We love going for hikes in the woods, and strolling around town. I also have a 3 year old cat, Meeko who is an expert snuggler, and often thinks he is a dog. I'm capable and competent on providing medications to animals if needed. I love animals, and can't wait to meet yours! My schedule is incredibly flexible. I’m able and happy to devote anytime and energy needed to accommodate your and your pet(s) schedule and needs! Just let me know. Whether your dog loves leashed walks through town, or running through the field I'm happy to tend to their needs. Belly rubs and snuggles are a favorite too!
About: I grew up on a small organic farm outside of bozeman, we had a lots of animals growing up and we always had rescue dogs as well. I grew up taking care of cats and bunnies and dogs basically my whole life, I also dog sit consistently for a client in summers. I’m currently a full time student at U of M and my class times are random throughout the day so my schedule works perfectly for pet sitting, dog walking and drop ins anytime. I follow the routine I’m given by the owner and I like to be active so I’ll usually play or take the dog on a walks/hikes if the dog is up for it, otherwise I’ll just stick to the given feeding/exercise schedule and take care of the house and dog or cat like normal and leave everything as I found it.

I have a large fences back yard, with no pets of my own. At night I have a mud room for your dog to comfortably sleep in or if needed a pad to lay in a bedroom.

“Leah treated my dog Boo like a king. I couldn't have been happier about his stay with her, and neither could Boo. Leah's a great communicator-I received daily feedback of what they were doing, where they went, and reports on his behavior, how he got along with her dogs, and pictures(!). She has 2 dogs that were super playful and sweet with Boo. Leah was very careful to introduce our dogs first, which clued me in to how responsible and caring she is. While Boo was there, not only did he get to play in her yard and cuddle on the couch with her (um, he's 65 lbs and growing), she also took him on outings-including the dog island! About: I have had dogs in my family my whole life from younger dogs to senior dogs, low energy to high energy. Have experience carkng for dogs of friends and neighbors. I have also worked on a farm with many goats the last 4+ years where I helped care for them every day Plenty of free time this summer summer to be able to care for your dog. Typically available weekdays and weekends with notice two days in advance. Can be pretty flexible. I currently live in an apartment that is kept clean with two roommates who also like dogs. Dog friendly area with yard space when they need to go outside. Good environment for walks with hiking trail close by I can take them on. Can take them to play outside. Allowed on furniture if they want. They will get plenty of attention and playtime.
