About: I have been dog-sitting/walking since I was ten (that was over 20 years ago!). I started out in my neighborhood and by word-of-mouth became known as someone who will lovingly care for your pets! I understand that a pet's physical needs are important, but I also know that pet's emotional needs are important. When taking care of your fur-baby, I try to love him/her as much as you do! I never had a dog or cat of my own growing up, which just makes it even more special for me to be able to care for yours as though it is my own. I have been house sitting on and off since college, and am very experienced with keeping other peoples' homes/havens clean and well-kept. I enjoy walking, snuggling, and playing with your dogs, and petting, snuggling (if they allow it ;)), and playing with your cats! About: I have years of experience going into homes and adjusting my schedule to try and keep pet care as close to their normal routine as possible. I’ve watched animals of many kinds and many ages. I always meet your pets before we make a firm plan to make sure it will be a good fit for both your animals and me. It’s important you’re able to enjoy a worry free trip knowing your pets are not stressed out in your absence. I do work full time and am mostly interested in helping you for a weekend getaway. I have an hour lunch break so it’s feasible to help with weekdays in the right location. Weekdays are more for helping second shift workers with walks and potty breaks as I can pop in after my own work day ends at 4:30. I do my best to stick to pet routines outlined by the client. It’s worth noting, I will generally not let your dogs off leash in an area without a fence. I will not risk them not returning to me. Exceptions are case by case based on dog training.

I have two cats currently and one of my babies is a senior cat I recently adopted at 9 years old. She has lung issues and I’ve been navigating taking care of her needs while showing both of my babies the attention they deserve. I also had a dog for 13 years before that and he was / will always be the love of my life. I currently work part time and go to school full time but my schedule is very organized and because of school I have the time to hang out with the fur babies while doing school work or finishing up assignments in between so it is a win/win! About: ** I am a good fit for your pet if your dog is -a higher energy dog -good with children -and is kennel trained I grew up on a small farm caring for animals since I was a small child. However, it wasn't until we adopted Opie as a puppy in 2024 that I became passionate about dogs. Due to me spending the most time with training and playing with Opie out of all the members in our little family, his big personality made his way into my heart. He is my buddy and I love taking him for walks, bike rides, park dates, and off leash adventures. I’ve come to love and appreciate tending to Opie and others dogs belonging to family and friends. Tending and caring for them has brought me a lot of satisfaction and happiness. Dogs really are mans best friend, and I am proud to call myself a "dog mom". I am a stay at home mom (SAHM) raising two little boys. We are home a lot of the time, and part of the routine is expelling energy from our dog. I’m an active foster who has helped place six dogs into permanent homes, and I regularly volunteer at local shelters.
