I’m currently only working part-time, but when i get home I have plenty of time with my pets. My husband also works from home, so we would be a team on Rover! I currently have two dogs and a cat, and have applied for this position because I truly understand the struggle of having to leave and find someone trustworthy to care for them while I am away. From puppies and kittens, to senior pets, I will provide your pet with the same love and attention that I would wish for my own. I currently work full-time as an Instructional Specialist. I am free in the evenings and on weekends with the exception of holidays and Summer break. I am free Monday-Sunday during summer months and holiday breaks. We have a large yard for walking and a clean and quiet home for your pet to relax. I have no children except for my own two pups. I will take care of your pet as I would take care of my own.
About: I'm dependable, and genuinely care about animals. I know how to administer medication. I know how to clean ears and eyes of Brachycephalic animals. I've taken care of pets ranging from 1 pound to 120 pounds. The only thing I absolutely won't do is put myself at risk. If your animal is aggressive don't leave town with me in charge. I won't risk myself. Anything else I can and will happily deal with professionally. I have a fairly flexible schedule but it's generally consistent. I won't commit to something I can't do. Mornings and evenings generally work best. I can do weekends as well. My pack is three dogs and three cats. We go on walks together regularly. We have a young kitten that is high energy and he gets laser light play time and extra walks occasionally.

“Keri was absolutely wonderful!!!! We needed a much needed dog sitter for July 4th weekend. Everyone was either booked or not interested, or no response. After a couple of responses our family agreed on Keri because we believed there was something really special about her. She was also about 40-50 mins away from where we were staying. We didn't care because we felt it was worth it. We were traveling from out of state visiting family. We have an American bully and was so nervous because it was his first time with anyone else overnight. Communication was excellent. She always responded and had a welcoming spirit from day one inquiring. When we arrived we had a hard time leaving Drako because he was not feeling it. He actually snapped at Keri a couple of times and was very protective of the new surroundings. When I say Keri held it down she really did. She welcomed us and there was 7 of us, our 4 children, niece , my husband and myself into her home to help get Drako acquainted. It was too late to try any other option but she was more than willing to stick in there. We spent almost 2 hours getting Drako comfortable and we pulled every trick out the bag. Finally he was comfortable after running around the yard and being outside with one of their dogs. He welcomed her and her children in his space and played with the other dogs. He finally took treats from Keri and went near her without snapping. Once getting him settled we snuck out once he was well relaxed and when we thought he was calm and not going to run behind us out the door. With our surprise we received pics of Drako calm and getting rubs from her husband and family and they fell in love with him. He was in a safe and very clean environment with a loving family and Drako became one with them. I absolutely would recommend Keri to anyone who needs a dog-sitter. She’s the best. I will go out my way to bring Drako to Keri when we travel again. She was the absolute best. There’s not enough words of gratitude to Thank Keri and her family for all they did for our boy. Keri is and will always be our number 1!”
