“If I could give Danielle and her husband 10 stars I would. Our dog hurt his leg two days before we were to leave on a eight day cruise and she took great care of him, giving him his medicine and making sure he didn’t jump, go down/up stairs or play too hard which anyone knows is hard in itself with a dog. She offered to take him to the vet if he got worse and kept us updated every day. They are amazing honestly and we definitely will be using her going forward. If you are looking for a groomer she has her own grooming business as well called Hugz-N-Kisses Pet Spa definitely check her out!!!”

“Could not say enough good things about Larissa! She was the perfect person for our pup to stay with. Got detailed messages, pictures, and videos every single day which eased my dog mom heart so much. Clover had a blast playing and hanging out with her pups, too! Will definitely be using again in the future. 😊”

“We were so lucky Marcia was available for our last minute emergency trip to VA. Our pup had never been dropped off at a sitter or been to a kennel. Marcia helped her feel calm and loved while we were away. She sent plenty of pictures to help ease our minds and gave her lots of love.”

“Amanda was great! She was responsive and thorough with questions she asked about Griff, and we really appreciated her flexibility on a meet and greet and pick up times. I’d definitely recommend her to others and am glad we trusted her with our pup!”

“Leaving Mac with Sarah and her family was a true blessing for me and Mac both! The love and acceptance of mac was unconditional love ! You can't find anyone else that gives the attention, affection and love they gave!! I love Sarah and will most definitely have her watch him again ! 💝🤗😊”

“Abigail and her family have been amazing with my 2 girls! She is super communicative and made sure she knew everything about the girls before the start date. The girls always come home happy and tired, and Abigail always sends pictures of all the fun they have. Highly recommend!”

“Tasha is the best! My husband and I have such peace of mind leaving our dog with her and her family. We get lots of updates and it truly shows that she loves every pup like her own.”
“Gabrielle did a fantastic job with Jack. He was well cared for and she sent plenty of updates throughout our trip. We were slightly worried he wouldn't want to come home with us after all the fun at Gabrielle's home. 😊 Thankful we could relax knowing her family loved Jack like one of their own while we were out of town!”

“We had a fantastic experience! Our fur baby is extremely anxious and had a great time. Christen communicated regularly and sent pictures. This is was first time using Roover and are so happy we chose Christen!”

“Aanchal did a wonderful job looking after our dog and I would not hesitate to recommend her. Much appreciated were the many updates and photos of our dog, so we always felt like she was being well looked after. Will definitely use again!”

“Ms. KenLynn is AMAZING!!!! After taking my babies to multiple kennel companies in Jacksonville, and they coming back shaking, and distraught, I decided to give Rover a try in hopes that I can find someone to properly take care of my babies. Ms. KenLynn kept my mind at ease, after dropping off my fur babies for the first time, as she would periodically send me pics and messages while I was away.. The real deal came, when I came back to pick them up. They weren’t running for the door, they were not shaking, they were not anxious or trying to jump on me in hopes to be picked up and rescued. Instead, looked happy, refreshed, and as if they had second thoughts to even come back home, LOL. How refreshing and wonderful to know your pups are receiving the proper care and you can go away with no uneasiness or care in the world, knowing that your babies are left in the best hands. I have used many, very popular, kennel places here in Jacksonville, and there is no one like Ms. KenLynn! The TLC she gave my pups and making them feel safe and loved is worth anything in this world. Ms. KenLynn will always be my go-to when I need my babies to be cared for. Thank you Rover and thank you Ms. Lynn- there is no price you can ever pay when your babies are left in the care and hands of the best care taker ever! Saki and Caiyo say hello, and that they miss you and love you and can’t wait to see you again! ?? ❤️”

“Mya was a life saver for my family- her quick response for a last minute long term stay was incredible. Her attention to detail, compassion, communication, and unconditional love towards Aster and our family is something we’ll forever be so grateful for. Thank you to Mya and her husband for their support and handling of our beloved dog- I’d recommend her 100%. Mya was thorough and thoughtful on everything from bathing requests to making sure kitchen renovations were OK for Aster to go through… I trusted her knowing she had Asters best wishes in mind everyday. She made me feel so comfortable knowing Aster was safe and in good hands. Again, thank you so much- her 3+ month stay was greatly appreciated and we’re forever grateful!!”

“Samantha is a wonderful dog sitter!! Knox is always so excited when we pull up to her house and she loves Samantha, her family and their dogs. She keeps me updated every day with pics and videos. We are very grateful to have found such an amazing sitter for Knox!!”

