About: I’ve had animals since I was a kid and always enjoyed taking care of them! It’s very rewarding for me. In my early 20s I was a dog trainer I’m a stay at home dad. We have a 10 and a 5 year old. I take walks throughout the day and between my wife someone is always home unless we are taking the kids somewhere. If they like the car and the park I can even take them with me! I walk a lot and am outside with my kids throughout the day. My kids love dogs so they will be showered with love and cuddles (if they enjoy that).

I was raised around animals (dogs and cats) we would take litters and rehabilitate them until they were ready to go to their forever homes and we would also rescue cats and dogs and rehabilitate them as well! About: I have been around pets my whole life! I have taken care of each and every pet I’ve had. I have always had either a dog or cat in my house. And each of my family members have had pets that I have been around as well. I also use to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for injured animals. I have my own mini farm, where I have pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and turkeys! So if you need any of those types of animals cared for I can do that too! I have a very flexible schedule so I basically have the whole day to come take care of any pets! I have plenty of time to come and hang out with your furry family! I have four loving dogs that get outside all day long because I have so much time during the day and a very large fenced in backyard. We go on walks all the time! We can have a pet play date if your pet likes other dogs. If you need your pet needs to crated, I can do that. If they need soothing music put on, I can do that too!

About: I love animals, I am currently going to school to become a Marine Veterinarian. I also did an Internship at an Animal Hospital for about a year and a half. I have personally been taking care of animals since I was about 14. I had a husky for almost 12 years, I had to give her baths, take her on walks, and feed her. I now have a Shih Tzu and for her, I have to take her to her hair cut appointments, her vet appointments, give her baths twice a week, walk her and feed her. I also took care of my Grandma’s cat and I had to take her to hair cut appointments, feed her, and clean her litter box. I am hardworking and also put 110% into everything I do. I am very reliable, trustworthy and I make sure everything I do is done correctly. I have also watched way more pets than what rover says I have, and about 95% of the people I dog sit for do reach back out to me to see if I can watch their pet again! I am a full time student! About: I've always had a big heart for all animals. Growing up, we weren't allowed to have any pets larger than a rabbit- so I worked with that. We had fish, turtles, a lizard, chinchilla, but always begged for more. On my 12th birthday was when my sister and I were finally granted a miracle- our mother was allowing for us to adopt a set of kittens. From there, our furry family grew. We now have another cat and two dogs! When working to prove our responsibility, my sister and I took it upon ourselves to become our neighborhoods pet sitter and walker. About: We have been taking care of dogs since 2018! We are so enjoying it!! Hubby walks the dogs and I cuddle and play! It's a win win for your fur baby! For doggie day care we are available between 8 am and 6pm Monday through Friday. Would love long term . We do have one small dog. For boarding we are available both weekdays and weekends. We have a nice fenced-in backyard and my husband takes the dogs out for walks when possible! When that option isn't available,they have dedicated playtime in the yard.We have one dog that is not initially playful but takes a while to warm up but he does typically! I do require a meet and greet before committing and for pets to show proof of rabies shots,heartworm and flea and tic treatments. I work part time outside the home but my hubby works part time in the home so rarely are we both gone at the same time. I have a fenced in yard and my husband tries to walk our dog daily.Typically will hit the area walking trails. If necessary, he is willing to walk animals separately(older dog who can not walk as long or dogs who have health challenges)Our dog is aloof and takes a bit of time to adjust but usually does. We are attentive to this and supervise very closely until we see how things are going to be. We own both a large and small dog crate and can separate them if needed

About: Hailing from an animal loving family, I've taken care of both dogs and cats since I was a very young child. I've worked with small and large, young and old, male and female, loud ones, quiet ones lol, playful, not so playful haha. About: I have always had either a cat or dog. I recently had to say goodbye to our cat and lost my dachshund about 2 years ago. My son and I are not ready to get another pet of our own but, we would like to take care of your pet as we would our own. I have always been the "go to" trusted person for many of my friends for pet sitting. I enjoy being active and outdoors as much as possible. I usually go for a walk or run first thing in the morning and would love to have a buddy for that. I am also open to dogs that are older and need some extra time and attention. About: I was raised around dogs, and have been taking care of them for more than 10 years. I also have experience volunteering at a dog shelter, and have no problem handling bigger dogs or cleaning up after any animals :) Currently I work with Woofies, which is very similar to Rover, just not completely independent. So technically I don’t have a primary job except this! This will probably change but if I’m successful enough you can rely on me frequently :) Always make sure they are fed and comfortable, taken out, and try to get some of their energy out so their isn’t any issues. With some of the rougher ones I’ve learned being gentle is all they need.

