However, it wasn't until we adopted Opie as a puppy in 2024 that I became passionate about dogs. Due to me spending the most time with training and playing with Opie out of all the members in our little family, his big personality made his way into my heart. He is my buddy and I love taking him for walks, bike rides, park dates, and off leash adventures. I’ve come to love and appreciate tending to Opie and others dogs belonging to family and friends. Tending and caring for them has brought me a lot of satisfaction and happiness. Dogs really are mans best friend, and I am proud to call myself a "dog mom". I am a stay at home mom (SAHM) raising two little boys. We are home a lot of the time, and part of the routine is expelling energy from our dog. About: Aside from owning and caring for all manor of animals since I was little, I have had many opportunities to grow my skills in pet care. I have been caring for dogs out of my home since I was in high school. I have cared for all manor of dogs and cats with a variety of temperaments and ages. I also spent several summers working at a dog grooming shop here in town that also doubles as a doggy daycare, further developing my skills in handling multiple dogs at a time. Ask anyone I know, they will tell you that I adore animals and have since I was small. I am a substitute teacher for the schools here in town. Which means that I dont have work several days of the week. About: I have been dog-sitting/walking since I was ten (that was over 20 years ago!). I started out in my neighborhood and by word-of-mouth became known as someone who will lovingly care for your pets! About: I raised a now senior dog who knows around 30 tricks. I trained him myself. He has special dietary needs and requires a bit of additional support, so I understand how important it is to have someone who will trust your care instructions without questions or judgement. Animals NEED us; they rely on us. In turn, they make our lives better. I grew up with animals and can't imagine my life without them. About: Since I was 12, I had helped my neighbors who moved from Alaska with their 12 husky team of sled dogs. I then helped my neighbors down the road a little further with their breeding business where I did administer shots for puppies, clean kennels make sure they were well fed taken care of. I then have also volunteered at a dog grooming, business for mental health awareness. My summer job is coming to an end in October and I will be very free and available for taking care of someone’s fur babies I would care for them just as if they were mine. I would make sure to give regular potty breaks and walks, play with them and make sure they are well taken care of. While I am caring for the pets in their home I will treat the home with respect. It will stay clean and as if I was never there and the pets would be loved for no matter what
