About: As a former veterinary assistant, I have years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and some exotics. As well as dog sitting for friends. But before that, I grew up an animal lover, naturally. From when I was young until now, I’m known for bringing in lost or injured animals— whether it’s a dog or an owl, no animal left behind, friends. ✌️ I have a bachelors in Biology/pre-veterinary science and for the last 11 years I’ve lived on a farm in old beech mountain community with 2 dogs, chickens, and help with my neighbors cattle when I can. I’m familiar with numerous dog breeds and knowledgeable on all ages. From puppy training to complicated senior care, I’ve walked through just about it all. But more importantly, I’ll love your babies as my own. They will be snuggled (if they’re into that) and have plenty of yard to run and explore. *because of my sons cat allergies/asthma, I cannot bring cats into my home. But I’m more than happy to do a drop-by visit to yours to care for them there. I’m currently working more remote days for the summer so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’ll keep my calendar updated with my switching working schedule. But weekends are almost always open! I have plenty of yard for them to run around and explore, as well as 2 very friendly dogs of my own to keep them company. Or if they’re a couch potato, I have one of those too and plenty of couch. I’m a homebody so I will be home with them. If you have special care instructions, that’s not a problem at all.
About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. About: I love animals of all sizes. I have over 10 years experience as a vet assistant and have also worked in boarding facilities. I can care for animals from babies to seniors. Able to handle giving medications and special needs. I work full time Mon-Fri. During the week if I dogsit the dogs go out at 6:30am, 12:30-1 lunch potty break, and then I'm home at 6pm. Free on weekends. I can board during the week some depending on how many potty breaks your baby needs while I work. Also, depending on the size or situation I may be able to board more than 2 pets at a time. I live on a small farm. I have a large fenced in yard. I have 6 small dogs of my own and one larger (50lb) dog. They are all rescues from various situations (mostly from work- vet tech). All my dogs are dog friendly except one I have named Hop. Hop doesn't go out with client dogs at all so no worries there. My other dogs are used to socializing in larger groups with my friend/coworkers dogs. I do have room to crate your dog if needed or keep separate from my dogs if needed. I have a lot of experience with dog behavior and social cues and dogs are not left playing unsupervised. My dogs are all current on vaccines, flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention.

Before him I had another Aussie (female) who acquired cancer around 7-8years old, because of this I have sadly become very skilled with working with sick/hurting dogs. I also love to train dogs, my current Aussie has a Novice Trick Dog title from AKC and we are working on his intermediate title while learning Conformation skills and Therapy dog skills. About: Have had pets my entire life, bred multiple reptiles in the past, have had several dogs over the years, exotics, still have a 23 year old african grey who is my middle child who won't leave the nest, spent a decade volunteering at a no-kill shelter, multiple animal rescues, have worked in multiple veterinary offices, been vegetarian since 1997, worked as a vegan chef in several restaurants, and still love to cook for potlucks, friends and fun! I'm currently just working a few days a week in a restaurant, no other commitments. Plus it's the longest I've ever been without companion animal of my own, so I have extra time and love to give at the moment. About: As a former veterinary assistant, I have years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and some exotics. As well as dog sitting for friends. But before that, I grew up an animal lover, naturally. From when I was young until now, I’m known for bringing in lost or injured animals— whether it’s a dog or an owl, no animal left behind, friends. ✌️ I have a bachelors in Biology/pre-veterinary science and for the last 11 years I’ve lived on a farm in old beech mountain community with 2 dogs, chickens, and help with my neighbors cattle when I can. But more importantly, I’ll love your babies as my own. They will be snuggled (if they’re into that) and have plenty of yard to run and explore. *because of my sons cat allergies/asthma, I cannot bring cats into my home. But I’m more than happy to do a drop-by visit to yours to care for them there. I’m currently working more remote days for the summer so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’ll keep my calendar updated with my switching working schedule. But weekends are almost always open! I have plenty of yard for them to run around and explore, as well as 2 very friendly dogs of my own to keep them company. Or if they’re a couch potato, I have one of those too and plenty of couch.
