I grew up surrounded by dogs and have been passionate about animals my entire life (I'm 55 now, and that love has only grown stronger!). I've raised, trained, and cared for puppies through their energetic early years all the way to gentle senior dogs who need extra patience, soft handling, and comfort in their golden years. On my previous ranch, I managed a variety of animals, including horses and cats alongside dogs. That meant daily care routines, grooming, feeding, and building strong bonds with each one. I've also provided dedicated support for sick or injured animals—nursing hurt dogs and horses back to health, assisting with post-surgery recovery, administering medications when needed, and monitoring their progress with care and attention. Whether it's playtime with a bouncy pup, quiet companionship for a senior pet, or gentle rehab for one who's under the weather, I approach every animal with compassion, observation, and a calm, steady presence. Your pet's happiness, safety, and well-being are my top priorities—I treat them with the same devotion I'd give my own. I'm available for pet care most Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays all day long, with full flexibility for walks, drop-ins, boarding, or house sitting. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, I'm available after 11:00 AM onward for walks or drop-ins. Please note: I'm only able to take bookings for about 2 weeks per month to balance my personal schedule, so I recommend reaching out early to check my current openings and confirm dates. I’m excited to care for your pet during the times that work for both of us—let's find the perfect fit! Your pet will feel right at home during their stay with me! I offer in-home boarding in my attached garage, which is fully part of our house—clean, temperature-controlled, secure, and comfortable. When I'm not home (e.g., running errands or out briefly), your pet will be safely boarded there with plenty of space, bedding, toys, and fresh water. It's a quiet, cozy spot designed just for pets, and I check in frequently throughout the day. I have two sturdy crates available if your pup is still working on house training, needs a safe timeout, or if I'm caring for more than one dog at a time—whatever helps everyone stay relaxed and happy. I share my home with two of my own beloved dogs: A gentle senior with adrenal gland cancer (she's low-energy, and will be kept separate from my boarding pets) A happy-go-lucky 7 year-old who loves to play and make new friends (she's energetic but gentle and well-socialized). I carefully match play styles and energy levels, and I supervise all interactions to ensure everyone gets along safely. About: I have had dogs and horses in my life for as long as I can remember. Hunting dog, ranch dogs, pets and rescues. I currently have have 6 dogs and 3 horses. Along with the boarding and adventuring I offer equine services, and small farm sitting. House plants, outside flower and garden care. I can operate ATV UTV and small farm tractors, I have been working with a very experienced dog trainer for over 3 years, I have learned great dog management skills and help with training class occasionally. I have also done some dog training for clients. I have excellent local references, upon request. I am honest reliable and I would love to sit/board for you. I live on 120 acres, with no neighbors in the Kootenai NF. I have multiple dog areas in my home and on the property. At no time will your pup be unsupervised. I am very active with my dogs, I am currently am training with Fae and Chaos and they require a lot of outside time and exercise. Our adventures include hiking paddle boarding, lots of swimming time at the lakes, horseback riding and ATV runs. In the winter activities depend on weather, snowshoeing and trail-joring. I would love to have your dogs come joins us for some pack theraphy fresh air and exercise. My dogs are family and yours will be to. Play dates are most welcome. Walks potty breaks. I am happy to watch them in my home or yours. Let me what your needs are and I will do my best to accommodate them. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members. Living off grid and having all the animals I have, and having a love for them, pet care has been a good fit for me. I am also available weekends and most Holidays. I don’t have another job. Your pet is my focus. I have a large fenced area for free play with a couple of my pups. . This area also has some agility equipment that they can learn to use. Rooms and areas of my home can also be blocked off to keep your dog separate if you prefer. I am currently adding inside kennels for separation needs, older dogs. Though my dogs are allowed on ALL my f6urniture and basically have the run of the house during the day, I will follow your rules while they are here. All of my dogs crate at night. In your home I will follow all instructions and treat animals and home with the utmost care. My clients say they can't even tell I was there. I also offer vet tech service for horses, bandage changes, hand walks, injections, medications, etc,. Light exercise can also be arranged Elderly dogs, medications, injections, nail trims, baths and grooming also available (extra fee)
