She has 2 dogs that were super playful and sweet with Boo. Leah was very careful to introduce our dogs first, which clued me in to how responsible and caring she is. While Boo was there, not only did he get to play in her yard and cuddle on the couch with her (um, he's 65 lbs and growing), she also took him on outings-including the dog island! About: I've always had pets. Been very good at taking good care of them. My last two were elderly. I've housesat for multiple friends. Im very active with animals if they want to be active or calm and cuddly when they don't. I genuinely just love all animals and seem to bond with most. Just hope I get the opportunity to bond with your animal, cause they're my favorite. I work full time from 8 to 4:30 at the university. I have weekends off. I do have a few hours of a class on Saturdays. I have a small apartment and two roommates, one of which, doesn't want animals around. But im willing to house sit. And I'm a cordial house guest. About: I have had dogs in my family my whole life from younger dogs to senior dogs, low energy to high energy. Have experience carkng for dogs of friends and neighbors. I have also worked on a farm with many goats the last 4+ years where I helped care for them every day Plenty of free time this summer summer to be able to care for your dog. Typically available weekdays and weekends with notice two days in advance. Can be pretty flexible. I currently live in an apartment that is kept clean with two roommates who also like dogs. Dog friendly area with yard space when they need to go outside. Good environment for walks with hiking trail close by I can take them on. Can take them to play outside. Allowed on furniture if they want. They will get plenty of attention and playtime.
About: I have been caring for animals since pet sitting for my aunt and uncle’s 3 rowdy dogs as a teen, sometimes up to a month when they went on long trips. I also have cared for dogs of my own for most of my adult life and consider them to be members of the family. My current dog Ron has some special care needs which has taught me to be patient and sensitive to pups who need a little extra care and attention. About: I am a full-time journalist who loves to get out on the weekends! I’m originally from Alaska and spend every opportunity I can getting outside with my 15-year-old border collie. I work from home and stay with the animals all day. We wake up early for potty breaks first thing in the morning. Dogs are allowed on the furniture for ultimate snuggles! I have a fenced yard with plenty of animal friends to keep your pet occupied and comfortable. About: I have had dogs of my own since I was born and have loved being around them my whole life. I love to set up little play dates for my dogs with neighbor’s and/or friend’s dogs! “Leah treated my dog Boo like a king. I couldn't have been happier about his stay with her, and neither could Boo. Leah's a great communicator-I received daily feedback of what they were doing, where they went, and reports on his behavior, how he got along with her dogs, and pictures(!). She has 2 dogs that were super playful and sweet with Boo. Leah was very careful to introduce our dogs first, which clued me in to how responsible and caring she is. While Boo was there, not only did he get to play in her yard and cuddle on the couch with her (um, he's 65 lbs and growing), she also took him on outings-including the dog island! I would definitely use Leah again and felt super comfortable about her taking care of my buddy. Highly recommended. Thank you Leah-from both of us! You're awesome!”
About: I have previously owned Labradoodles so I have 18 years of experience with high energy dogs. I also have experience in taking care of dogs who require extra medical care. I love to walk, hike and go for runs with dogs but most importantly, I can give them love and attention while you are away. I am retired and looking for the opportunity to assist you in the care of your furry friends while you are working and or traveling. I have flexibility in my schedule to accommodate your needs. I have a large fences back yard, with no pets of my own. At night I have a mud room for your dog to comfortably sleep in or if needed a pad to lay in a bedroom.