About: Horses. Currently have 2 horses and have been around them since I was 3. Have only had my 2 since 2010. Also have 2 dogs that were originally from the Wake County Animal Center and fostered by me and have experience administering medication as needed for multiple species. I have a rabbit, dove, cat, and chickens. I currently work full time as an Animal Health Care Technician so would be available for overnight care, evening and early morning walks. On days I am off I would be happy to do middle of the day walks and help as best as possible! I’ll hopefully break my own dog’s separation anxiety soon but still must balance those needs with your pet(s). If I do consider being there overnight house sitting for you at some later time, “please consider possibility” of my small 14 lb shih tzu dog coming leashed & with a carrier, if preferred, to stay with me if there’s a room or place (that doesn’t have hardwood or a rug) to keep him separated from your pet(s). Yes his spoiled butt has occasionally had tantrums that include relieving himself on the floor or carpet on occasion when mad at me (usually only for leaving him) but if not another available room like a bathroom, I’ll keep him in his carrier during the likely 2-4+ hrs housesitting p/visit or day so your pet(s) & he should be fine. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST SITTING OF ANY TYPE OF DOG OR PET WITH A HISTORY OF AGGRESSION, INDIVIDUALLY or AS A BREED: This includes pitties, rotties, Shepards, Dobermins, & cats that have shown aggression towards any person or people. I know it may be based mainly on how they were treated while growing up…but I like living & have many others depending on me to make it home. Call me chicken 🐓 all you want but: I’m unwilling to work in isolated homes (considered too far/blocked from viewpoint of neighbors/roads + too close to wooded areas). For safety & privacy, I may be willing when able, to stay for a minimum agreed upon amount of hrs. but not overnight unless the unlikely event I feel VERY safe, cozy, comfortable, & secure in doing so. I must be able to trust that I will be protected in private moments as well & don't mind spending hours daily in a decent home for house sitting under those conditions but must feel that my mom, pets, & I are fully comfortable & safe for overnight stays (which’ll likely have .1% chance of happening 😅). We can discuss this further & some things mentioned may have changed since time of posting but THERE MUST BE SECURE, WORKING LATCHES on exit doors or you agree I may bring my own + LOCKS ON ALL ENTRANCES, including window locks. PROVIDE THE # TO YOUR SECURITY, FRONT DESK, LANDLORD, &/or SUPERINTENDENT, IF APPLICABLE, in case of emergency 🆘. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ELSE SHOULD HAVE KEYS THAT CAN ENTER WHILE YOU’RE AWAY!!! During meet & greet, please show me where applicable fire extinguishers & any other life saving devices such as escape ladders from upper floors are just to be on the safe side. Yup. Horror movies & bad experiences galore…! 🤷🏽♀️
About: I’ve worked a cumulative of 5yrs in vet care before becoming a nurse. I have experience with both the medical care and boarding care of cats and dogs. In the past I have house-sat for clients with 4+ animals and provided walks, playtime, meals and even medications for 3+ days at a time. I also have experience raising puppies from 6months of age. While dogs are my favorite, cats hold a special place in my heart. Currently we have two big, loving fluff ball's of our own. About: I’ve had animals since I was a kid and always enjoyed taking care of them! It’s very rewarding for me. In my early 20s I was a dog trainer I’m a stay at home dad. We have a 10 and a 5 year old. I take walks throughout the day and between my wife someone is always home unless we are taking the kids somewhere. If they like the car and the park I can even take them with me! I walk a lot and am outside with my kids throughout the day. My kids love dogs so they will be showered with love and cuddles (if they enjoy that).
