About: I recently lost our 12 year old dog, Kona. I am not quite ready for a full time dog of our own, but would love to care for yours! Kona gave me experience from young dogs full of energy, to seniors needing more quiet and rest. Dogs will be given much attention and love! I live close to trails/open space and are able to provide your dog daily walks. I have two children that also love to help! Potty trained is preferable. I've Trapped and brought to the vet, and rehomed a feral cat family. and fostered a feral mama cat and her newborn kittens get adopted into a shelter. She's the person who stops to say hi to every dog on the trail, and she spends her free time at the humane society with the dogs who need the attention most. This past weekend, I had her watch my pup, Logan (11), at her house while I was out of town, and he had the best time! He went on multiple hikes and walks, got to go out to Blue Mountain, and even got in the river. He was so happy when I picked him up and slept hard that whole evening. Logan is a senior, so I'm always a little nervous leaving him with someone new. Eva paid attention to what he actually needed and never pushed him past what he could handle. She checked in with photos and updates while I was gone, which was a huge relief. He also got along great with her own dog, Pete. Outside of the animal stuff, she's reliable and super easy to communicate with. Your pet will be in very good hands. I've already booked her for my next trip!”
