About: Aside from owning and caring for all manor of animals since I was little, I have had many opportunities to grow my skills in pet care. I have been caring for dogs out of my home since I was in high school. I have cared for all manor of dogs and cats with a variety of temperaments and ages. I also spent several summers working at a dog grooming shop here in town that also doubles as a doggy daycare, further developing my skills in handling multiple dogs at a time. Ask anyone I know, they will tell you that I adore animals and have since I was small. I am a middle school teacher during the day, but mornings before school, after im done, and weekends are my prime time. I am willing to get up early to check on your pet in the mornings, board and daycare throughout the week as needed. I am currently with my mom and dad so there is always someone at home for potty breaks and snuggles. We would love to have your pet stay with us or just come for a day! I am a big advocate for learning how an animal works and thinks to better allow me meet their needs. Finding out what an animal likes and disliked has created an environment of trust and ease in my home. I love when they can roam and explore and relax as they need.

However, it wasn't until we adopted Opie as a puppy in 2024 that I became passionate about dogs. Due to me spending the most time with training and playing with Opie out of all the members in our little family, his big personality made his way into my heart. He is my buddy and I love taking him for walks, bike rides, park dates, and off leash adventures. I’ve come to love and appreciate tending to Opie and others dogs belonging to family and friends. Tending and caring for them has brought me a lot of satisfaction and happiness. Dogs really are mans best friend, and I am proud to call myself a "dog mom". I am a stay at home mom (SAHM) raising two little boys. We are home a lot of the time, and part of the routine is expelling energy from our dog. Pet care is just part of our day to day routine, all hours of the day. I have a fenced back yard and a mini Aussie to keep your dog company. Each evening, or when running errands, dogs are put in their crates to rest and recover. Dogs are not allowed on carpeted surfaces or furniture in our home. Dogs will be exposed to ticks, field grass, potential obstacles in the water, other walkers in the area, and light traffic. It is essential that we are all a good match before agreeing to board. Dogs must follow basic commands & have excellent recall despite wildlife distractions. Therefore, we do require a scheduled Meet & Greet with your dog on our property prior to accepting a boarding. We do not visit dog parks for health & safety reasons. ** Our property is not fenced, therefore, boarding is determined on an individual basis and your animal assessed to ensure a safe stay. ** I'm perfectly content to play & care for your animals according to your schedule and needs. I'll ask for clear instructions from you and that all supplies are readily available for use so we can maximize our bonding time. For working breeds especially, I enjoy a variety of mental & physical play, as well as scent walks. Frisbee is a favorite game of ours, and sometimes we engage in mental and/or agility work on our track. Snuggles & loves are always free!!

About: Aside from owning and caring for all manor of animals since I was little, I have had many opportunities to grow my skills in pet care. I have been caring for dogs out of my home since I was in high school. I have cared for all manor of dogs and cats with a variety of temperaments and ages. I also spent several summers working at a dog grooming shop here in town that also doubles as a doggy daycare, further developing my skills in handling multiple dogs at a time. Ask anyone I know, they will tell you that I adore animals and have since I was small. I am a middle school teacher during the day, but mornings before school, after im done, and weekends are my prime time. I am willing to get up early to check on your pet in the mornings, board and daycare throughout the week as needed. I am currently with my mom and dad so there is always someone at home for potty breaks and snuggles. We would love to have your pet stay with us or just come for a day! I am a big advocate for learning how an animal works and thinks to better allow me meet their needs. Finding out what an animal likes and disliked has created an environment of trust and ease in my home. I love when they can roam and explore and relax as they need.

About: I have lifelong experience caring for pets and have owned animals of all breeds, sizes, and backgrounds. I’m an active foster who has helped place six dogs into permanent homes, and I regularly volunteer at local shelters. I also have hands-on experience caring for dogs with medical and special needs, including torn ACLs, allergies, skin conditions, and visual impairments in both young and senior dogs. I work Monday through Friday from 7:00–3:00 PM and am available for walks and check-ins before and after work. I’m happy to discuss additional needs and do my best to accommodate. It is a possibly to do mid-day walks if I have the means to coordinate around my work. My dog is my world (and she may or may not run the house!). She’s allowed on the furniture and enjoys a 30-minute walk every day, rain or shine. The care I provide for your pet will be based entirely on your preferences—whether that means treating them like my own or strictly following your established routines.