“We always feel our girls are in good hands when we take them to Diane's. They are excited to see her and she stays in touch with us constantly to let us know how they're doing.”

About: I have multi-dog household experience. There has always been at least two dogs in my house growing up, they’re my favorite animals. I have a chocolate Labrador named Whiskey, and a Schnoodle named Max. My chihuahua sadly passed away. I love to meet and have other dogs in my house. I’m comfortable administering oral medication if needed. I’ll send daily photo updates. I’m a stay at home mom so there’s always time to care and play with our furry kids. I wake up between 6-8am and go to bed by 10pm. When I need to leave the house to run errands, I don’t take longer than 3 hours at a time, so I make sure my pets are taken outside for potty and water breaks. There is a fenced area in the back of our house, and a big open area. I can take them out on a leash if needed or crate them if they’re not house trained.
“Samantha and Christopher were absolutely amazing with my two GSDs! They took such wonderful care of them, and it gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Every picture they sent showed both of my dogs looking happy, relaxed, and well cared for, which meant the world to me. My dogs have separation anxiety, so leaving them is never easy, but Samantha and Christopher made the entire experience so much less stressful. It was clear they were patient, attentive, and genuinely cared about making my pups feel safe and comfortable. I'm incredibly grateful for the love and care they gave my dogs. I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, compassionate sitters. Thank you both for taking such great care of my babies! ❤️”

About: I grew up with dogs as a kid. As an adult I’ve owned 2 dogs for a total of 4 years. The first I had for 3 years and had gotten him from a friend due to PCS. My current is a GSD that I got as an 8 week puppy who is currently over a year old that I trained myself. I currently work about 6-8 hours a day but have a short commute to work so if needed, I am able to check in on pets on a more frequent basis. I take my dog outdoors pretty frequently since he’s high energy whether it be on walks or for play in the yard. At least once a week, I take him somewhere public to work on his socialization and training with distractions. We train pretty frequently as well and have to say he does pretty well so if you’d like, I can assist in anything you’re trying to train. Disclaimer though, I’m not a professional trainer, only dogs I’ve trained are the ones I’ve owned. I live in a house with a pretty large fenced yard. I’m a big advocate for dogs getting activity, whether that’s physical like a walk or play outside or if it’s any kind of mental stimulation. My dog is crate trained and stays in his crate while I am not at home. I would prefer the same of your pet to ensure safety of your fur baby while I am away. Once I’m home, I allow my dog to free roam the house and will do the same for yours. My dog has been around several dogs and cats and is very friendly, social and playful, however, if needed, I have the ability to separate animals that don’t get along to ensure their safety. If there’s any questions on care I provide, please feel free to reach out! I’m pretty flexible and will do my best provide the care your pet is used to/needs.

“Jade went above and beyond, even though we only needed her to check on our cats a couple times while we were gone over spring break. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Services with Michelle was a breath of fresh of air to say the least. I booked her for drop in visits and she was accommodating to my schedule when I was running late to drop off the key from work. She even offered to bring an extra blanket for my kittens since it was a wintery weekend! It was my first time using Rover and I will definitely be booking Michelle again!”

“Allana was great. She was always on time and was great with my dog. My dog is very shy and doesn’t get comfortable with everyone but warmed up to Allana really fast. She communicated and sent me pictures and updates after every visit. I would highly recommend her.”

“Leli is the best! We were gone for a long trip and she was able to do drop in visits for my cat every day. Leli puts so much care and time into her daily check-ins - the photos and detailed notes were much appreciated and puts your mind at ease when you’re on a trip! I love that she adapted to whatever my cat wanted to do that day and spent time with him.”

“Brittany was great. 1st time using her. She communicated, sent photos, and completed the things we requested. It was comforting to know that our cats were taken care of while we were away.”

“The best service I could have asked for. Exceeded expectations, sent me updates of my cats, played with them, brought in my mail, took out my trash, watered my plant, and was consistent with times he was able to show up. I look forward to working with him in the future as well! Thank you!”

“Jacob was great to work with! Immediately after our meet and greet, we knew our dogs and cat would be in great hands. We have a one year old Great Dane that has a ton of energy, and Jacob made sure to take the time to play with her and tire her out. We have never seen her as tuckered out as the day after we got back! He communicated well throughout the process, and left our home like he was never there! Will definitely be using Jacob again!”

