About: I have been dog-sitting/walking since I was ten (that was over 20 years ago!). I started out in my neighborhood and by word-of-mouth became known as someone who will lovingly care for your pets! I understand that a pet's physical needs are important, but I also know that pet's emotional needs are important. When taking care of your fur-baby, I try to love him/her as much as you do! I never had a dog or cat of my own growing up, which just makes it even more special for me to be able to care for yours as though it is my own. I have been house sitting on and off since college, and am very experienced with keeping other peoples' homes/havens clean and well-kept. I enjoy walking, snuggling, and playing with your dogs, and petting, snuggling (if they allow it ;)), and playing with your cats! About: Aside from owning and caring for all manor of animals since I was little, I have had many opportunities to grow my skills in pet care. I have been caring for dogs out of my home since I was in high school. I have cared for all manor of dogs and cats with a variety of temperaments and ages. I also spent several summers working at a dog grooming shop here in town that also doubles as a doggy daycare, further developing my skills in handling multiple dogs at a time. Ask anyone I know, they will tell you that I adore animals and have since I was small. I am a substitute teacher for the schools here in town. Which means that I dont have work several days of the week. This would allow me to be at home with your pet more and can attend to there needs entirely I am a big advocate for learning how an animal works and thinks to better allow me meet their needs. About: I raised a now senior dog who knows around 30 tricks. I trained him myself. He has special dietary needs and requires a bit of additional support, so I understand how important it is to have someone who will trust your care instructions without questions or judgement. Pet care is just part of our day to day routine, all hours of the day. I have a fenced back yard and a mini Aussie to keep your dog company. Each evening, or when running errands, dogs are put in their crates to rest and recover. Dogs are not allowed on carpeted surfaces or furniture in our home. But they are allowed on the main level of our house. We offer a lot of love and time to each dog who stays here.
