About: I have cared for many types of dogs, big to small, young to old. One of my more recent clients had a big Labradoodle, who was a rescue and very skittish. I got along with Zooey right away, and we had some fun walks and runs. I love playing catch and tug-war with dogs as well. I myself am very energetic so I know how good it feels to get out in the fresh air and stretch your legs. I love dogs and cats, they are so full of love and I can't help but love them back. I grew up with a variety of dogs and cats, primarily medium to large sized dogs and stray cats we brought in to nurture and love. In my home we have 1 dog and 1 cat who are best friends! we have 40 acres of land but none of it is fenced so we have trained our pup to stay close. our daily routine will be at least a morning and evening walk a day plus some games of chase or tag and brain games. I will typically take my dog Cedar on a walk in my morning with my tea and then we will snuggle, play fetch, maybe go to the dog park and then go on another evening stroll I love all animals dearly and cannot wait to care for yours. I believe strongly in positive reinforcement, as well as being keen on each animals physical cues (body language) as to react appropriately in each moment. I am willing and able to adapt my behavior around your pet(s) to suit your training preferences. About: I raised my dog from a puppy, sadly she passed away back in June at the good ol’ age of 16! She was my best friend and a wonderful co-pilot in any situation. I miss her dearly but am not ready for another dog of my own. I thought dog sitting would be a great opportunity until I’m ready to find another best buddy. Near the end of my dogs life she started to have seizures, so I do know what to do in that situation. Aside from that I have worked in a vet clinic in the past and have also been around animals my entire life. I go into work at 8:30am. I work on Connery way behind Home Depot and have an hour lunch, so if a pet isn’t too far away I can go spend time on my lunch. I get off work at 5 and would be with the pet shortly after that. Doggo will be on a leash if we leave the house. I will follow the directions of the owner if there are any specifics or special requests.
