and pet care provider. I started out pet sitting as a side business to earn some extra money, but it has become so much more than that. It is such a rewarding job and a great honor to care for so many beautiful animals! I will take great care of your fur babies and your home. You can have peace of mind with me as your pet sitter. I can't wait to meet you and your pets! I am usually available most week days and weekends ( except the ones marked off my calendar), for house sitting and drop in visits.