“The hardest part of traveling is leaving my cats. KJ put all my anxieties at ease. She was quick with communication throughout the process of booking and when she was sitting for my kitties. I had her come twice daily and she would send me lots of photos and updates of them. It was an absolute joy seeing how my cats melted for her. I cannot thank her enough and absolutely know I will book her again for any upcoming trips planned!!!”

“Mckenna was great! Very communicative and did more than we had asked for. We were very comfortable leaving our cats with her while we were out of town. Would definitely try to rebook her in the future.”

About: As a Family I’ve been taking care of pets for over 40 years. We took in bunnies, parakeets, dogs, cats. Especially close to my heart are senior pets. I am retired but help out with school drop off and pick up for my grandkids and watch them when they are out of school. They are all pet lovers and respectful of pets. I have a fenced in backyard and an elderly dog who loves spending time with other dogs I also go to friends and relatives houses to take care of their pets.
“Bailey was very sweet and gave me the gift of one dog free beach day for my visit to topsail. My Trudy can be anxious and reactive around other dogs, so Bailey’s accommodations of a quiet peaceful 1-dog home were perfect and very similar to what she’s used to day to day after sitting through an overstimulating long drive . The best part is that Bailey is so quickly responsive and warm, and her calendar is accurate; if it’s open she’s flex for bookings. Would 100% use again for day boarding to have dog-duty free beach time and comfort knowing my dog is just chilling in Bailey’s living room.”

About: Hi! I’m Tiffany, and dogs truly are my passion. I’m the proud dog mom of three pups…two of whom are rescues. Through patience, consistency, and structure, I’ve worked through anxiety, reactivity, and other behavioral challenges with my own dogs. Those experiences have taught me that every dog is unique, and that calm leadership, routine, and understanding go a long way. When your pup stays with me, they become part of our family. ⸻ Why Dogs Love Staying Here 🏡 Large, fully fenced yard for supervised play and exploration 🐾 Three friendly resident dogs who help create a balanced, social environment (when appropriate) 🚶 Structured walks and individualized exercise every day 🚲 For dogs that enjoy it and are physically suited, I love taking them on safe bike runs to burn energy in a healthy, fulfilling way. 🧠 Daily enrichment, confidence-building activities, and mental stimulation 😴 Plenty of rest and relaxation so your pup isn’t overstimulated ❤️ Endless love, affection, and one-on-one attention ⸻ My Philosophy I don’t believe dogs thrive from nonstop excitement. They thrive with a healthy balance of exercise, structure, mental enrichment, rest, and affection. That’s why every stay includes opportunities to practice calm behaviors like waiting at doorways, relaxing on place, good leash manners, and appropriate play. My goal is to help your dog leave feeling happier, more confident, and more relaxed than when they arrived. Coming Soon: A canine confidence course designed to build coordination, confidence, and provide an extra layer of mental enrichment. I don’t believe in simply “watching” dogs. I believe in investing in them. Every stay includes exercise, enrichment, structure, and lots of love, so your pup leaves mentally fulfilled, physically exercised, and excited to come back. My days naturally revolve around dogs! I work from home most days, which means your pup won’t be left alone for long stretches. My three dogs are a huge part of my daily routine, and every day includes structured exercise, enrichment, rest, and quality time. I believe dogs thrive on routine, so each guest enjoys a predictable schedule that helps them feel safe, confident, and relaxed. Whether your pup loves adventure or prefers a quieter pace, I’ll tailor their day to fit their personality and energy level. Your dog’s safety and well-being will always come first. I have three friendly dogs of my own (two are rescues), and working through their unique personalities has taught me the value of patience, structure, and understanding. My home has a large, fully fenced yard for supervised play, and I carefully introduce dogs to make sure everyone is comfortable. I’m passionate about creating calm, balanced dogs…not overstimulated ones. Throughout the day we practice simple manners like waiting at doors, settling on a place, calm greetings, and respectful interactions. Every activity is based on your dog’s comfort level and individual needs. Exercise is customized for each guest. That might mean neighborhood walks, fetch, enrichment games, confidence-building activities, or, for dogs who enjoy it and are physically suited, a fun bike run with me. I always prioritize safety over intensity.
About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give every animal. I don’t believe in simply stopping by to feed and leave. I take the time to build trust, learn each pet’s routine, and make sure they feel comfortable while you’re away. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, high energy breeds, and multi pet households. I’m also comfortable caring for farm animals such as chickens, goats, rabbits, and other small livestock. Whether your pet needs an active walk, medication, extra patience, or just plenty of love and attention, I adapt my care to meet their individual needs. My goal is for you to return home to a happy, healthy pet and have complete confidence that they were treated like family every step of the way. Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine, not something I try to fit in between other commitments. I intentionally schedule my day to ensure every pet receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, medication, potty breaks, or simply keeping them company, I make sure their routine stays as consistent as possible. I believe consistency helps pets feel safe and comfortable, especially while their owners are away, and I always strive to provide a calm, dependable, and stress free experience for both pets and their families. Every pet has different needs, so I tailor my care to match their normal routine and your instructions. In your home, I work to keep your pet’s schedule as consistent as possible by following their feeding routine, providing exercise, playtime, potty breaks, medication if needed, and plenty of companionship. I also respect your home by keeping it clean, bringing in mail or packages if requested, watering plants, and making sure everything is secure while you’re away. When pets stay in my home, they are treated like part of the family. They receive regular potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, and lots of attention in a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. I provide updates with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for throughout their stay.
“Sterling loved it at their house. He was always exhausted when I would pink him up in the evenings, and be super excited the second he recognized their street in the mornings. They were super flexible working with me around some inconsistent pickup and drop off times. Will book again next time we're in the area.”

