About: I recently lost our 12 year old dog, Kona. I am not quite ready for a full time dog of our own, but would love to care for yours! Kona gave me experience from young dogs full of energy, to seniors needing more quiet and rest. Dogs will be given much attention and love! I live close to trails/open space and are able to provide your dog daily walks. I have two children that also love to help! Potty trained is preferable. I currently work two days a week, home by 3 PM. I live next to lots of trails and open space and enjoy walking daily. I have a fenced backyard to keep your dog safe. About: As a kid, I always wanted a cat. My grandparents had farm cats who would occasionally sneak out and let me pet them, but it wasn’t until I was an adult that I got my own little girl. About: I have trained one dog since she was 6 weeks old and is now 7. I also have a rescued abused dog that I trained that is 2.5 now. I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. I work full-time but can frequently stop by to take care of your pet. I love walks as well and playing fetch (or whatever your pet prefers). I would stop by at least 3 times a day and walk at least twice. For now, I will not house pets more than 2 pets in my home due to limited space. My neighborhood has a lot of kids and other dogs around, as well as large common areas for running around. Can administer medication via treats or orally. Have experience working with dogs on- and off-leash, as well as in packs. Will be able to transport pups in a roomy vehicle all around town and beyond. My daily schedule is pretty flexible, and I'm open to hosting pups in my house or dropping in at the comfort of your pup's own home. Tell me all about your furry friend. About: Growing up we had 3 large dogs. Two of which were raised from puppies. I loved them with all my heart. Nate had many medical issues and we would have to make sure he had his medicine so I know how important and hard that can be. Sam was a very large breed and as he got older his hips weren’t as sturdy. We would walk him while supporting his back legs as the grew weaker. I understand aging dogs and how to watch out for their health. I am also a photographer for dog sled racing. I have helped many racers herd their dogs into formation and back to their kennels. I live close to trails/open space and are able to provide your dog daily walks. I have two children that also love to help! Potty trained is preferable. I currently work two days a week, home by 3 PM. I live next to lots of trails and open space and enjoy walking daily. I have a fenced backyard to keep your dog safe. I have plenty of space inside and outside of our house for your dog to feel comfortable.
