About: I have been dog-sitting/walking since I was ten (that was over 20 years ago!). I started out in my neighborhood and by word-of-mouth became known as someone who will lovingly care for your pets! I understand that a pet's physical needs are important, but I also know that pet's emotional needs are important. When taking care of your fur-baby, I try to love him/her as much as you do! I never had a dog or cat of my own growing up, which just makes it even more special for me to be able to care for yours as though it is my own. I raised and trained a "Guide Dog for the Blind" and spent 11 years of my youth in 4-H and FFA showing cattle and horses. I also had cats, bunnies, chicken and ducks. About: Aside from owning and caring for all manor of animals since I was little, I have had many opportunities to grow my skills in pet care. I have been caring for dogs out of my home since I was in high school. I have cared for all manor of dogs and cats with a variety of temperaments and ages. I also spent several summers working at a dog grooming shop here in town that also doubles as a doggy daycare, further developing my skills in handling multiple dogs at a time. Ask anyone I know, they will tell you that I adore animals and have since I was small. I am a substitute teacher for the schools here in town. Which means that I dont have work several days of the week. This would allow me to be at home with your pet more and can attend to there needs entirely I am a big advocate for learning how an animal works and thinks to better allow me meet their needs. About: Most people see cats as these big, dramatic creatures who are perfectly fine on their own. And while I agree that cats are pretty independent, they still bond with their people and enjoy having someone check in on them. As a cat owner myself, I understand the desire to have someone make sure your cat is doing okay, give them some attention, and maybe get in a little playtime. Unfortunately, not everyone is willing to put up with a cat’s personality—but I’m here to tell you, I am! I know every cat is different, and I completely respect the cats who only want their person to play with them. But if your cat is willing to let me join in, I’d be happy to give them some playtime and attention while you’re away. I live in Billings but also frequent the Roberts, Joliet, and Red lodge areas, so consider me for overnights if you are out in that area. I work from home part time and am able to create my own schedule. This would be a fun and rewarding way to get out if the house. My dogs sleep in bed with me, but I would have your pets sleep wherever they are used to. I like to keep feeding on a regular schedule. 8am for breakfast and 6pm for dinner. I like to go for walks around 4, again keeping a schedule. Since I would be staying in your house, if you want, your pets would keep to whatever their regular routine is.

I have been caring for dogs out of my home since I was in high school. I have cared for all manor of dogs and cats with a variety of temperaments and ages.
