About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have cared for four dogs of different ages, breeds, and sizes. I currently have an 8-year-old mutt named Tucker who is incredibly sweet. Tucker previously went through heartworm treatment, so I have experience following medication schedules and giving medication as directed. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, basic grooming, and giving pets plenty of attention. I’ve also owned and cared for parrots, iguanas, lizards, hamsters, and many other animals. I genuinely love animals and will treat every pet like one of my own. I’m currently in college and only have about three hours of class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I love when my friend's pets get excited to see me because I equally share their joy! Dogs: I have always loved dogs and had at least 1 since childhood until a few years ago sadly. The automatic baby voice comes out when I see and talk to a dog. I have found myself spending more time with the dogs than the humans at gatherings sometimes and I appreciate those moments. I love all breeds and sizes! When seeing a new dog in passing, I ask each owner if it’s okay for me to “say hi”/pet their fur baby because all are different with different personalities and life experiences. I tell my kitties often that they will have a canine sibling soon! Cats: Currently a cat mom of 2, the stars in my pictures! I was ignorant of cats until I found my own. I listened to many behavioral podcasts along with my research to understand their uniqueness, and now I deeply appreciate and understand wholeheartedly the love earned from such individual little creatures. My kitties are my shadows, I never use the restroom alone. They have taught me so much and I love the unique personality that I find in each one of them. I know how important it is to respect their space (especially if they're more standoffish) and ensure they have all their resources, especially when their humans are away! Currently working my own flexible schedule so I can make any time work that your fur baby needs. Some pets are used to early mornings and some are used to late evenings. Whatever works for yours! My kitties eat raw, so I make their food daily and give them specific supplements and treats depending on their behavior and the litterbox situation. I'm in tune with my kitty's behaviors and meows knowing what they're requesting in that moment. When caring for other people's pets, I'm mindful of where we use the bathroom (if possible) and clean up appropriately. No details are too many, I'm very supportive of specific needs and how your fur baby may be familiar with their care.

About: I have had many different animals my entire life including cats, ferrets, chinchillas, chickens, ducks, hamsters, rabbits… In my 20’s I founded “Not Just Pets, Professional Pet Care”. In my 30’s I founded “Equine Specialist, Care and Training”. I had horses for over 30 years. I trained, showed, pleasure road, belonged to 3 horse clubs and eventually started my own 4-H club. I have bred and trained Boston Terriers and German Shepherds. Currently, I have 4 dogs that I rescued from a SC kill shelter. About: I have volunteered at an animal rescue sanctuary for 10+ years. As a caretaker my duties at the sanctuary require demanding physical labor, housekeeping, and responsibilities of supervision over animals and other volunteers. We had over 100+ different types of animals and always have been around dogs and cats! They are my joy! I work 2 full time jobs but I have mornings, evenings and weekends open! If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. Tucker previously went through heartworm treatment, so I have experience following medication schedules and giving medication as directed.