“Allana exceeded expectations and helped put my mind at ease while my dog was home alone. She's an excellent communicator with prompt responses. Will definitely utilize her again in the future if a situation arises.”

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs for about 2 years. I have a dog of my own she is a handful but my whole world 🥹. I would love to be of help to anyone I can. I work part time at a grocery store. I mainly work nights so I get off anywhere between 9 and 11pm. So when trying to schedule check ins I would recommend scheduling the first check in later in the morning so there is less time in between each check in. I have a fenced in yard it’s fairly large enough room to run and play if needed I feel confident in my abilities to safely get your dog in a crate
“We needed someone to walk our GSD at lunchtime for us. My daughter suggested using the Rover app. We were so lucky to have found Chloe! Hey and my fur baby hit it right off. Chloe is absolutely wonderful! Very prompt and great communication ! We appreciate all she does for us and our Jameson, we asked her to dog sit as well. She loves our fur baby and she loves her too! Thank you Chloe!!!”

“April is awesome. She was easy to communicate with and asked a lot of valid questions in order to provide our dogs with the best care. The dogs enjoyed her company and she gave us peace of mind while we were away.”
“Madison was fantastic. We were last minute in our request, but she was quick and gracious. Her communication was perfect and she sent a description of the dog walk and a photo! She was spot on following the details I requested. Can’t wait to use her again!”
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is a lifetime of genuine, hands-on experience. I’ve been caring for both cats and dogs since I was five years old, giving me an instinctive understanding of their needs, personalities, and comfort cues. Over the years, I’ve also gained experience administering medications safely and confidently, whether it’s pills, drops, or special routines. With me, your pets aren’t just looked after—they’re understood, cared for, and treated like family. I am retired military with 4 of my own cats. I am available Monday through Friday, after 6pm and Saturday-Sunday 8am to 4pm. Adding more animals to my daily routine brings joy to my day. I can care for you fur babies in your home by helping them keep to their normal daily routine. I can offer plenty of attention, love, pets, cuddles and whatever else to treat them like the family they are
About: I can’t remember a time I didn’t have a dog. I love to play with them and do anything I can to keep them happy. We’ve got our own house with a fenced in back yard. I am a stay at home mom as well. My kids loves to be outside, so we’ll get plenty of play time! I treat the dogs I watch as they’re my own. Give as much cuddles and play time as they want/need. I will meet all the requirements requested and anything else the dog/owner may need.
About: I've had multiple dogs since I was a child and was the primary caretaker for both my dogs and for my neighbors. I always enjoyed it and would love to continue to take care of pets in my free time. I work full time with a relatively consistent schedule and always am able to balance it with my own dog and would love to do it for other pets. I take my dog on daily walks or on adventures to near by places and I would love to do the same with your dog, especially if they have a favorite spot they love to explore. I keep a close eye on my dog to make sure he is not chewing or swallowing anything he shouldn't be while he is playing independently. With clients, I like to keep the dog active and use appropriate toys to play with them. If needed, I do give baths or wipe down paws. I administer food and certain medications. I have experience with diabetic pets and am comfortable with insulin injections.
