“I cannot say enough good about Charles! 5 stars are not enough!!! I've been using Rover regularly since 2017 as I travel for work. I am very choosy about where I leave my girl as she had a bad experience last year. I booked initially with someone less expensive, but went with my gut and changed to Charles at the last minute. I am SO VERY GLAD I did!! I received daily updates and photos of my girl having an absolute BLAST and of her snuggling in their laps...by day 2! My girl rarely gets that comfortable anywhere, let alone that quickly. I had to leave her for 15 days and was very nervous about it until I saw that. When I went to pick her up, I think she was conflicted over whether she wanted to stay or come home with me, and was even a little down the first day...She misses them for sure!! About: Growing up with animals has taught me the importance of their care and well being. They are all so unique, why we love them so! About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was 15 and have loved every minute! I spent a year working for Telluride Humane Society in Telluride CO where I got to socialize rescue animals and get them acclimated to life in a home. I have experience caring for senior dogs with mobility issues as well as developing and executing a plan to get over weight dogs healthy again. I took a break from Rover during my undergrad to focus more on my studies, but as a graduate student at MSU I have a fairly flexible schedule and am excited to start taking care of pets again! I am currently a graduate student at MSU with a fairly consistent but open schedule. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I have class until 1pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays are entirely set aside for my personal research which means that I am on my own schedule and have more flexibility to help! I love an affectionate pet and am happy to give them plenty of love and attention! Though, I also understand that some of them prefer to keep to themselves especially around a new person. I believe I know how to read their body language and figure out where to go from there. I would love to be able to take care of pets at my own home, but our homeowners don’t allow it so I would mainly have to do house visits (which I think is more comfortable for the pet anyway).

About: I’ve taken care of pets of every kind since I was about 10 years old. We had chickens, goats, horses, cows, dogs, cats, and a peacock growing up. I’ have two dogs of my own and I’ve owned horses for the last 20 years of my life’s I’m currently working part-time early mornings so I am home all day to spend time with your pet. When I am work, my partner is home in case of any emergency. We have 10 acres of unfenced property for your dog to run. About: I spent my last two years of high school volunteering my weekends at the humane society. I had spent every Sunday there playing with the centers animals making sure that they are happy and healthy. I am currently a student at MSU and with the summer coming up I am looking for some ways to fill my time during the days. I have a lot of flexibility and love spending time with animals and being outdoors. My dogs are very friendly and love to play. I am very active. If you request house sitting I can’t be there 24/7. I enjoy hiking everyday and hope your dogs can come with me. I understand some folks want their dogs to stay at their home. I just want to share I will still need to be gone parts of the day taking care of my dogs as well as other daily life tasks and my part time job. I prefer boarding at my home overall but can accommodate house sitting. I live in downtown Belgrade with my husband. We have a large fenced in yard at .4 acres and a doggie door. We have three wonderful dogs; a mini Aussie, a golden retriever pit lab mix, and a lab pointer mix. I have a separate, personal, insurance plan for pet daycare & boarding, with expanded coverage for client pets. I am happy to share my certificate including all limits for general liability, vet care, human medical coverage, damage to property, and more. I also know how to perform CPR on pets.
