About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. With the limited hours available there, I thought we could try this avenue as well. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. About: I have had, rescued, and taken care of a wide variety of dogs from smaller malti-poos to a Dane who had been living on the street, was skin and bones, and ended up 188 lbs. Currently I have Pippa, a 7-year-old Labrador who is allergic to chicken, so I make part of her food. I am home most of the time, except when I host overly-complex board games at the Hickory Library or the Highland Rec Center -- and those sessions are at most 3 hours long. I am home most days, except when I am hosting 3-hour board games at the local library and rec center. Otherwise, I take care of our house and rental properties. I have a large fenced yard -- especially-so since my house sits along North Center Street. I also use carabiners to make sure that gates are locked.

I have two dogs of my own and I have trained them myself as well as knowing when they need space, fed, or walked. Currently i don't work so i am free any day and anytime to be able to watch your animal. Animals are my best friend and I know they are yours too! I feed my animals twice a day based on their needs. I walk my animals 4 times a day or 3 times day depending on the day. I also help my family with their animals and have been for 9 years

I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. About: I have 2 dogs of my own currently one is 8 and one is 10. I currently work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. i work 5 days a week less than 40 hours and i’m taking care of animals when im on and off the clock so it seems fitting to become a sitter and walker:) I live in a home with an unfenced 2 acre yard. we have a runner in case the dog isn’t leash or off leash trained.
