While Boo was there, not only did he get to play in her yard and cuddle on the couch with her (um, he's 65 lbs and growing), she also took him on outings-including the dog island! About: Since I was 10 I’ve taken care of the pets in my family. Bunnies, dogs, cats, fish, gerbils and mice. I’ve given baths, taken dogs on runs, cuddled with kittens, played with bunnies. I’ve had to give medication to animals before. I’m quite active (trail runner) and really open to anything. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I work remote from home as a video editor and I get to decide my own schedule and hours everyday. That means I get to prioritize your pet or home first! I’ve grown up with animals all my life - so I suppose at this point it is just second nature to be around them. I make sure not to leave often, especially in the first 48 hours, so that I can help keep your pets relax as you leave. About: Animals have been a constant in my life since childhood. I've loved and cared for many pets of my own - dogs, cats, ferrets, small animals, reptiles, birds, and fish - which has given me hands-on experience with everything from syringe feeding to crate, house, and litter box training to medical and senior care. I've fostered rescues, volunteered at the Humane Society, worked in pet stores, and looked after friends' and neighbors' pets many times over the years. About: Growing up we had 3 large dogs. Two of which were raised from puppies. I loved them with all my heart. Nate had many medical issues and we would have to make sure he had his medicine so I know how important and hard that can be. Sam was a very large breed and as he got older his hips weren’t as sturdy. We would walk him while supporting his back legs as the grew weaker. She has 2 dogs that were super playful and sweet with Boo. Leah was very careful to introduce our dogs first, which clued me in to how responsible and caring she is. While Boo was there, not only did he get to play in her yard and cuddle on the couch with her (um, he's 65 lbs and growing), she also took him on outings-including the dog island! About: I have been caring for animals since pet sitting for my aunt and uncle’s 3 rowdy dogs as a teen, sometimes up to a month when they went on long trips. I also have cared for dogs of my own for most of my adult life and consider them to be members of the family. My current dog Ron has some special care needs which has taught me to be patient and sensitive to pups who need a little extra care and attention. I would love to welcome your furry buddy into our home and would treat them like another member of the family. I currently work from home so am able to give your pup lots of attention and exercise. I also am a very active person and love to frequent the local trails if that is something you would like for your pup. I have a fenced front and back yard and a dog door that can be locked if need be. I have multiple dog beds and also allow dogs on the furniture (I of course will not allow it if it’s a behavior you don’t want your dog to learn). Like I said, I consider them to be part of the family.
